Takes forever for anything to get done at the auto center too much talking laughing & not enough work being done. Beth has the worse attitude ever & she's a supervisor. The workers aren't friendly in the store always a line at checkout. I bought a vanity & the stool only last 2 was Walmart says i have to send it back but return policy says it can be returned to store. I paid $90!

I am so excited Aldi has come to Hartwell. In direct opposition to other poster, I thought this…read morestore was very well organized and clean. I'm a huge Aldi fan and having them come to Hartwell is amazing. If you are an Aldi shopper, you know that they don't have multiple different brands of same item. They do carry some name brand products but focus more heavily on their own brand. Which is great and a quality brand. The produce section has organic and regular produce. At a great price. There are times that I leave Aldi and still have to stop somewhere else to pick up a few items that Aldi doesn't carry, but most of my shopping gets done at Aldi. Once you know what they do and don't carry, it is a game changer to shop here. They have cashiers and also self check out lanes. The cashiers are fast and efficient. The store model calls for limited employees needed so you will find an employee stocking and when they hear the ding from a cashier because there are people waiting, they will open another lane. It is how they keep their prices low. Bring your quarter because you will need it for the cart. They are located outside and you put your quarter in and disconnect it from the other carts. When you are finished shopping you push it back in and get your quarter back. I love this because it keeps carts contained and you don't have to worry about your cart getting hit because someone has left it in the parking lot. You also will either need to bring your own bags or purchase a bag from them. They do always have boxes that you can take, free of charge. I love Aldi and I'm sure you will also.

ALDI - Regional Office Jefferson Division…read more 1597 Dry Pond Rd. Jefferson, GA 30549 Federal ADA Violation and Severe Animal Endangerment I am writing to formally report a severe and dangerous violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and company protocol that occurred at your Hartwell, Georgia location on July 5th at approximately 9:10 AM. My federally protected service dog and I were forcibly removed from the store by an employee named "Sedona" (that's what the Cashier told me her name was), Sedona identified herself as the Assistant Manager. When I explicitly informed Sedona that my service dog is a trained service animal required for my disabilities, she stated that she "didn't care and it doesn't matter; ADA laws does NOT apply in their store and that they won't have dogs coming into their store peeing all over the floor" and demanded we leave, "right now". Worse yet, Sedona told me that I needed to leave my dog in the car and return to the store alone. At 9:10 AM in July, the outside temperature was already 85 degrees. Forcing a handler to leave a service animal in a vehicle under those conditions is not only a violation of federal civil rights law, but it is also an act of severe animal endangerment that could have resulted in heatstroke or death. My Dog has been accompanying me to this specific Hartwell location since it opened last year without a single issue. She is a vital medical necessity who monitors my health and helps mitigate my disabilities while I shop. This is the very first time we have ever been targeted or denied entry. Under Title III of the ADA, public accommodations like grocery stores are strictly required to modify "no pets" policies for service animals. Furthermore, the Department of Justice explicitly protects the right of a handler to carry a service dog in a bag or pouch if it is necessary for the person's disability or for the dog to perform its tasks. Sedona's total disregard for federal law, combined with her reckless demand that I endanger my dog's life, is entirely unacceptable. I expect ALDI to take immediate, documented corrective action regarding Sedona and the Hartwell store management. I've being going to Aldi's store for nearly 10 years and to have this happen was emotionally upsetting. And as another customer advised, we should NOT spend our dollars where people with disabilities aren't allowed to bring in their "service animals." Why in the hell do you think we need them for anyway? NO ONE walks around with a service animal "just because" they are with us "TO HELP PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES!"

A deli ,a shop , very local and a bit on the honor system where you get a bag and write down what you want on a sandwich to eat ,pick a drink and sit and enjoy. So 6 of us came in, found a table, got our orders into the box and waited for our names to be called. Only took five minutes or so, and each one of our orders was called and you go up and pick it up and head back to the table. Maybe pick up some cake , or anything else you desire but I got a turkey Panini with everything on it and it was super !!! a side of potato salad, and some chips for some reason and I was stuffed. The kids ate well., and we even bought some lasagnas and a chicken casserole to take home for my daughter to eat with her family tonight and tomorrow so she didn't have to cook. This place was packed today the day before Christmas Christmas Eve., everyone looked happy, the staff was very pleasant and very efficient , and the shelves were lined with candies and chips or spices. I actually didn't have time to look at all the options, but what a great market and place to enjoy with the kids and family.. We were able to get the kids fed, cleaned up their mess and checked out with tons to go. They go to place. I hear in town and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.!!!

Some days there might only be four vendors which just doesn't make it worthwhile, and after hearing how long the market has been functioning there also isn't much innovation to be seen. Practically none of the vendors accept card also there isn't a market loyalty system or newsletters to let people know what is available or a updated and maintained website that I know of to introduce vendors. I'd still agree the products and food here aren't all that bad, and prices can fluctuate. In comparison to other farmers markets they don't really hold a flame though. However, it seems to be a rag tag buncha local gardeners which is totally fine. If you're looking for the open air market experience, you might be a little disappointed, but if you're looking for cheap produce then by all means. Just bring cash.
