Instead, a salesperson claiming to be a landscape designer aggressively misrepresented what a 'DigAlert' ticket covers. He claimed running their own report after I described one already done by 811, granted them authority to plant seven large tree root systems directly inside a high-voltage and high-pressure natural gas public utility corridor, in direct violation of San Diego Municipal Code safety separation buffers TREE PLANTING AND STAKING SDL-101ATTACHMENT 13. https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/legacy/publicworks/pdf/edocref/standarddraw/2015standarddrawings/sdl/sdl-101.pdf. This "landscape designer" sugggested that Palo Verdes were the best trees and that they had zero root problems that may interfere with the FIVE underground utilities running on my property that included gas, electric, drainage, AT&T, and Charter Communications. Quite the contrary: Palo Verdes grow up to 25 feet wide and just as tall. My lot is 5500 sf in a tract home community that sits on an easement as a major public right of way. This predatory trade practice shifts massive structural liability onto an unsuspecting homeowner and his outright lies just to get a sale were outright shameful. WOW! Edwardo, Angel and Juan spent the day in our yard and it looks amazing! I am SO happy with their work today! About 14 years ago we over planted (18) young pine trees and over the years they became a tangled mess with old and new growth. These three men not only trimmed and thinned our 18 pine trees in they removed existing pine needles from our 15 ft sandbox and it looks clean and beautiful, ready for our grandkids to come back and play without the pine needles. ALL trimmings were removed from our yard! I was expecting to clean up a little after having workers in my yard with a huge job like this, but I was pleasantly surprised and very grateful for their great work ethic. At the completion of their job there is nothing for me to "have to clean up" after them. We had a few other fruit trees and pygmy pines that needed some attention and nutrient injections to help them thrive because of our clay soil. What a great day! read more

After waiting a month for Luis' team to come over and plant our purple duranta and hydrangeas they ended up digging and breaking our new sprinkler line which caused a flood in the front of the house. They informed us they wouldn't be able to have someone come in and fix the line for over a week and if our gardener can take care of it they would happily reimburse us. It's been almost 3 months of them receiving the invoice of only $220 and they keep telling us they will call us back or have a manager call us at the end of day and still no one has taken the time to do so. We are ready to plant some more but will definitely be going with a different nursery that keeps their word and is more reliable. read more

On this day, a friendly associate didn't have a problem helping us without an appointment. Unfortunately, she recommended too many products for the plants I bought and I ended up with a surplus of potting soil and mulch that I now have to store! She also hesitated to give me an itemized receipt after first saying she could reprint one. She even asked why I wanted a receipt. I should have just told her the truth. I wanted to make sure I wasn't charged incorrectly as my bill was almost $500. Instead I told her I wanted to know the names of the plants I bought, she told me they were on the containers. I should have insisted on receiving a receipt. I also should have questioned why I needed so much soil if she said to plant them with some of the native soil. Well, I had nothing but good things to say about these folks until I actually met them on site. Two people came out to my home and I guess they just want commercial jobs. Gave a list of 10 trees and some shrubs I thought that would be worth the time. I needed a giant stump removed and some tree trimming which he admitted, wasn't their specialty. I was interested in the warranty they had to offer and any irrigation upgrades. After calling me relentlessly for months. Nobody got back to me crickets. Tried calling them. They have a lot of wonderful trees on site. Apparently they have separation anxiety. I can't recommend these guys. Money wasn't an issue. I just didn't want my trees to die so was interested in somebody who knew what they were doing. They must get paid on quotes rather than sales. Sorry, went elsewhere. read more

He even came out to our house to refine the tree size needed, as the one we initially picked out would have overwhelmed the spot. When it came to installation, Clainer and his crew were amazing!!! Hired by our HOA for palm tree trimming which they seem to be doing an okay job at but in the process of cleaning up the trash from it they completely destroyed a little garden a neighbor and I planted and enjoyed watching grow.
