I would say almost half of the store is dedicated to sunglasses. The actual drugstore type products were very sparse, maybe 3 of each kind of item. It made me feel like trying to shop for drugstore goods at a gas station. They carried the Salonpas at about the same price as I am used to. The generic Benadryl was a nice surprise at about $3 for 100 capsules. But the disappointment came from the tissues. They only carried plain kleenex. No puffs, and no kleenex or puffs with lotion. I'm fighting a sinus infection so my nose is getting raw. But the good news is that there is a Walgreens right across the street where you can probably find what Fowlers doesn't carry. I'm going to admit, I didn't get any prescriptions filled there so I don't know if they are more affordable than the chain pharmacies.

There's also an aisle for $1.25 items that are very useful and affordable greeting cards. If they don't have an item they will order it and it's ready the following day. Parking is easy and there's also a drive- thru window. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly who offers old-fashioned service.

Any prescription you have, you'll have to pay for, because they don't do anything veteran related there, even though we were told they do. They also love talking over people instead of hearing people out and actively listening. We were given a phone number to give to the pharmacist to call about our prescription, and they kept telling us they were not going to call and that *we* had to call, even though we said it was a pharmacists only line. It took several minutes of arguing to finally convince the very rude woman on the phone to do her job and call the number meant for her to call.

The owner, Tommy, has such passion and love for and about his clients. I was in a bad cycling accident with severe head injury and was taking an array of meds. I was confused and scared and felt like I didn't know who to turn to for answers. Tommy sat down with me and went over every single medicine and helped me to understand what it was for and why I needed it. Not only that but he checked in with me days later to make sure I was retaining the information, fully understanding the depth of what a head trauma can mean for retaining information. He has hired a staff that totally reflects his commitment to service. When I walk in to the store ( the pharmacy carries a carefully selected line of different kinds of personal items) I always am greeted with warm smiles and cheery hellos. Essentially the pharmacist said that she was already dumping too much work on her co-worker who was coming on, and she told me to go somewhere else. I was squeezing this drop-off into a crazy schedule, and so her not taking my business meant missing a day of the medication. I thoroughly explained this to her, almost to the extent of begging, but she said that it was "just a sh*tty situation." So here's the review that pairs well with the situation, and I would hope that whoever staffs/manages this location would consider reviewing some of the controls that could potentially prevent this from happening again.
