I bought a washing machine and found out at 2:30 in the afternoon the day before that the shut off valves were rusted open. To get the new machine installed we had to uninstall the last one. Next day machine was coming between 7 am and 7 pm. They showed up at 9 am to help. We have used them many times at my mothers and mother in law's house which are both from the early 1900's. Any problem they have run across (and there were many), they were able to handle easily. I've used this company since the owner was doing calls. They even saved us over 7,000 dollars by running the second sewage line through the basement rather than under the house. They are professional, friendly, and always clean up after themselves. When they say they are going to show, they always make it in the window given. I've even had them remove an old gas line from a chandelier so we could put up a new one (he had to find the ancient parts to use), which he did so promptly and finished the same day. read more

Just terrible - please look elsewhere. We agreed on a quote for services and they scheduled me 3 weeks out. I get a call the morning of the start date - "We will have to reschedule, we will let you know". Ok fine - no big deal. But they never did reschedule. Then I call them 3-4 times over the next week and they dodge calls or give the same "We will get back to you". Just more lies. Plumbing can be one headache but it's a necessary part of home upkeep. I decided to hire 412 plumbing based on my research since my toilet was not flushing properly. I called and made an appointment. The technician came out within the 2 hour window I was given. He did the necessary tests and found I needed a flapper. This can be the most simplest of problems but he explained to me that it is not a simple replacement. It must be installed correctly or it will not function properly After the toilet was fixed I had him look at my bathtub since it had a slow drain due to soap scum and was concerned about the mold around the caulking. He was very honest and told me that all I needed was to purchase a product that targets mold or mix a tiny amount of bleach with water to remove it. He told me my bathtub was fine and did not need replacement. He also tested the bathtub drain and it ran okay. He told me that normally soap scum builds up from hair products but more so from bathing soap gels since they take longer to break down in the drain. The price is based on the labor of the fixture itself as well as parts as opposed to time and a flat arrival fee. Sure it can be costly but to have peace of mind and to avoid unnecessary replacements is well worth the time and effort. Checks and credit cards are accepted. Due to the hard water in my home he gave me a 3 month warranty on the part. 412 Plumbing also does bathroom installations. The technician went over with me that if I wanted to replace my sink enclosure that I get the exact dimensions and select what I want and purchase it directly from a home supply store. Any questions I have can be directed to their business. 412 Plumbing is open during weekday hours but do provide emergency services on weekends and after hours. I am very happy with the services I received and plan to use them again for any future plumbing needs I may have. read more

Our sewer drain in our basement backed up. We called 3 other plumbers to try to get this drain unclogged. Nobody was able to unclog the drain. All three said that they would need to go through my concrete patio and basement to solve the issue. Admittedly, I should have written this review a while ago, but I haven't had much time to sit down and really explain just how great 412 Plumbing is. First, whenever you call 412, Mandy is genuine and kind on the phone, so you start things off right; she works quickly to schedule and communicate out to Brett. As for Brett: he's fantastic. Brett helped me with sewer inspections when I was in the process of finding a home. He was thorough and candid. For the house I bought, he inspected the sewer line going out to the city sewer (that's the only part of the home's sewage I asked him to inspect) and also checked a couple of valves in the basement. Fast forward, I bought the house and in a month, my drain starts backing up in my basement. A contractor sent through the home warranty said my line going out to the city sewer was shot, and so was my main within my house. He said I had only a few months before my entire system would backup or possibly even collapse. Furious, I called Brett and asked a million questions, yet him and Mandy were calm and worked incredibly well with me to schedule something immediately. Brett came by, inspected the lines, flushed out the system, and we found that the previous owner threw a ton of concrete, rocks, and other construction materials down the main, which was clogging the line within the house (the line going out to the city sewer was totally fine). The conclusion was that the lines are old, but fine, and that the debris in the lines must have been what the previous contractor found (and assumed to be deteriorating lines). He recommended treating the system like a septic system will help keep the lines healthy and working for a long while. Brett gave me recorded videos of everything and showed me exactly what was going on--he was very transparent and honest. The lines are spotless and things have been flowing along well now. I would recommend these guys to anyone, and although I hope I don't have any plumbing issues any time soon, I would call 412 back in a heartbeat. They did a great job installing some bidets and a kitchen sink for me. Arrived on time and got right to work. Turned out my main problem in one install, which I'd attempted on my own first, was in fact a manufacturing defect in a hard to source part from a bidet manufacturer. They have replumbed our kitchen and powder room, installed a dishwasher, disposable and kitchen faucet, installed new gas pipes for our gas cooktop in our new island, and switched out much of our old cast iron plumbing for newer PVC pipe in our house (we had a separate issue before the remodel where our pipes burst in the wall).
