The provider is super slow. I waited over 2 hours with an appointment time. Ridiculous

Their Minute Clinic is phenomenal. I was seen by the Nurse, Rhonda, as soon as I sat down to have my vitals taken to be ready for the doctor. She was very nice and quick which I was thankful given how sick I felt. I was then seen less than 10 minutes later by the Nurse Practitioner, Brandi. She was phenomenal. She listened to my symptoms and concerns intently and was very kind and compassionate with how sick I was. She got me in and out and got me all the prescriptions I needed to start feeling better. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've used the CVS in Clemson and Pendleton, and not one time have I ever had a good experience...especially the one in Pendleton. (That's the one that is closest to my house.) 1. Cars are always wrapped around the store. 2. Inside is like a hoard of sick people crowded around complaining of having waited an hour or more. 3. Most of the CPhT's don't have a clue what's going on-maybe they were new. But it would take up the time of the tech's that actually DID know their job. 4. Lord forbid if you had a question about something! You're gonna have to wait again for that! 5. Their lack of sympathy for their their patients is next to nothing. Not even an apology for the wait time. 6. When my grandmother was given the wrong med, I went from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds! She was in her 80's. I got her home and got her meds out, and she had birth control meds in her bag!! It wasn't like they mistakenly grabbed someone else's and put it in her bag. They actually had her name on the label!! After I collected myself, I calmly called the store to speak directly to the pharmacist in charge. After waiting 15 minutes on the phone, I hung up and just went there. As expected, I had to wait 20 minutes for him to stop what he was doing. I discreetly handed him the bag and quietly explained. He did tell me that they had been busy (imagine that!, and the techs were very busy. Well, it was just as much his fault if not more because he has to go behind the techs to make sure everything is perfect before putting it in the bag'! Same incident in the Clemson store not too long ago! I know mistakes can be made, but I just have no words for this! I too, was a CPhT in retail and hospital pharmacy for around 10 years, and NONE of this above was acceptable! Needless to say, I switched over to Walgreen's almost 12 years ago. Omg! They were and still are AWESOME! They're quite busy most all the time, but if you take a script in and need it right then...no problem! I've never waited for more than 20 minutes, and this is when I have multiple prescriptions. I've never had one single bad experience after all these years. Horrible pharmacy. Out of prescriptions even when they text you to come pick it up. Incompetent workers

I have never gone to this CVS and encountered an employee that didn't seem to hate their job and through that be pissed that I as a customer was even there. The pharmacy staff is pleasant except the main pharmacist, he is completely rude disrespectful and inconsiderate of customers. I have never written a bad review before I usually just look the other way but the encounters I have had with this pharmacist have been terrible enough that I deemed it necessary. I would avoid filling prescriptions at this CVS at all costs specifically because of this pharmacist. read more

One of the worst CVS stores I have ever used. I've waited over an hour to pick up a med in the drive thru that was already ready. This isn't the first time this has happened. They refill meds without being asked to & have it on an insurance card I've never had in my life. I always get a 30 day supply but they change it to 90 day supply without asking or looking at what I normally get. The app doesn't work well, the staff doesn't answer the phone, and I think the person working the drive through is asleep cause the line is out to the road! read more

Need a negative star review. awful!!!' teenager working the window said that they would attempt to have to RX done before they closed... at 9 pm... 5 hours later! rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they could atleast contact me when it's ready instead of me waiting around for hours with my flu positive 7 year old. While I really love the minute clinic staff (particularly the NP with pink hair) this is the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever used. They NEVER answer the phone when you ask to speak to a pharmacist or want to refill a prescription; Ive been using them for years as CVS is my pharmacy at home, and I always have to go to the store just to speak with someone because they wont pick up. Then when I get there, I have to wait an extremely long time due to it being understaffed. I am finally about to switch regardless of my home pharmacy. read more

Fast efficient staff. This is my go to minute clinic and I have to say the Nurses are wonderful. They've worked my son in even when they were booked for the evening. The pharmacy staff also is great. They turn around your scripts from the minute clinic quickly and help you to get the best discount possible if your insurance isn't covering a script. I tell all my friends in walhalla and Seneca to come to this Cvs for urgent care. Keep up the great work! read more

Literally worst experience of my life. I come into the store sobbing because I am at this point VERY VERY sick looking to go to the minute clinic. The kiosk was broken and no one could help me. I finally figure you how to sign up online. It told me that my waiting time would be about 170 minutes and that I would get a notification before my appointment. I waited for 3 & 1/2 hours.. at this point I called CVS. Could not get to a person so I called through the pharmacy. I was on hold FOR 15 minutes. By this point I hung up and went to AnMed down the street who was much more put together and accommodating. I will never ever use CVS Again. read more

If there was an option for no stars, I would put that. This CVS is extremely slow and lies about when your prescription will be ready. They tell you a day and then even call you on that day to tell you your medication is ready, just for you to show up and it's not even in stock so no where near being ready. Today when my wife drove up to drop off a prescription, the person at the window closed the window when she handed the prescription toward the window. That person came back and told my wife that they were too busy and she needed to come back later. Not "We have a backlog and it will take ????? hours to fill. Can you come back then?" We have decided that Walgreens is a much better option and will be moving all of our family's prescriptions to Walgreens. By the way, I called the CVS district office in Anderson, left 3 messages on voice mail (no human answered) and did not get a call back. read more

There is the greatest nurse at the clinic at CVS in Clemson. She was thorough and kind. She made sure I understood what my diagnosis was. She clearly explained what my medicines were for. She thought of all my issues . We were simpatico. She was there late and treated me as I were her first patient I would mention her name but thought it was better for her if you were motivated enough to figure out who she is. Terrible customer service. Brought a prescription in and was told they had to order it and it would be ready the next week. I had to call myself a week later to find out they could no longer order it for reasons that made zero sense. Offered no help or alternative solution, basically just left me hanging. I now go to Walgreens! read more

I visited this clinic to receive a typhoid vaccination for my upcoming study abroad trip. Before I arrived, I called to ask the price of this vaccine. I was told $142. Upon arriving, I was seen quickly by a nurse practitioner. She was very sweet, but being new, she had a little trouble figuring out the computer system. As a nursing student, I understand that learning new electronic health systems can be confusing. I didn't mind, and I was in no rush. I told her that I had already consulted with my physician about my trip and that we agreed I only needed a typhoid vaccine. I even came with a prescription for it. I also confirmed with Esther that the cost of the visit would come to $142, and she confirmed. However, she ended up calling in another nurse to help her with the computer. Again, not a problem - it takes time to learn these systems. However, the other nurse came in and began asking me travel health questions. I informed her that I had already talked about these things with my physician and my study abroad coordinator and that I only wanted the vaccination (again confirming its cost), but she insisted. I answered her questions, each time letting her know that I had previously discussed these things with somebody who knows more about my trip and also somebody who knows about my health. She continued to insist I take additional medications and vaccinations for my trip, even though I told her I didn't want them, wouldn't be at risk during my trip, and my provider had advised against them. She expressed her disapproval of my personal health choices in regards to not following her suggestions. I finally got the vaccination over 45 minutes after arrival. When it came time to pay, my total was $201 - far from the $142 I was consistently assured of. This additional $59 was for "Preventative Medicine Individual Counseling", something that I repeatedly told the providers I did not want. I feel that my desires were put off in a way for CVS to make more money. I was told I couldn't take it off because the service was already performed. As a college student whose insurance will not cover this visit, I feel taken advantage of and would not recommend this CVS to other Clemson students. read more
