Shonda, the associate working the return desk, looked at the dress and found a few pieces of lint inside the bottom of the dress, and told me that she couldn't return it because it seemed, from the two pieces of lint inside, that I had worn it. I tried it on but never wore it. I do have a big dog and he may have brushed against the bottom when it was hanging on the door frame at home. I have never been treated like this. All of the tags were on it too. I demanded a manager and she called one over to me. The manager was nice, and she explained how there are certain things they must check(which I had been told already). She returned the dress for me and hinted I should have gone back to Gainesville where I purchased it. The reason I went to Bethlehem was because it was closer this time and had to be returned by the 15th of January. I have been taught that if you work with the public you do everything you can to provide service to the customer in a pleasant and helpful way. I am 76 years old and I will not be treated this way by anyone. I will have a hard time recommending Bethlehem Belk to anyone I know.

This has been a day from hell trying to shop at this Walmart! First, I was at self checkout ringing…read moreup $300.00 worth of groceries and the young girl working there was insulting the whole time. I finally had enough and told her to keep the damn groceries! Then, I talked to some manager ( Michelle) and she called someone over her to come and talk with me. Well, UPPER management was so concerned about me ( the Customer that spends money up there every week!) that they never even came up to talk to me! And then, I got a text my car was ready ( from the oil change) I go pay for that. Get in, the check engine like is flashing red, I turn around go back and told them in automotive....the girl that rang me out said, just drive it, it will go off. I drive it 15 miles home, still on. Walmart calls to bring my car back, they had left a plug out when they changed the oil! (?) WTH?? I will NOT be spending any more of my money at this store!!

Now with that said I came in to this Walmart in Hartwell about 10:15pm less than an hour before they closed. The store was clean and winding down. I was having a hard time finding things as it's a bit of a different layout from my Vegas stores. I ran into an employee named Edward. He was friendly and greeted me with a smile. He helped me find the last few items I needed in grocery. I must say all the staff seemed very friendly and welcoming. I was even impressed that none of them had earbuds in like the employees that work at Walmart in Las Vegas. If i travel back through Hartwell again I will definitely be stopping there again. So I look and I have a 10% off and a $50 off "qualifying" clothing. So I show her my 50% off and she says, "It only works for online". I show her where it doesn't say that. She asks for the $10 off coupon, and it has meanwhile disappeared from my phone. I ask her if it might be in my email, and she says, "Yes...in 2-3 days". I control my voice and ask if she could help me find it. "I don't have all day, I have other customers". So I take my purchases, and she actually asks me for my email. It didn't work the first time, so why would I give it now? I shop about once a year at Belk's because they have no cashiers or help. Looks like the bankruptcy in 2021 didn't help them improve.
