This is my second visit to biscuitville my first time at this location in Durham. I will say I do agree with some of the other reviews that some of the employee are ghetto. Let me explain. I walk in and and the cashier is dancing which is cool I don't mind that at all. What's was off putting is singing Ying Yang twins windows to the walls super loud if you know the lyrics then you now that's not appropriate for a family place :/ Anyways, I end up ordering if I remember correctly the ultimate biscuit breakfast with comes with biscuits eggs double meat your choice of grits, hash browns and I forgot the other items forgive me. I went with the grits and yes! I put sugar in them jawns lol and a muffin and drink all for $12 including tax! That's a steal. Everything was delicious and filling. I love everything is made from scratch at that. This is now one of my favorite go to's when I want a cheap filling breakfast. It's well worth it. No to mention the portions are huge. Biscuitville is one of my favorite fast food breakfast chains. Their food is great. However... The level of service at a Biscuitville can range anywhere between great and pretty bad. A lot of it depends on who is working there that day and ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER AT THE DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW. There's been a lot of times where the order you pay for isn't the order you leave with at the window. Often times the staff does not care about their level of service and often spends time on their phone or chatting it up with their friends as the line for the drive through grows longer and out into traffic. With that said, I freakin' love the food here. The bacon and sausage biscuits never disappoint. The hashbrowns and the cheese grits are my favorite sides. This place is typically my cheat meal for the week. Biscuitville is one of the few places where it doesn't feel like the prices have crept up to being unreasonable. This was my first, and now last time, visiting this location. The food was pretty good however the staff, mainly the cashier (Jadah, I think) treated me and my wife like such an inconvenience. She was extremely rude, hardly answered any of our menu questions and acted like we should have known. Then she treated other customers rudely because the lobby trash cans were SO FULL. She acted like they were the issue with it being full. The lobby of this location was also very dirty. The customer service absolutely RUINED my experience here. I will not be back. Yesterday, I came across town to get a biscuit from your Durham store (#158). I was dumbfounded to hear BISCUITVILLE was out of BISCUITS! Let's just stop here to contemplate what this means! I in all my years have never been to a pizza hut that said it was out of pizza! I have never been to a Hamburger place that ran out of buns. I have never been to a Red Lobster that ran out of lobsters! Isn't there some kind of procedure or training in place to ensure that a Biscuitville never runs out of biscuits?!?! I guess not. I was leery of the English muffin, but since I had come all that way and was running out of lunchtime, so I agreed. The muffin had not even been toasted and it was terrible. There were 3 cars ahead of me and it took over 20 minutes to get to the window. When I finally got there, the cashier rang me up and told me they were out of fries, but could substitute a hash brown patty. Luckily, she said she found some fries. This place tends to be super busy between 8am-11am! I advice not going during those times- go before or after. Otherwise, service is not bad at all! They're very quick and precise with their orders. The manager Dondre Bonnet is also extremely nice and caring! You can tell he cares about the customer satisfaction of this place. The inside is usually extremely clean. The food is pretty good! Biscuitville might not be the most amazing breakfast in the world, but I think it is king of all drive-thru breakfasts out there. It's also not very healty, but not much drive-thru food is. The biscuits are delicious. When you get a meal, you can get your sandwich with fries, hash browns, or grits. I've only gotten the hash browns, and they are always nice and crisp. They are open till 2 and I prefer their breakfast to any other nearby drive-thru (McDonalds, Bojangles). I think I went inside once... and remember it being kinda grimy... I live behind this location and have called their corporate offices about the fact that this location decides to empty it's trash and grease between 2am-4am every morning. Biscuitville knows that a block of homes reside behind the location and doesn't care that these private services they can have scheduled at different times disturb maybe 14 homes and families. How did I manage to live in Durham for three years before ever trying Biscuitville? Well, I finally went there for breakfast today. I got a bacon egg & cheese on a waffle. I enjoyed the waffle sandwich option as an alternative to a biscuit. The bacon was perfectly crisp, and I liked the maple butter spread. The spread does melt and become drippy when you apply it, which makes the sandwich a little messy to eat. Overall, a delicious breakfast sandwich. read more

So I know that Bradford gave this place a 5 star rating and if I had a dog and they gave my dog a biscuit, that'd be really cool to me and maybe warrant a 4 star...but alas...i have no dog. Anyhow, comparing apples to apples...I compared Bojangles to Biscuitville and compared their signature combos -- Chicken Biscuit + some form of potato. The Chicken biscuit here was inferior to that of Bojangles' unfortunately b/c I did expect more. The fried chicken cutlet here was thin and underseasoned. The crunch was not as satisfying as that at Bojangle's which had a more substantial batter that created more crunchy/crusty nooks and crannies. Fries at Bojangle's are beetter than Fries at Biscuitville. Biscuitville's are actually more like potato wedges. Labeling is key. My batch of wedges here was decently seasoned with some Lawry's seasoned salt. Not as unique as the spice blend used to season the fries at Bojangle's. Had the country fried steak biscuit as well here, which was regrettable. Again underseasoned. The biscuits however were solid. Nothing spectacular for a place with a name that promises much more. *Biscuitville allows you to see the biscuit maker and so that adds an element of authenticity to your meal here that I suppose gives it a leg up over Bojangle's in terms of experience.* read more

On those lazy mornings, when there are no eggs in the house and I don't want to get dressed, Biscuitville is my savior. Usually a dog joins me on my trip to the drive-thru. Dogs are given a biscuit cut into a bone shape (a dog biscuit). How cool! The service is amazingly friendly for a "fast-food" place. The food quality in consistently good. Do you really need a review of Biscuitville? I guess if you are a transplant from up north, you may not be familiar with the deliciousness that is a biscuit from Biscuitville. They just tend to be really good biscuits filled with breakfast stuff that it generally going to add some inches to the belly or hips region. I am currently enjoying the "Ultimate Ham" biscuit, which contains one egg, two slices of cheese and two slices of ham. Yum. Finding the best biscuit in the Triangle is hard, but Durham's Biscuitville give you an easy if distant (from Chapel Hill that is) option! Their biscuits are filling, buttery and cheap, everything you could ask for. Don't be fooled by the "Ultimate" options, the regular options have more than enough meat/protein. If I had one complaint about Biscuitville, aside from its distance from Chapel Hill, the sides are not as good as they are at similar biscuit joints. Just stick to the biscuit and the sweet tea alone and you'll be more than satisfied. Biscuits are a staple food in this part of the country, and Biscuitville should be a great source of pride amongst Carolinians! I wouldn't call it the best, but there is a good selection of biscuits and biscuit accessories here for you to sample. It's affordable too. I like some sort of fried chicken biscuit, or an egg-and-cheese biscuit, but a good deal is the turkey biscuit, which you can get 2 for $2 (or something).
