Panera prices, without the Panera taste! If you like bland, mushy food, this is the place for you! Its called salt, and they should probably put some in the kitchen. Service wasn't bad, but the food was. I had the Avocado Toast, which was soggy and somehow bland. The basted eggs were, you guessed it, bland. With a heavy dose of salt and pepper it was edible, but I certainly wouldn't say two pieces of soggy avocado toast and two basted eggs was worth $9.50. We also had a $5 doughy and bland cinnamon roll which was covered in a fairly sweet, but bland cream cheese icing. She had the breakfast burrito with ham ($12), which had a lot of grizzle in it, barely any egg, and wasn't toasted on the flat top after being assembled. The food is above average but the management brings the score way down. I walked in today and they had the poor busser girl also sitting all of the guests and she was also in charge of running the cash register at the front because they don't allow you to pay from your table. So I waited both to be seated and to pay because the busser girl was busy handling all her other roles. The manager ended up sitting me and ringing me up because she was so happy. Maybe not hanging out in the kitchen so much would be better? They seem to have an emphasis on getting the food out quick which is probably why the manager is in there a lot but if it's not hot and you have to wait to get seated, wait for your server to bring your receipt so you can wait at the counter doesn't seem to be a receipe for success. read more

Went here back on Easter 2018 and just got around to reviewing but I it was great! My boyfriend and I were in the area, looked on Yelp for a place to eat and stopped in. Worried about it being packed we tried anyway. It was packed but we sat down within 10 minutes and was waited upon fast. They were pretty efficient and quick to get the food out. The food was really good and the service was too. He had a Denver omelet and he ate the whole thing and it was huge. I usually order Corned Beef and Hash at breakfast restaurants because it is not something you get at home and I love it. This place set the bar for my favorite breakfast food. This place made it from scratch, tender shredded corned beef and fresh chopped potatoes and eggs over easy, just right. I was expecting the stuff out of the can! And it was so much food I could not eat it all, took some home and ate it for lunch. My boyfriend was still full from his breakfast he skipped lunch. There are other locations but none nearby me but next time I'm in the area of one it definitely will be my top choice for good grub. read more

We had lunch here for the first time Tuesday. I was dispointed there were no booths only tables. Our server took a while to come by but was very friendly. I ordered the Breakfast burrito and my bf got the meat lovers omelette. My burrito was great, kinda small. The meat lovers omelette had the cheese on top off the omelette rather than inside wich was weird and left it kinda dry. We never got our water refilled and waited a very long time to get the check. I'm on vacation in Phoenix and I've been here everyday. The food is so good! I get the joes scramble. They're so good about substitutions and happily accommodate to almost any dietary need. I exchanged my eggs for egg whites and the bacon in the scramble for turkey bacon. The manager, Zach greeted me every day and was very attentive! Oh and the biscuits! I had 4 biscuits everyday. Also, no other breakfast restaurant I've been to has better jam. Their strawberry and Marion berry jam is incredible. Not your average smuckers packets. Anyway, 5 out of 5 stars. First off, I've never written a bad review. I use my reviews to praise exceptional meals and experiences. But this morning, I couldn't help it. My sister and I came in and I ordered the avocado Benedict with spinach and she ordered a la carte poached eggs, avocado, and an English muffin. My Benedict was sopping in egg yolk because the eggs weren't poached properly, the spinach was raw and the hash browns were just shredded raw potatoes hidden deceivingly under a crisp top. My sister's avocado was too hard to enjoy, and her English muffin was burnt. Ps- they charged $8.49 for her meal. She also got one poached egg and one broken egg sitting in yolk on her plate. Our server was nice and accommodating but never asked why weren't eating our meals. We tipped more than appropriately knowing the food was not our servers fault, but we won't be going back. read more

My husband mom and I just left there from lunch, we didn't even get drinks. We were sat in a corner with our menus, and the hostess left never telling us who are server was. We were sitting there for over 8 minutes and watched other people get silverware and drinks who arrived after us. We had our whole meal planned out when we decided it was time to leave empty handed, a waitress made eye contact with us and completely ignored that we were leaving with out being waited on at all, instead she turned away from us to greet a new costumer and to wait on them instead. It wasn't until I said we were leaving because the lack of wait staff did she actually acknowledge us, saying that they would do something for us. But by that time it was too late to rectify the situation and we walked to a different resturant where we were almost instantly waited on. read more

On a whim, decided to stop at Biscuits Cafe in Glendale after running errands and because they have a dog friendly patio. Shortly after sitting down, we noticed a few bees. No biggie, we're tough, and the world needs bees... After 20 min of waiting for food and dodging bees, the waitress offers us a table on the other side of the patio where there are "less bees", so we decide to move. Apparently, they had the patio treated but couldn't find the source!!! (Maybe, I don't know.... give people a heads up before you seat them there?!) Out comes our food, and we are literally swarmed with 10-15 bees at least. In our food, on our food, going at the dogs... I rush the dogs to the car while My husband tracks down someone to get our check and box what food hasn't had bees in it. They comp our coffees for the "inconvenience" and ask him how the food was. To which, he replies, "I have no idea, we were too busy running away from the bees". They chuckle and charge us anyway. So irritated! Not only is it an inconvenience; It's not safe! It only takes one experience to ruin one of your goto breakfast spots. The signs where evident everywhere. First, we were seated without napkins or silverware. We didn't receive any until we asked, sometime later after receiving our drinks and having our order taken. Our waitress made it seem like it was a burden to be of any service to us and maintained a foul attitude the entire visit. After about 25 minutes of placing our order we were told "there was glitch in the system" and somehow there wasn't a ticket in for our food. We stayed and chalked the error up to "things happen" and decided to wait as we had I visited so many times already. We were delighted when our food finally did arrive and all the prior transgressions were forgiven. That was until a hair was found in our French Toast. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Cinnamon roll was a 5"x5" sheet baked goods smothered with melted frosting that surpassed my calarie intake lit for today & tomorrow. O just wish they offered it with nuts and raisons for texture variation.pruces exceed all of the other breakfast serving restaurants by at least 15% which were comparable to a 4-star resort, minus the ambiance. Its relatively easy to double check a bag, and make sure all condiments are in the to go bag. I'm not sure why it's hard for this place to do that. Just want some syrup with pancakes. 2nd time I have ordered door dash from this place. I missing one of my items and condiments. I'm not sure why this is rocket science. It's real easy before you handover the bag to the Dasher to just do a quick double check. Maybe the manager needs to train it's employees on bag checks. Hopefully if you go there to eat it's fine. I ordered the chicken apple sausage breakfast. It came with hash browns, two fried eggs and biscuits. I specifically requested my eggs over medium, the white done and the yolk still runny. My breakfast came out lightening fast, the sausage was so cold it almost tasted frozen in the middle, and had no flavor. My eggs were not cooked as requested, the white was so runny I couldn't even attempt to salvage a portion of them. The biscuits were so cold and dry even the butter and delicious jam couldn't save them. I would never go to this restaurant again nor would I ever recommend it. Just got back from Biscuits Café in Surprise, AZ. Great breakfast and decent menu. Big mugs of flavorful coffee and nice friendly service! I had the Almond crusted French toast and it was very good. My egg was done just the way I like it, but I didn't care of the sausage patty(I've tasted better). My husband had the Greek Omelet and commented that it had great flavor and was the best he'd eaten in a long time. The atmosphere is simple but inviting. UPDATE: Since posting this 5 star review about a year ago, I can say that Biscuits has steadily declined in both service and quality. I've been back multiple times, and it's always hit or miss with servers. Some are in a great mood and on top of their game... while others have poor hygiene, are rude, careless, and really don't care if you're happy with your meal or not. The last few times i've been in, they do not honor the $5 coupons which are sent to email for discounts (birthday, anniversary etc) even if they are not expired or have not been used. The cashier will say "I can't find it in the system", although I received an email from Biscuits they day prior (timestamped) advertising a $5 coupon. When asking how this can happen, the cashier simply shrugs and says "I don't know"... well, that's unacceptable. This morning I got breakfast to go- my usual chicken fried steak. The final straw with Biscuits (hence the updated review), they didn't include ANY gravy in my chicken fried steak meal (which included biscuits and gravy WITH NO GRAVY), eggs were cold and rubbery, potatoes slimy. Not impressed- it's unfortunate an establishment can have such a rapid decline in less than a year. This definitely explains why their competitors always have a line out the door, while Biscuits line has diminished. read more

This is one of the most disappointing restaurants. I have been here several times, and it is never a good experience, however this last visit prompted my review. We were seated outside, which would have been fine if we had seen our server regularly (We did not). I had to go inside to ask for more water and coffee while we waited for our food. Coffee was served with lipstick on the mug and a hair in the coffee mug. The food was OK. After we ate, my plate was never picked up, and while we finished our conversation with our friends, we were never offered more coffee or water. I had the spicy chorizo omelette and my husband had the country omelette. Was very pleased to see chipotle tobasco on the table along with several other sauces. This lil quaint place is good. They serve big portions. I had the almond crusted French Toast. It comes with eggs and bacon. I couldn't finish it, that's how much food it was... I would say if you have a sweet craving it's a really good choice to get, however, it was overload sweet for my tastebuds today... would def come back to try the biscuit since I got too full and the place prided themselves their biscuits hence the name Biscuits Cafe. read more

They were extremely busy both times and this past weekend we had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat but that's not unusual at many popular restaurants during high traffic times.
