They offered a great $15 open bar for Feds during the shutdown. Drinks were tasty and the staff, both the bartender and owner were super friendly

Good food, delicious cocktails Great atmosphere/ music, and great service - the owner was so kind and personable. I received a complementary glass of Prosecco! The Sassy potatoes were the star of the show- Super creamy, crispy and delicious!!! The vegan lumpia was crispy and savory. I enjoyed the raspberry CBD drink, I felt relaxed after a few sips. Great experience overall. I'll definitely return to this unique gem of a spot

As a person who does not drink, Binge Bar is a great place to enjoy a night out without the booze! There's a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks/crafted mocktails that are refreshing and vibrant flavors. Gigi and her staff were amazing, very attentive and made sure the customers were taken care of. The atmosphere is cozy, which is perfect spot to unwind and catch up with friends. If you're looking to have a relaxing night with good vibes and great drinks, come check this place out!

If you are looking for a place that you leave feeling better than you came in then head straight to Binge! Binge Bar is a sober bar serving up delicious mocktails that will make you feel rejuvenated. It is so fun to splurge on mixed drinks without the normal ramifications of a hangover. Binge Bar also has many vegan options!! I tried all of the available vegan items and none of them disappoint. If you were to only try one thing I recommend the Sassy Potatoes. The flavors are strong while also comforting and I could easily eat 2 orders of them solo. Also, the stuffed mushrooms are a hearty entree. If you want something that is more than a snack, I highly recommend them. The Mezze platter is such a great option for sharing with friends. I love that the crackers on the platter are bottomless which is actually pretty rare! That just shows how when you visit Binge Bar you are treated like a guest and not just a customer. What will keep me coming back to Binge is the fantastic owner, Gigi. She is 7 years sober and puts so much love into Binge. How can you not support this hardworking woman with such an honorable goal? Finally special shout-out to the most high end bathroom I have ever visited in DC! The bathrooms are gender neutral and so clean! So drink up all the mocktails because when you break the seal, you will get to sit on a throne of luxury. Thank you Gigi for bringing DC its first sober bar. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Wonderful experience at Binge Bar! I went with my mom for cocktail hour. I got the lemon drop to start and she had the aperol spritz-like drink which was the drink of the month for March. We both really enjoyed our drinks. They were very elevated, this bar is for people who are sick of mocktails that just taste like juice. We also shared a vegan jambalaya which was very good. I stayed and had a second drink which was the original mangorita. Very herbal, a creative blend of spices and tastes like a garden in the best way possible. Also, service was great and you can tell the owner is very hands-on with the business. Hope to make it back for brunch. Whether you are sober or not, Binge Bar is a must-visit.

This was an awesome experience. I love the contemporary intimate setting. The seasonal MartiGras theme was nice too. I probably like the staff the most. I'm 100% behind their mission. You will be surprised at how many people don't drink, are try to stop drinking, or have a significant other that doesn't drink, but don't have a safe place to go. The times that we visited, the staff was super friendly attentive, and really took pride in what they do. As an entrepreneur myself I would like to remind people that the rent in DC is to****high, so I'm hoping this place stays open for the community and people it serves... and why not have such an interesting, out-of-the-box landmark in DC?!? Such places adds to the character of the city, making DC ONE OF THE INTERESTING places to visit. The Food- Did I mention the food was exceptional? When we went, they had a vegan menu and I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best vegan meal I've had in DC. I really like the other vegan restaurants and they have their place, but I really felt the food here was top-tier. We talked to the chef, who is really passionate about her work, she even does seminars on vegan nutrition. The Drinks- the drinks we had were phenomenal. I really didn't miss the alcohol -taste wise-. Trying drinks that I really have never had anything like before is always a cool experience. Tips 1) try whatever they suggest 2) try the shots 3) try the Rose' 4) The do events; haler at the owner 5) The chef also does private catering; haler at her

A great place to hang out! I love the idea of a nonalcoholic bar so we had to check it out!! We stopped by for a few drinks on a Thursday evening and there were a few other patrons. It is a small space, but it was comfortable and I appreciated the art and decor of the bar. I have to say every person we interacted with was incredibly nice and made us feel at home. We had some questions about drinks and asked for recommendations. Everyone was helpful and kind!! To drink I got the Fill the Void which was fruity, with raspberry and ginger. I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for something light and refreshing. My husband got an espresso martini and he thoroughly enjoyed that! For our second round we both decided we wanted to try their cucumber mangorita and I'm telling you this is a solid replacement for a spicy margarita. Well crafted mocktails!! I would definitely come here again and my only regret is not ordering food. The food looked amazing!!!

Binge Bar is making massive strides and is paving the way for the nonalcoholic community! I am so impressed by the cocktails and the fact that they are zero proof. The owner is unbelievably inspirational and I admire her business and the way she runs Binge Bar (you're awesome, Gigi!). The vibes are amazing and there is art all over the small, quaint bar. Plus it's cool because they do a bunch of events and socials to connect others in the NOMA neighborhood. Also you need to try the lumpia and the banana ketchup--together it's heaven in your mouth! Can't wait to try some more nonalcoholic beverages and to have fun while doing so.

I had heard of binge bar when it opened, and I'm embarrassed to say it took me this long to come check it out. I had a friend in town who doesn't drink, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity! They have a very extensive menu of non-alcoholic drinks, including lots of mocktails! I tried the French 75 me! And the new fashioned - the new fashion was very sweet, but good, and I really liked the French 75 me! I will say it feels a bit rough to pay $14 for a drink that doesn't have any alcohol in it, but the drinks were yummy and I really support the premise of the business, so it's fine for a nice time out. We also tried some of their food, since my friend is vegan and we had been excited to see they have a lot of vegan options. We got the veggie lumpia, the sassy potatoes, and the artichoke elegante - everything was very good! Portions were small, but the flavors were delicious and everything was cooked beautifully. The atmosphere was cool, but be forewarned that it's loud, dimly lit, and they have little disco/neon lights going, so it's very lounge vibes. I liked it, but if you're thinking of coming on a date or something where you want to have lots of conversation, just be aware that you might be fighting the music. The service was a bit all over the place: when we were seated, the server just sat us and left. We thought she was coming back with menus or something, but then the other server sat a couple near us and we heard him explain the wifi (since it's underground, reception is bad) and that the menu was on a QR code on the underside of a coaster on the table. That was the only way we found out where the menu was. I heard our original server (the one who sat us) later give another party the full spiel, so not sure what happened or if she just forgot, but in case that happens to you, the menu QR code is on the bottom of the coaster and the wifi is needed to load the menu! Both servers were friendly, but there were just some small things that could be improved (one drink got spilled quite a bit when it came out, the second round of drinks took a long time to come out, things like that). Overall, I think this place is a wonderful idea and is well on its way to being amazing, but some tweaks might be beneficial.

As you can see I was charged for a drink .. not at all like the promo offered

As a non-drinker I was excited to try out the place! The ambiance was very nice and the menu looked good. I tried a tea-based drink that was veryyyy bland which was disappointing, and my friend tried a mocktail that he also didn't care for. We ordered wings and it came with around 6 very tiny pieces and then the turkey lumpia which was the best thing we ordered. So, at this point I decided I may come back to give it another chance however, the interaction upon checkout turned me off. The bill came out to around 60 something but when I made the reservation it stated there were 2 free drinks. When I brought it up the owner told me it was wrong and then corrected herself after reviewing the booking site. I didn't realize I had made the reservation for the wrong day, but it was still my first visit and she decided not to honor the promo on the site. I as a businesswoman would have for the simple fact it was still a reservation and the first visit. I guess that's a matter of opinion but not knowing what you advertise is odd. If I felt the food and drinks were actually worth it, I would have come back but I felt my money was wasted on bland and small portions. I would love to recommend this place, but I don't feel like the price is worth it. Hopefully they will improve on the mocktails so they can thrive in the future. Sn: there were canned and bottled drinks .. I would recommend those over the drinks they make.. I can only assume they will have more flavor. Edit: she gave me one drink off instead of both which still does not honor the promo..? But even if it was expired that is not the fault of mine as I am only taking advantage of something she offered and as a business owner .. she should know that. Again, I want the best for this business. Customer service could also use some work.

I have never been to a dry bar and I loved this. Our bartender and host was Phiraphon. He took his time to prepare a well crafted drink better than most bartenders these days. He also enlightened us to a little history of the place and why it was started. Additionally, the bites I enjoyed there were both healthy and delicious, which is something I love to see. Binge bar is perfect for studying, gatherings, chilling, partying and just overall vibing. Oh! They are also open to renting the venue for events. We will most certainly be back!

My friend was hosting a group of us here and she was looking for places that had great mock-tails. We were the only people in this cute place and then maybe a couple people came later on. We had a part of about 10 or 11 people. The manager was present and was super professional and attentive to us. She made she we understood the menu and explained what we had questions about. I love that it is a Filipino owned bar with plenty of vegan options. I do think it could get a little pricey so be mindful when order a lot of the bites. I ordered the wings and the vegan Mac & cheese. I did also order a drink which was called Gingerbeets Bliss-tini. I liked the wings but I didn't like not having a dipping sauce for the wings. They had do bleu cheese of course and the vegan Mac was decent. That was my first time having it so it had an acquired taste, but pretty good for my first time. I did try the fried oyster mushrooms as well and the dipping sauce for that was really good. I loved the ambiance, how artisty it was. Just such cute date night spot or grabbing a small bite with friends. I loved it and I can't believe I never heard of this place before. The manager did say they are about a year old and at first you'd miss it, but the location is really cute! Of course parking will be parking since it's on H street but otherwise I loved how everyone here made us feel so welcomed and I am happy to return here! I was so fascinated with how cute it was I forgot to take pictures of my food. Smh. I did grab a pic of the cheesecake which my friend said was great! I highly recommend!

Binge bar is a non-alcoholic bar. All their cocktails are 0%. Very different experience. Aesthetically pleasing for sure. All the staff were very friendly. Service was impeccable. Wings could've had more flavor but were still enjoyable. The drinks had very good flavor considering there was no alcohol. I would absolutely visit this establishment again. I would 100% recommend trying this bar out for a different atmosphere and enjoy a relaxing evening.

It's located in a strip shopping center, so parking is super easy and accessible, and the restaurant itself is very easy to find. Walking in, the space is extremely clean, well-lit, and nicely decorated. Now let's talk about the real highlight: the variety. They have dinner plates, bowl options, and à la carte items. I went with one of my favorites, the lechon. They were out of the roasted version, but the staff recommended the fried pork instead, and it did not disappoint. I came in around 7:30, and they close at 8, so I was trying to be mindful and not hold them up. But the woman at the counter was incredibly kind and told me not to rush at all--"you're already inside, take your time." That level of hospitality really stood out. She even took the time to walk me through the menu, which I appreciated, even though I'm already familiar with Filipino food. The food itself? Amazing. The lechon was perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The portion size was generous, and it came with two Lumpia that were hot, fresh, and delicious. It also included a soda, which made it feel like a complete, satisfying meal. Overall, this place is a 10/10. Great food, great portions, and even better customer service. I'd highly recommend stopping by.

Mang Eton really needs to provide some printed menus. While the online menu does contain descriptions, the online descriptions don't necessarily match what is available. Anyways.... For a starter, we ordered the siomai. These were plump and tasty. We wish they would give more of the excellent dipping sauce than the tiny thimble of sauce that they do give you. Note: the combo meals also include a couple pieces of siomai. I ordered the Combo #1, which came with a piece of fried chicken, 2 lumpia, shrimp chips, rice and pancit. The lumpia had an excellent flavor. The fried chicken and pancit were okay. JP ordered the Combo #3. The only difference between the Combo #1 and Combo #3 is that the Combo $3 comes with fish instead of chicken. It also comes with a skewer of meat (pork?), which was good. We were the only non-Filipino customers. I plan on coming back to try the halo-halo dessert and to order some more yummy siomai.

Sadly I need to update my review to three stars. The food we ordered today was not very good…read more Sinigang too sour, pork seemed it was cooked frozen, and it was dry too. Kawali was just ok. Sisig, pass. It was too spicy and also dry. We do like the grocery section. The service is nice and the Ube shake is great. Will be happy to return for grocery needs, but not the restaurant. Food seemed rushed, out of a can, unfresh and not worth the high prices. We will cook Filipino dishes at home instead.

First time at Manila Mart after having heard about it so many times and let's just say I'm…read morepleasantly surprised! I will say prepare a budget cause there's a lot to get, I ended up spending around $40 for everything I got. Let's start with the beef lumpia. It was crispy and tasted pretty good. I'm a sucker for spice so I would've loved it to be a little spicier or maybe offer some chili oil on the side. Next is the star of the show, the lechon kawaii bowl. The pork is so tender and perfectly crispy! I added garlic rice instead of the usual which was a great addition. I asked to try their vinegar sauce which comes with garlic and jalapeño in it which I found to be amazing. Lastly, the taro milk tea is heavenly, I'm still thinking about it!!! The service was friendly and because it was my first time they even offered me a coupon for the next time I come back and I will definitely be back! Plenty of indoor seating as well with a whole market inside where you can find an assortment of Filipino food, snacks, drinks, and desserts.
