Detail-oriented, explained the process fully and understandably. (We needed two phases of moving & storage--one to clear room to have a living estate sale and then stage & sell the house, and one to clear it out once sold so we could look for another.) She understood exactly what we needed and had experience with the same process. She set us up with Kiki to do an initial walk-through and give us an estimate for phase one. He was friendly and cordial (we hit it off due to our being fans of the same NFL team) and thorough. He made notes (by hand--old school!) of everything we needed to move & store. Within a couple days he sent a full and very detailed estimate. While we ended up going with someone else (due to reasons of logistics and convenience--we're moving out of state but found a company who could handle it end-to-end with the same trucks and people--it was a very tough decision!), I would not hesitate to call All-Star again for an estimate.

Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

Both my parents and sister used Moving Expertise in 2010 in Stockton and Tracy in 2014 and so they've been doing this for awhile. I did enough research on moving companies in the Bay Area and Tracy on Yelp and I just can't get over how dishonest and fake some of the reviews are. Other companies may offer you more perks and benefits but I prefer to focus just on getting sh*t done. The hourly rate is reasonable. Both moves were at $80 an hour in December 2016 and March 2017. Note: - Matt and Troy will most likely be present on the day of your move with an additional guy to help - They will work with you on the placement of your belongs in the new location which is a nice touch - Wrap your own furniture with bubble and paper wrap to save time. I don't believe this service comes with the move. Again, confirm during your initial call
