The staff here was lovely. The cashier wasn't phased by us not knowing what pimento cheese was. She gave us a sample, and we immediately added it to our order! (I have since learned pimento cheese is well-known and a staple in some areas.) I have no idea how Biscuitville's version compares to homemade, but it was fantastic! The grits and hashbrowns were standard, but good. The biscuit was very tasty, too. It was neat being able to see the kitchen/dough mixing station, too. Biscuitville is hit or Miss at this location. One issue that is beyond their control is traffic--the parking lot and drive through cannot account for the traffic during the busy hours. Your best bet is to park next door and walk over. The service has never been an issue for me. The staff is kind and accommodating--my favorite is the lady at the money window during the week. She goes above and beyond! My order at Biscuitville has been the same forever. I am not a fan of floppy bacon so I get a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit with crispy bacon. The request is sometimes honored and sometimes completely ignored which can be frustrating. Same thing with their drinks--the ice is almost always to the top of the cup, meaning the liquid inside the cup is minimal. On my most recent visit, which this review is based off of, I asked for my biscuit with crispy bacon and a drink with light ice. Neither request was granted--my bacon was floppier than a disk in the 90s and my soda had ice all the way to the lid. It's okay if you cannot accommodate these request but let the consumer know ahead of time so they can adjust their decisions. read more

We had country ham biscuits. It's really nice that the ham is sliced on the thin side so it's easy to take a bite! And, they use a nice country ham. The biscuits, however, were a bit "gluey" and dense .., perhaps underdone? Not flakey or light at all, which is a personal preference. Also, the sweet tea is really good. We got a spicy honey chicken biscuit just to taste, because we had one at a Wendy's a while back, and it wasn't good at all. We weren't too impressed with this one either. The chicken was soggy, not crisply fried... perhaps sitting out a while? It was only marginally spicy, and had very little honey. I wouldn't recommend the spicy chicken biscuit. Service isn't at all friendly, but the drive thru is quick. And, count your change. I was short changed $2. read more

Nearly always consistently good, sometimes great. I remember stopping here nearly every day on the way to work in the evenings back in the early eighties, wish they still had those hours. I also remember their hash browns being 5" long instead of the egg shaped lil dinky patty they have now. Oh well, times change, and not always for the better. read more

I got the spicy chicken biscuit. I actually liked the biscuit here. I actually don't like it when the biscuits are too buttery or greasy. I was able to taste the biscuit without an overwhelming butter flavor. It was cool to be able to watch them make and roll biscuits out in front of you. read more

I grew up with Biscuitville up the street, around the corner so when traveling there was one off the exit...*on two wheels the car turns off the exit into the parking lot*. I was so excited to get a waffle sandwich. My mom introduced me to it last year, and its memory had me salivating to have one this time. To my dismay it didn't meet my expectations. The waffle wasn't fresh, it seemed as if it had been sitting under the light to stay warm, but not hot, fresh. The cinamom butter they give youto compliment the waffle didn't even melt. I made the staff aware that it was cold and stale. They were nice, for the most part, made me another, and it still didn't meet my first reaction of eyes closed, "umm, umm good", moment. At that point I realized they weren't going to give me a freshly made waffle and either I ask for a biscuit or get a refund. Because I have a thing for not wasting food, I sucked it up and ate the disappointment. I was sad but the sweet tea helped to balance my emotions. read more

I was excited to jump on the biscuit train during my vacation in NC, but was not impressed by Biscuitville. DRY DRY biscuit!! Go to Biscuit Co. down the road alil farther. However i kept a biscuit for awhile in my golf cart and was still good several hours later, good or bad??? it was great while starving in the hot sun. read more

Still a 1 star rating for me. They still have the sign outside in the drive-thru stating they are making the experience faster. Having someone outside taking orders doesn't have the experience faster when the process preparing the food is just as slow. Go to Biscuit-Company or Chick-fil-a when they reopen on 11/09. read more

When in town, this is my go to place for biscuit sandwiches. Usually sausage, egg and cheese. Sometimes a steak biscuit. Made in sight and always fresh. Good service and friendly people. I will go out of my way to come here. Never had a bad meal experience. read more
