¡¡¡ME GUSTA!!! I…read morelove this place. It provides me a little taste of my hometown eats in San Diego. Don't be deceived by it's divey type food truck conditions. Everything that is prepared in this truck is of the best quality. I am particularly fond of the Super Burrito with chicken sans lettuce. First, leave the lettuce out of a burrito. No one likes hot lettuce. It's gross. Once you do that, you get their fresh pico de gallo, cilantro, beans, cheese, sour cream, and your meat of choice. Go with the chicken, I promise you will not regret it. I've eaten at this truck a few times now and it never disappoints. Super moist and flavorful, just melts in your mouth. I went for lunch and had to wait 20 minutes for my food, so definitely pack your patience if there's a line. Well worth it though! Also props to them for rockin the Mexican Coca Cola. Also note, their hours are a little funky, 10am - 7pm Mon-Fri and 10am - 4pm Saturday. I feel that Saturday was added recently, which is much appreciated! You can also call in your order in advance. **CASH ONLY**

The carne asada was delicious...flavorful and tender. Carnitas was good...not as tender, but very flavorful. These are street tacos so order several if you are hungry :). The tortillas were soft and very yummy. We saw a burrito from another order...huge!! Staff was friendly, service was fast. Ample outdoor seating was available...right on Main St so a little traffic noise, but it was fine with the food truck corner vibe. I wish they had tortilla chips!

Only a couple radishes with a tiny squirt of Avocado Salsa. Seriously?! Not worth $5...The two tacos my husband ate, he gave it a 5 out of 10. Unfortunately, there was a small piece of fat with the Carne Asada...Not sure why they think that would taste good! The tacos were on special for $2.17 each on Taco Tuesday. Not bad for that price. However, we have had way better Tacos and I can't say much for the Mulita. I will have to pass on this one.

The Taco Dudes do birria style tacos. If you've never had birria tacos before, you have to try them! The taco had some Oaxaca cheese and a good amount of meat in it. I thought they are okay, the meat and taco didn't have much flavor on its own. The two salsas that came on top of the taco and the pickled onions made it very delicious! Those pickled onions were spot on. The consommé didn't have much depth of flavor in it, unfortunately it tasted like salt and water. The rice and beans that came with the plate was another favorite! Overall, the tacos were not too greasy, there's decent portions and their rice, beans and pickled onions are delicious. They offer other menu items as well besides the tacos.

8.5 /10 first experience…read more I usually don't divulge to PNW folks that I'm from CA lol but for this review it has to be known. Anyway Mexican food up here in the PNW is trash. It's not authentic by any means. I feel like they just cater to the demographic. I was in BG area and actually had cash on me so I pulled over to give them a try. This is the first spot that I've found to even be on the radar with back home quality. 1) they lightly toasted the the tortilla. 2) the meat was cut on the bias, thin, tender and full of flavor!! If they let it crisp up just a little more it would be next level. 3) they used real avocado slices not that nasty premade spread that has vinegar to preserve the color. Overall my burrito was delicious and it was filled great, equal beans/rice/meat ratio. Ps i ordered it without lettuce. I will absolutely be coming back to try tacos and other items. Review for salsas: I tried one of each (habanero, red and green). My favorite was the verde. It's the most flavorful. I usually like hot, hot, but won't compromise flavor. I would stick to the verde no matter what I order. I like that there's grassy patches. While I was waiting I was able to let my dog stretch her legs until the buzzer went off. The lady in the food truck was helpful and told me they have habanero as an option.

The food is glorious. And it was packaged so nicely and attractively! Plenty of limes on the side even though we didn't request additionals. I had the Tres Quesobirria tacos and each was so packed with delicious beef! The bouillon was incredibly flavorful. I could only eat one, but one of my guests had one of mine and liked it very much. I had the last one just heated in the microwave the next day and it was almost as good as the first day. My husband and another guest both had the carne asada tacos and liked them. My husband is picky so I was relieved that he was satisfied - he actually used the words "really good" which sort of amazed me. Another guest had the chicken taco salad which was generously adorned with probably an entire avocado, and quite a lot of chicken. It was artfully prepared. Sides of rice and beans were even special; tasty and appreciated. I will be making a trip to La Catrina in person sometime very soon.
