On my way to Selma, so I stopped at Biscuitville on Business US-70. Was hungry for biscuits covered in good sausage gravy. This Biscuitville did not disappoint. I got the combo so I had cheese grits (the grits were perfect, cheese just added on top for me to mix in) and a large drink. I made hybrid sweet/unsweet tea. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is reminiscent of the Biscuitville on Wake Forrest Road in Raleigh (one of the original). It is bright, inviting, and very clean. The price is very reasonable costing less than $9. There is a 50 cent per egg surcharge right now. But the food, service, and ambiance here, makes for a perfect Carolina breakfast. read more

This was an experience. It was said I needed to add this spot to my list of places to visit, the food was worth it. However, the store was very chaotic and people seemed to be all over. There's a difference between busy vs. chaotic, this was chaotic. We chose to go in to place the order; while waiting to do that, three people complained that their order wasn't correct. There was an additional complaint, from someone who purchased their meal in the store. The man stated he asked for extra ham and made sure to repeat the request, to what ended up happening. Guess what, after stating three times I wanted a combo, my order was wrong. I was done. My order: The chicken sandwich w/ apple butter: The cutlet was cooked perfectly and the apple butter really topped it off, it is something I'd get again. Apple Turnover: When I visit again, I will be sure to get this. It was sooooo good, I enjoyed this more than the breakfast sandwich. This is the best Biscuitville in the Raleigh/Garner/Fuquay area. My order is always correct, when I ask for no butter on my grits, I'm happy to see that there's no butter! New Biscuitville location off of hwy 42, in between Fresenius Kidney Care and Circle K. The parking lot is very clear, store is very clean. We went through the drive-thru and it was not busy yet. They were kind and patient since this was my first time...they addressed us by name when we rode around to pay! The process was quick and they even have dog biscuits at the pick up window too *amazing* However, they forgot a part of our order so we had to turn around and go inside. I'm giving them 3 stars because the service was pretty quick for a mid morning stop, but if I base it on the quality and freshness of the food it would be a two (and that's being generous). It has been awhile since I've eaten at Biscuitville and decided to stop in with the hubby to grab a quick bite. I ordered the turkey sausage with egg and cheese on a English muffin, and the hubby ordered the ultimate bacon egg and cheese biscuit. We both had the combo, and IMO kinda pricey as it was close to $16. He kept saying the bacon was cooked too hard and the biscuit didn't seem freshly baked. My sandwich was just as bad. The turkey sausage had no flavor, the egg was warm and had some crunchy ends and the muffin was chewy and hard in some parts. The only plus was the country fries, which were hot and fresh. So, with that being said if in the area again, we will probably eat breakfast elsewhere. read more

I figured I would stop by for breakfast and eat inside for the second time ever. The line at the register was very long and extended to the back of the restaurant. If I could make one suggestion, it would be for Biscuitville to make a way for the line of customers to wrap a few times in the lobby area (much like a Burger King restaurant). Otherwise, you run the risk of having people hover over you while you eat. All in all, once I was seated, the food was quite tasty. I ordered a sausage platter with grits, eggs, and a biscuit. I especially enjoyed the homemade biscuits, which are made fresh daily. Oh, and if you happen to fall in love with this restaurant, beware of the early closing time. Food isn't good! Service has went down! It's all prepackaged food heated and sold! We had a chicken biscuit that was not eatable. We called the store they apologized and said that was not our order it was for someone else. Like yeah ok! I can't even describe what it looked like as it didn't look like anything we had ever saw before! We live here in Clayton and there are not many choices for food and this will definitely not be one of our going forward! This has really prompted us to cook at home and slow life down. read more

I don't get why we don't have one of these in Goldsboro. Maybe they are trying to save me knowing that if I had constant access to this place, I would gain 15 pounds per week. I am obsessed with their Ultimate Bacon biscuit. It is pure bliss. Loaded with bacon, egg, and cheese with a melt in your mouth biscuit. Today I got TWO biscuits, Ultimate ham, and Ultimate Bacon and I enjoyed every calorie hiding inside. We had a great breakfast here. Heidi was very professional and courteous when she took our order. Our order came out exactly right. We had the biscuit combos, one with country potatoes and one with oatmeal. Both were delicious! I went through the drive thru after church today. There were 10 cars ahead of me, but the line moved rather quickly. I didnt see my favorite item listed on the menu anymore, but when I asked for it they said they still have it. I ordered a chicken club biscuit and it was just as delicious as always! I also added 2 sides of country fries (1 was going home to the hubby). The food temperature was perfect and taste was on point! The employees were friendly as well! My only complaint, and I'm not sure theres really anything that can be done, is that the street was blocked with cars trying to get into the drive thru at dunkin donuts, so cars were blocking each other and people leaving biscuitville couldn't get back out onto the main roads. read more

Pretty sure the best fast food biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Gravy is a nicely peppered semi spicy white sausage gravy. Biscuit tasted very fresh and not like it was under a heat lamp for awhile. Under $4 and only 300 calories according to the menu. read more

Not sure if Kelly is her name, but the short blonde cashier with glasses needs to find a new job. She's miserable and depressing to deal with. I'm done giving her any pleasantries, because she couldn't care less and doesn't speak, other than to rudely give you your total. The manager of this place needs to get her OFF the cashier position. She's an absolute wretch. Anyway, if you can put up with a crowd, this is a fantastic place for breakfast. The coffee could be a bit better, but everything else is good. The staff have good days and bad. There've been times where we were served quickly, and others where we waited for the food for far too long. Hit or miss, I guess. The first time I attempted to go here, it was seriously packed. The drive thru was long, but the line inside looked OK. We stood in line for a few minutes and realized that no one was getting their food. They were THAT busy. Sadly, we ran across the street to Dunkin Donuts. It didn't satisfy because I really wanted more of a breakfast. Take 2. It is true that during the 4th of July, many flock to the coast. We stayed inland and I finally got to try out this place. Thank goodness. You walk in with a staff member kneading dough and making their famous biscuits. I think seeing that is a nice touch. It shows that they're making them fresh. Yum! We got our food relatively fast and I was quite impressed with all that it came with. You got a decent amount of food for a really affodable price. I'm sold! Went there today and drive thru was a backed up to the store front. Not that big a deal as we've been in that line before. So we went inside. The line inside as backed up so far it was into the middle of the restaurant. We got in line and 10 minutes later we moved up 2 customers. We left, as did many others, both in front and behind us. This location used to be fantastic. It didn't matter how busy the place was, your food tasted like it was made fresh, just for you. Well, those days are gone. My husband and I went in last Saturday morning. The biscuits were definitely not fresh - my husband's biscuit literally crumbled into his plate when he tore a piece off, and mine was barely warm by the time I sat down at the table. And the eggs were rubbery. My bacon and grits were good, and the coffee was good. My husband wasn't pleased with anything on his plate. I told him we should go up and ask for a manager, but he didn't want to because the place was busy - and because he knew I was going to be leaving a review here. We came for the delicious looking lunch menu and found out that this particular store hasn't incorporated it yet. So...we ended up eating breakfast stuff for lunch, which wasn't really what I had in mind, but we detoured just to come here (from Baltimore, driving to Charleston, SC). We got the chicken biscuit and the biscuit and gravy. Both were very bland, boring, & very disappointing. The cheesy grits were the most flavourless grits I have EVER had. The only thing I tasted was the cheap shredded cheddar cheese that was plopped on top and still cold. We should have gone to Arby's across the street. read more

This is one of my favorite places to get breakfast. It's also very nostalgic because there was one near my elementary school that my Mom would sometimes stop at to get us breakfast. This location is great and has fast service. I have never had them get my order wrong or mess anything up. The service is generally quick and the food comes out hot. I get a bacon and egg biscuit with their country fries and either orange juice or sprite. Their ham biscuits are great and just the right amount of salty. Their hash browns are also really great. I love the fact that their food isn't as greasy as other places serving almost the same thing. The biscuits here are nice and fluffy. They have a slight crisp to the outside but are in no way hard or crunchy. They are perfect biscuits to me. Overall I highly recommend biscuitville as a breakfast destination no matter if it's breakfast time or not. This location is also great with the service they give. read more

I have to update my previous review to 4*. Service speed has been very quick my last few visits to this location, which included things as diverse as pancake platters with egg and bacon, gravy biscuits and steak and cheese biscuits. All cooked perfectly, all lightning fast, all delicious. Not sure whether they have more staff now, or a more efficient kitchen, but my food flies out the window. I can barely order and pay before I get to the next window, bag waiting. I did see one person waiting this morning, but my guess is that they ordered something potato related. That seems to gum up the works at every other fast food restaurant in the area, though. Big kudos to Biscuitville for updating the consistency and speed of service. read more

Every fast food place has allowed people to get a to go order for months now. Walk in, avoid spending $6 in gas in the drive through walk out with a sack of food. You'd think being open until 2 they'd want as much business as possible. The vehicles full of people are fine waiting in line but I only want a couple biscuits. There are dirtier people going inside bojangles. Plus that place had people with covid working there. I'll throw on a mask if I can order a couple biscuits and not have to wait out on 70 for 45 minutes to an hour. read more

This is not fast food. Don't let the drive-in fool you, or the cashiers inside ready to take your order, or the fact that they hand the food to you over a counter. It's food alright, but it ain't fast. I'm not totally sure what the problem is, I'm sure it doesn't help that the cashiers stand around like loose thumbs when there are no customer to serve instead of helping out, but surely that can't be the entire problem? I have twice walked out of this location after a 15 minute wait without my food, because I had to be somewhere and I just couldn't wait any longer. Fool me once, well I'll give you another chance apparently, but not even I'm dumb enough to go for it a third time. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the road, so if what you want is coffee you're good to go (and please, get the app and order ahead, otherwise you'll stand behind a family of four playing "pick the donut"). If you want food, well yeh, Dunkin Donuts not so much. However - half a block up the road is a Bojangles, so if you want a biscuit sandwich they are at least as good (some might argue better) and they're quick. If you have plenty of time to spare, you want a sit down dine-in location where you order up front and pick-up your own food, and you want some of the items other "fast food" locations don't offer then sure - go for it - but emphasis on the time to spare. If you meet all those criteria there's a diner across the street - go there and save yourself the hassle. read more

I'm highly disappointed and disgusted with the service that I received at this particular Biscuitville location. I say that in large because there was no line upon my entering the facility. Despite that, it took approximately four minutes before I was even acknowledged while I stood there waiting to place my order. I was simply told that someone would be with me shortly to which I said okay. A black lady finally came over from the drive through to take my order appropriately two minutes later. She did so without greeting me or apologizing for the extended wait. I was flabbergasted by the time that it took to get service because there were only five cars in the drive through at the time. Moving along, two Caucasian men entered not long after I finished placing my order. An Indian gentleman that was working in the back came up to help immediately upon seeing them in line to take their order. I was flabbergasted by the variance in service levels especially given that I was barely acknowledged upon receiving my food. But not only that, I wasn't invited to come again. Keeping all of that in mind, I don't want to say that the difference in service levels was based on race but it leaves me to ponder if that's the difference. While I'm doing so, I'll refrain from visiting this location in the future in favor of Bojangles or Dunkin Donuts and I'd encourage others to do the same particularly minorities. read more
