Very impressed with the variety and cost of their products. Online ordering has been a breeze. Will see once I receive the plants!

This is located off of Piraeus Street that runs along the Northbound 5fwy. We entered Piraeus from Leucadia Boulevard. The commercial entrance came up first, then the regular customer entrance, thanks to their clear signs. It was mid-afternoon on a Thursday in January, so maybe that's why the nursery lot was kind of empty the further we went in. At the front area though, there were poinsettia trees still in bloom. I didn't even know that they can grow into trees (they don't last very long after the holidays in my care, lol), so I was actually fascinated to see them so big. They also had a fenced area with 2 small goats, possibly pygmy goats...so cute and friendly. Considering the cold weather, they had a good selection of healthy cacti, potted flowers and plants at reasonable prices (i.e., 4" pot of succulent $5.99, 6pk annuals/perennials $4.99). The bigger shrubs like hydrangea and hebe coed were more expensive ($26.99 and $28.99, respectively), but beautifully kept. We had no plans to garden any time soon so didn't plan on buying anything, but ended up getting some plant accessories, including a car-shaped ceramic planter that kiddo really liked, lol. Service was okay. We were the only ones there and took our time browsing, but no one asked if we needed help. The woman at the cash register wasn't rude, but not particularly friendly either.

It's a nice cafe in Solana Beach. The service is amazing and their specialty Lattes are what I go for. I enjoy the French and Brazilian cafe music they play in the background. I enjoyed the coastal breeze. While you sip and enjoy a treat you can perhaps play tic tac toe and or other games on the front patio/ picket fenced in yard. Super cute place! The Lattes I go for are The Gardener (lavender, honey, vanilla) and The Farmer(vanilla and brown sugar). Made with organic espresso and love. We've even enjoyed visiting the bunnies for 22$ per person (plus tip if you'd like too) gives you about 20-30 minutes of interaction with the bunnies. You sign a waiver with the host and they'll give you instructions on the rules. You might even get to feed them too. I loved it so much! I grew up with bunnies as pets so this was soooo nostalgic for me! Come and support this family owned business and perhaps pet a bunny. You'll like it a lotte! *they do have a handwashing station too. In case you are wondering about that.

Came in for a coffee, accidentally enrolled in a masterclass on How Not to Order Coffee…read more I ordered a cappuccino and asked for it iced. Apparently this was a deeply offensive request, because I was immediately informed, "So really you just want a short latte," followed by a staff discussion about how people don't know how to order coffee. Then, while I was simply standing there waiting for the drink I had paid for, they started making comments about me waiting. Truly fascinating. I didn't realize there was also a correct and incorrect way to stand near a coffee counter. Eventually they wrote "cap" on my cup and called it out, so I grabbed it and said, "Thanks for my short latte." For a place serving coffee, they somehow managed to make ordering one feel like an oral exam I had failed. If you enjoy being lightly bullied by your barista over espresso terminology, this may be your spot. I personally will be getting my incorrectly named beverages elsewhere.

A special thank you to Codie and the entire landscaping crew - truly are the best services I have ever had done with my home. Codie took the time to understand exactly what I was trying to accomplish with my backyard and made sure every detail was handled correctly. The landscaping crew was equally impressive--professional, hardworking, respectful of my property, and incredibly meticulous with the placement and installation of every plant. You could tell they genuinely cared about how the finished project looked, not simply about getting the job done. The end result exceeded my expectations. They helped transform my backyard into something I had envisioned for a long time, and seeing it finally come together has been incredibly rewarding. They truly helped make my backyard a dream. I sincerely appreciate Codie and the entire Moon Valley team for the pride they took in my project and the quality of service they provided. When someone treats your home and landscaping as if it were their own, that deserves recognition. For anyone in San Diego looking for professional nursery, planting, or landscape installation services, I would recommend Moon Valley Nurseries without hesitation. Based on my experience, Codie and this team set the standard for what professional landscaping service should look like. Thank you again, Codie and crew, for an outstanding job and for helping turn my vision into reality.

Instead, a salesperson claiming to be a landscape designer aggressively misrepresented what a 'DigAlert' ticket covers. He claimed running their own report after I described one already done by 811, granted them authority to plant seven large tree root systems directly inside a high-voltage and high-pressure natural gas public utility corridor, in direct violation of San Diego Municipal Code safety separation buffers TREE PLANTING AND STAKING SDL-101ATTACHMENT 13. https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/legacy/publicworks/pdf/edocref/standarddraw/2015standarddrawings/sdl/sdl-101.pdf. This "landscape designer" sugggested that Palo Verdes were the best trees and that they had zero root problems that may interfere with the FIVE underground utilities running on my property that included gas, electric, drainage, AT&T, and Charter Communications. Quite the contrary: Palo Verdes grow up to 25 feet wide and just as tall. My lot is 5500 sf in a tract home community that sits on an easement as a major public right of way. This predatory trade practice shifts massive structural liability onto an unsuspecting homeowner and his outright lies just to get a sale were outright shameful. STAY AWAY from dishonest businesses like this. I called Anderson Nursery right after and they said they've never tell a homeowner to do such absurd thing. Obviously.
