Katsu Ramen - Tempura Shrimp Onigiri

We are frequent visitors to Katsu Ramen, which for us, means at least once every couple of months…read more We've been fans of this restaurant even since it opened many years ago now, because there really is no contest for the most reliable, authentic ramen in Colorado. The chef is from Osaka and the owners from Japan. Their broth cooks for the 13 hours any decent ramen broth should, and the quality of their ingredients, from noodles to chashu pork to eggs (I always get an extra egg), is top tier. We often get onigiri, karaage, agedashi tofu, gyoza, or edamame to accompany our ramen. If you're not a fan of ramen, they also offer poke bowls, rice bowls, and other options. There's even a vegetarian ramen option, which is rare to find, and much appreciated by two of my vegetarian friends. The oldest photo I've attached is from 2016, the newest from 2026. They've always been this consistently good. Service has always been super fast and attentive. It feels the closest to stepping into a ramen shop in Japan I've ever gotten this side of the Pacific Ocean. From the decor to the anime figures and manga on the shelves, to the Japanese TV programming, it's always very authentic vibes. Katsu Ramen deserves all the hype it gets. We've never been disappointed by a meal here, whether dining in or doordashed (when we're lazy). I used to come here from Estes Park 1.5 hours away, Golden 45 min away, and now I'm lucky to live in Aurora and get to enjoy Katsu Ramen much more regularly. It's worth it every time.

We didn't wait long, less that 30 minutes and it was worth every second. I got the black garlic tonkotsu that was some of the best I've had in some time and an order of Karaage and pork gyoza. The Karaage was fantastic but the gyoza was lacking, falling apart at the seam upon contact with the chop sticks making then very hard to eat. Flavor was ok, not the best gyoza I've had by far. The interior was well decorated with a bustling high energy atmosphere. Service was good with friendly wait staff. Upon entry you sign in on a touch pad to secure your place in line and when your number is up you get a confirmation text. When seated you are given a check sheet with entree and other dining options to check off with the provided table pencils. A server comes by to collect the sheet verifing your chosen options and then fairly quickly your meal arrives. Parking here is a joke, especially in peak business hours. Get an Uber or Lyft would be my recommendation. Overall the Ramen was so good any negatives fall to the way side and if I lived in Denver this would be in heavy rotation routine wise.

We also ordered sushi, gyozas, a lychee fresh (which was SO good!), and one of their specialty desserts that's made by a local pastry chef. It isn't part of their regular menu, but if they have it when you visit, don't skip it. It was absolutely worth it. The restaurant has a cozy, traditional Asian atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel really authentic. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and the service was great from start to finish. Overall, everything we tried was delicious, and I'd definitely come back. Whether you're planning a date night, dinner with friends, or just craving good Asian food, this place is 100% worth checking out

Like $50-80 per person expensive. Some people might look at my chain of reviews and think I'm stingy and cheap. But I don't mind paying top dollar for extraordinary experiences. I do criticize those that don't deliver value for what you pay though, and I feel that is the case at Leezakaya. The ambiance and service are both top tier. Very cool vibes and attentive servers. This is a place I would consider going as a treat, or for a fancy-ish date night. Otherwise, it's hard to justify the price when there's much cheaper sushi that's almost as good to be enjoyed around here.

This continues to be one of my favorite ramen spots. We stopped in today while running errands in…read morethe area. We tried the gyoza on this visit. They were fried a little crispier than what I usually see. I thought they were tasty. The dipping sauce was excellent. Spicy Beef Noodles was a new menu item and I tried it. I quite enjoyed the dish. It was very flavorful with a soft-boiled egg (I added a second one), corn, scallions, sesame seeds, fried onions, and spiced beef. The presentation of the dish was beautiful and colorful with a section for each component on top of the noodles, surrounding the eggs. The items blended nicely as I mixed them together. A very satisfactory version of this dish. The ground beef really mixed the meat flavor throughout the dish and was much easier to eat than the usual chunks of beef. My girlfriend tried the Creamy Vegan Ramen with chili oil, butter corn, baby spinach, bean sprouts, fried onions, and scallions. It came with a vegan "meat" and broth. It was reasonably spicy, but she felt it was under seasoned. A new addition was a couple of large computer screens on which to order and pay. These provided large pictures of each dish and were easy to use. The staff remained their usual helpful and friendly selves.

Ordering was a bit confusing at first. When you order, you have to use a kiosk to choose what you want, which is the easy part. They have a lot of choices all categorized in an easy-to-read format. The confusing part is making sure you pick a table number and noting it on the kiosk at the last stage of ordering before you pay. The food was delivered quickly and it was delicious! I had the Vegan Ramen with the black garlic broth and it was a tasty combination. The gyoza was also fairly good as well. I was happy to visit for my birthday and look forward to visiting this place again!

Even though USA Today and Yelp have…read moreshown Urban Burma a lot of love over the years, it's still a true hidden gem because of its location in Mango House. This is not a fancy place. It's a near-cafeteria like vibe served to you with the biggest smiles and friendly service (one of the owners Siri is awesome). This is all about the food, and while you'll get the tea leaf salad by default, make sure to get the Shan noodles and the paratha too if you want some flavor variety. If you haven't had a lot of Burmese food in your life, just ask whoever is working for help. The surrounding neighborhood can look a little rough around the edges, but don't let that deter you. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Burmese food, this place is absolutely worth checking out. We'll definitely be back!

Located in the skirt of Parker Road, Tasty…read morePot is both unique than most other hotpot places as they have so much variety in the Menu, ranging from in house Milk Teas and Slushies, Rize plates Skillets with a huge variety of protein choices, and of course their Hot Pots Specialties! HUGE HUGE SELECTION! Im not excactly sure which cuisine it is at first, I believe Taiwanese? Ive picked up some dishes were vietnamese too, like they had Bo Ne, but we didnt end up ordering it, we definetely will have to next time!! Place wasnt too busy and we were greated right away and seated. Everything was clean and organized, we were given I believed iced jasmine or black tea instead of water which was new but in a good way! It was a delicious drink! Will take a picture of the mnu next time, but everything is explained well and the me u is easy to read as well. You can easily chiose your soice level as well as any allergies you might have. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and made sure to ask us how we prefered everything and made good recommendations.Service was quick and friendly and we were checked in regularly! We ordered: "Popcorn Chicken" 3/5 NOT a huge fan of popcorn chicken at all as I always find it dry and wasnt my choice of order but I was suprised! Its a lot more moist and fresh than I thought and the sauce that came with it really complimented the dish! HUGE PORTION TOO!!! Will definetely order next time as well! "Lemongrass Beef Sizzling Ribs" 5/5 This was my most favorite dish, it came in pipping hot and sizzling on a hot skillet! Our server did table service and mixed it for us nicely to enjoy, kind if reminds me of Gyukakus beef rib rice dish as well! The meat is nice and tender, marinated and grilled to perfection. The fried rice mixed with the cheese and onions were perfect combinated with the meat. Its insanely delicious and if you havent ordered it, youre respectfully insane. "Tonkatsu" 4.5/5 There are so many options to their hotpots but we decided to stay basic, we will definetely try the other broths next time! The broth was insanely delicious! Each hotpots come with plenty proteins/veggies. Ours came with lettuce, different tofus, sliced beef, ?fish cake?, immation crab, clams, and more. We have also ordered Taro Milk Tea and Strawberry Creme at the end which tasted so fresh and delicious. It definetely wasnt too sweet, it was just perfect. Im glad we saved room for the drinks hehe. Price was fair for all the food we ordered, everything had good portions and we could even share one main dish perfectly. Tasty Pot offers hearth, fresh, and insanely delicious food with great service! Do not be alarmed if you are not too familiar with cuisine as the staff will help you out and make good recommendations! Will definetely be coming back regularly!
