From the first message, Edgar was responsive, professional, and walked me through everything step by step. His crew showed up right on time and got straight to work. They moved fast, stayed organized, and handled everything with care. They even laid down protective paper so nothing would get scratched which shows how much they actually care about doing things the right way. What really impressed me was the efficiency. They completely unloaded the U-Haul and the trailer in just a few hours, and nothing was rushed or sloppy. Every item was placed where it needed to go, and they kept checking in to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The quality of service started at the top. I requested to have some packers to help prepare the house. They sent Ashley to sort, donate and prep the house. Ashley worked with my friend. Ashley's empathy, kindness, guidance and outstanding work ethic has saved the day. She will continue to help at the new place making it a smooth transition. This review is for the initial contact & estimate process…read more Great first conversation with Cheryl (hope I spelled that correctly) at the front office--she was a former Fortune 500 company IT project manager, and I could tell! Detail-oriented, explained the process fully and understandably. (We needed two phases of moving & storage--one to clear room to have a living estate sale and then stage & sell the house, and one to clear it out once sold so we could look for another.) She understood exactly what we needed and had experience with the same process. She set us up with Kiki to do an initial walk-through and give us an estimate for phase one. He was friendly and cordial (we hit it off due to our being fans of the same NFL team) and thorough. He made notes (by hand--old school!) of everything we needed to move & store. Within a couple days he sent a full and very detailed estimate. While we ended up going with someone else (due to reasons of logistics and convenience--we're moving out of state but found a company who could handle it end-to-end with the same trucks and people--it was a very tough decision!), I would not hesitate to call All-Star again for an estimate.

Asencio and his brother showed up right on time and took care of everything. All I had to do was tell them what I wanted done and they did it, I was super stressed and they made everything so much less stressful. They disassembled what needed to be disassembled, moved it downstairs to their truck, drove it to storage, and packed the storage unit well - I feel like my belongings are well protected with the way they wrapped everything and placed it. I had one computer monitor that they covered with plastic wrap but it was destroyed and cracked. The damage was only noticed after I unwrapped it. They did not take responsibility for the damage (I was just looking for accountability and an apology, no refunds or anything like that). On top of that, I was quoted $100/hour but charged an extra $100 on top of what was promised. I was already planning to tip $100 but in light of this, only tipped $50. Shady business and uncaring management.
