My only regret in using Handyman Hendee's Business is in that fact that I waited for so long to write my review. After buying shed that I intended to put up myself with a friend, I sustained an on the job injury that left me partially disabled and unable to "do it myself". So, I hired Jason to put up a shed. Normally a 2 man job, he was able to do it by himself (with the exception of me holding maybe 8 nuts in place from inside of the shed, while he tightened them from outside of the shed) in 1 day. You know there's alot to say about someone that responds to your quote in less than 15 minutes and is able to actually come assemble a "stressful by just looking at the directions" bed for you that next morning. Jason was very prompt and even asked if it were cool to come an hour early. This bed that my friend and I thought that we could put together turned out to be a headache. Once we realized it was literally impossible for us to do, I went straight to Yelp. When i saw that his response rate was 20 mins; I instantly messaged him. I was determined to have someone do it the next day or even the following. I only sent out one quote and he hit me up extremely fast. I told him my issue and we were set for the next morning. The bed was missing a few minor (lol) pieces and things werent correctly labeled like it shouldve been. Because of that it took him a few extra minutes to make sure those missing pieces wont be an issue now and later. 90 mins later , my bed looked just like the pic and I did the jump bounce on it. It passed . Oh I was juiced. I then threw in one small request. Can you put up this toilet paper holder? He said yes, at no extra charge. He hooked that up in a jiffy. Im very pleased. I really needed someone to fix the fence so my dog would stop trying trying to run away next door. I called and sent a text Saturday morning. I got a quick response soon after. Jason always picks up his phone (or will call you right back), and moreover, he comes ON TIME!!! And guess what: He comes even on Sundays!!! Today's the second time Jason came over my place to fix stuff. The first time, I needed to hang very heavy mirrors on my walls made of plaster. Jason is equipped with all up-to-date tools and materials... Jason found the studs with his awesome electronic stud finder, aligned both mirrors perfectly and hang then right in the middle... Today, I asked Jason to do some plumber work, rewire a GFCI outlet, re-seal my sink joint and hang 4 pictures all aligned on the same wall. Again, Jason came with a state of the art laser pointer and my frames are perfectly aligned, my faucet and seal fixed. When something wrong happened fixing the GFCI in my kitchen, it still won't work... Jason didn't give up! He came to fix it and I wouldn't leave unfixed. Jason said he wanted to try another GFCI... Jason he's not the guy letting you down: He took his car, drove to Home Depot and brought back another GFCI... And bingo! It worked perfectly... He gave me a flat-rate quote and four possible dates/times that he could do the work. Since he was a five-star rated handyman, I went ahead and hired him. I'm so glad I did! He showed up 25 minutes earlier than the agreed upon time, but before coming to the door, he called me to find out if he could start early. I appreciated the phone call because I have three dogs that I needed to crate before he came in. After introducing himself, he got right down to work. He was at my house for two hours (I had several small jobs that needed to be done). At first I was happy he explained everything and believe he was going to do a great job. The problem with the job is that the fence doesn't look straight and he complained about that shrubs which where there when he gave me the estimate. The last thing I want to explain is that I had rocks on the ground in front of the fence so I moved them as best I could after he left I realized that he covered my rocks with dirt and it took me almost a week or two to dig the rocks out he should have put the dirt on the cement or a trap. I have another project to do and when so his name I couldn't help give this review so he will do a better job next time.
