My old boiler is about 65 years old. My 2nd floor radiators where not getting hot. The 2nd floor…read morewas always cold in my house. In the past, I had called 2 different heating companies to look at the boiler in my house. Both companies said my boiler was working fine, but yet my 2nd floor was still cold. I had called Lawerence plumbing to look at my furnace. Lawerence plumbing sent 2 technicians, Sam and Ed. It only took 5 minutes and they found the problem. The PSI in the water system was only at 5 Lbs, when it should have been at 15 Lbs. The valves that controls the water pressure in the boiler was corroded and stuck. The boiler system was old, and several other valves were also in need of replacement. Surprisingly, they were able to replace the old worn-out parts without breaking other parts. That's always the fear of working on old plumbing, things tend to snowball. They had to replace some bleeder valves on two of the radiators also. To make a long story short, Sam and Ed did a terrific job fixing my boiler. They were able to restore heat to my 2nd-floor without costing me a small fortune. If I ever need a plumber again, I will gladly call Lawerence Plumbing. They did a terrific job at an honest price. If I do call them again, I hope they send Sam & Ed again. Our GE double wall oven was acting up and he took the top electronic cover off and checked the wires. He tested all of the possible error codes to check for issues and found none. He tested the broiler, oven temps and convection fans to ensure all was working okay. He also diagnosed our dryer sound that suddenly and intermittently appeared a few weeks ago as a broken idler that we could buy online and either install ourselves (he showed us how) or call him to install when it comes in at his hourly rate. Next day machine was coming between 7 am and 7 pm. They showed up at 9 am to help. We have used them many times at my mothers and mother in law's house which are both from the early 1900's. Any problem they have run across (and there were many), they were able to handle easily. I've used this company since the owner was doing calls. They even saved us over 7,000 dollars by running the second sewage line through the basement rather than under the house. They are professional, friendly, and always clean up after themselves. When they say they are going to show, they always make it in the window given. I've even had them remove an old gas line from a chandelier so we could put up a new one (he had to find the ancient parts to use), which he did so promptly and finished the same day.

He didn't snake or use a camera, he just took $150 deposit for showing up and making a false diagnosis. My fiancee set up for him to do the job, not knowing I had a 2nd opinion coming to look, and he took over an $1800 deposit and is trying not to give it back. Also he came to West Virginia, but we can't find his WV license listed anywhere. The man, and I use that term loosely, is a crook. Do not entertain him at all! Zero stars should be an option in his case. File with the attorney generals office as we did if you've had a similar experience.

The pvc pipe that he connected together was too short so when you tighten the clamps on the furnco it would just pop off the pvc. it was probably grabbing a 1/16" of the pvc. We called him immediately and told us it's been a year and it's not his fault/problem. It's just a rude way to respond. I looked up his license number too and I can't find him. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND USING CHAZ.
