Placed my items in public storage for three months, the last month the price went up. Upon picking…read moreup my items, my things were covered with rat pee and poop. After moving my items out, I was charged the following month due to me not properly "moving out" by not taking the lock (public storage lock- not usable or useful to me). Payment was non negotiable and had to be paid even though items were moved out before. When i explained my situation, the office clerk did nothing but mentioned collections and my credit being affected if not paid. I ended up paying another months payment along with the late fee. Of the items I retrieved from the storage, 70% percent had to be thrown away. These were my actual, priceless items. They're irreplaceable. Due to me not having insurance, nothing was covered and so I'm just without. The reason why I did not get insurance this time was because I previously had my items stored and the same thing happened and insurance didn't do anything about it. I transferred storage places and another time I had my unit broken into and insurance/police were intolerable (even though I was calm and patient during the whole ordeal). Upon moving back to this location, I'm already dealing with a lot of things and this put a damper on my life. The photos don't do justice as to what I had to deal with at this location.

I moved from a unit to a larger one and swept and got my full deposit back. Great place!
