Nine times out of 10 there will be issues with new things. I believe that Upgrade Labs Corporate needs to develop more on roll outs more so than the local ownership. I believe there was alot of excitement in getting it started and I think things that were out of the control of the local owner deeply frustrated him. He shared some of those experiences with me and offered to "make it right" every time I am aware of. This is like any typical business, getting good staff in this "new world" is challenging. Getting people trained and retaining them can be tough. I have had issues with staff not being friendly, and I spoke to management about it, and I can see the change. I think your approach to an issue goes a long way. I have found the management to be very engaging and willing to work with me through many of the same problems the others spoke of. As far as the technology and the treatments, I believe in them 100% and am super glad "lil ole CdA" has an Upgrade Labs. I read-up and checked out all of the highly reviewed trainers in town, but found most of them either had inconsistent customer feedback or didn't really focus on weightlifting.... Biju is different and not only looked the part but has also demonstrated over the course of ~20 workouts a deep knowledge of each muscle group, which movements target each specific muscles, and how to get the most gains out of workouts. I'm impressed by the physical changes of my body over a short time and how no two workouts are ever the same. Each session is one hour and targets two muscle groups (back/biceps, chest/triceps, and shoulders/legs). I also appreciated that he doesn't focus on any injury prone / dangerous movements as past trainers have had me do exercises that inevitably lead to a hurt back etc. which put me out of action for several weeks. I highly recommend Biju and you won't find a better trainer in Spokane if you want to focus on building muscle. His prices are also very reasonable and they are a well run family business.

This isn't your typical gym where you just go to work out--it's a place where you go to genuinely become a better person. Even with a full gym, the experience feels personal, like you're getting one-on-one support. KJay is always smiling and so encouraging, which makes a huge difference. I've only been part of the SCE family for less than a month, but it's already completely changed my perspective on working out. I'm one of the youngest members here at 21 and a college student, but I've seen people from all age ranges, from early 20s to 60s+. Age isn't a barrier--everyone is welcome. I love that you get out of it what you put into your fitness journey. There are no mandatory classes or strict schedules; you can come in whenever you want, and KJay is always super accommodating, trying to be there for your workouts. On some days, I can really push myself, and on others, if I'm not feeling 100%, I know I can take it easier without any judgment. A week after joining SCE, I injured my shoulder pretty badly. It was supposed to take months to heal, but with KJay's support and positive attitude, I was back to my normal life in just two weeks, doing modified workouts. I'm so grateful for the energy and optimism he brought to my recovery. When they say SCE is a family, they truly mean it. There's a reason they have a process to join--it's all about building a supportive and uplifting community. If you're looking to better yourself, improve your outlook on fitness, and be part of an amazing community, I 10000000% recommend SCE!
