I live 10 miles out of town. I ordered a refill and the CVS system said my prescription would be filled by 5:00 pm the same day I ordered. Unfortunately, they are out of stock and their system does not notify the consumer until you actually go to CVS. As I was the only person in line, I stood at the counter to listen to Jonathan tell his co-worker how much he enjoyed "didn't have to answer the phone, didn't have to ring in orders, didn't have to, etc." Gosh, if it weren't for the customers the job would be so easy. The cashiers at this CVS are so friendly and helpful. The pharmacy employees seem so unhappy and bothered by customers. No one ever answers the phone. I am looking for another option quickly to avoid all the unhappy people. There is enough unhappiness in the world and who wants to go to the pharmacy anyway and take medicine. Pharmacy seriously understaffed. I have had a Rx on auto-refill, and it is aggravating, because there are not enough staff to keep up. When calling and specifying to talk with someone, the hold time is terribly long. I have been in the pharmacy, hearing the pages of waiting calls, and everyone on staff is extremely busy. Visited this tomb of terrors again today to pick up the prescription I ordered Saturday. Waited in the Drive Up line for about 30 minutes and then decided I would go inside and hope there was not a line in there. As difficult as it is to believe there was no line. There were 5 employees standing in a circle having a good old hee haw with one another ignoring any type interruption such as I standing at the PickUp counter. After 20 mins the girl running the Drive U window came over to help me and I ask if she shouldn't be caring for the Drive Up line. She said no they are waiting for COVID testing. I guess a sign outside would have been helpful. She took my name and DOB and said my scripts had not been filled yet in three days. The store is doing well and you can find most things you expect from a CVS but the pharmacy, well that's another story altogether. I've been using the pharmacy for years and the staff has completely changed and the pharmacy has just simply gone down the toilet so badly. Ever since Bill left, this pharmacy has just gotten worse and worse. Several times now I've had medicines called in and had to wait days for them to be filled. I realize that the pandemic has hurt a good many businesses and made medicines harder to get but this is not what has happened to me or to the others I know. This is a chronic problem that seems to stem from very poor management to say the least. This time I had medicine called in on a Monday and by Thursday I had heard nothing from the pharmacy but I figured that was just par for the course with these people. I went to the pharmacy and was told the meds were still being filled. Not that the meds were on order, had to be flown in by a private helicopter from a remote village in Ukraine. Nope, just haven't had time because, "we've been real busy". So I stood in the store after 3 full days and waited along with others who had the same complaint and several of us agreed in unison that this was our final trip to CVS pharmacy. I don't blame the ladies at the counters, they are more than cordial and as helpful as they can be. But, whom ever is in charge of filling prescriptions is spending way too much time on Tik Tok or maybe Angry Birds. If you want to use the store, it's as good a place as any. If you want to have your medicines filled promptly and at a reasonable price then you really need to go somewhere else. read more

This CVS was really an "let's just grab some chips" stop, after our botched Mc Donalds stop. Very large CVS that looks fairly new. I didn't like the cashier set up because there's an aisle not 10 feet away from the cashier counter and lines can (and were) forming from both sides for one register. They did eventually open another register to take care of the crowds. Prices were standard and service was fine. read more

In 72 years this is by far the worst business I have ever dealt with. They don't know what they are doing and instead of getting an answer to a question they lie to you. Drive up window takes hours to get to window and when you get there the prescription you dropped off four days prior is not filled. They are understaffed because the released employees. In store pharmacy counter is worse than drive up. Same times but now you are standing but at least you get to watch the inept employees at their assigned tasks and the Pharmacist trying to hide so nobody complains to them. read more
