Trusted cleaners, although I was misquoted once, but all was good, way better than the PX cleaners.

It was my first time visiting Bill's cleaners. I got a pair of OCP pants tailored and perma-bloused. They did a nice job on the services I asked for, however upon trying the pants on I noticed a weird feeling on the right pocket. There appears to be fabric glue all over and hair/debris stuck on it from the clumping of the glue. Definitely a let down. read more

I have used Bill's since moving to MD in 2015 and haven't had too many issues, but I absolutely must insist to employees who do tailoring--do not argue with the customer about the uniform regulation for tailoring. I went in today and had to insist over five times that my skirt be taken in a certain way and the seamstress kept refusing saying "the regulation states X and we can't do it that way." First, no, the regulation for the skirt does not state "x". Even if that were to be the case, it isn't your business to tell me what you will and won't do based off of a regulation you clearly do not know. Second, I am paying for a service and not for your opinion. Please don't argue with patrons about how they want their clothing hemmed. It's not only incorrect for regulation purposes but it is also unprofessional. Otherwise, I've not had a problem with the dry cleaning component. Thank you for providing quality care on this front. read more

My husband goes here quite often to work on his patches which I know this is a place that is highly trusted to take care of those things. I needed to go to get a dress that I had purchase cleaned and also possibly hemmed. When I went I was very happy to be taken care of pretty quickly and the place did not have an overwhelming chemical smell which is very often what you encounter at cheap places. I let the lady know that I wanted to get my dress hand and she was able to have me put on the dress in the dressing room and start pinning the dress. The interaction was pretty good and I would absolute trust them if I needed to get this done in a pinch as they would have been able to do it in less than 5 days. However I did thankfully ask them how much it was going to be to have my dress before I move forward with the order. Maybe I don't understand the prices of what it is to have a dress but when I was $140 which basically was above the cost of the dress I was absolutely shocked and asked to cancel the order. She did not give me a hard time about cancelling but I kind of feel like those were exceptionally high prices. I did move forward with my dress being cleaned and that was about $40 And I had no issues with it and it was available for pick up during the time. I'm not sure if I would try this again or try to find another place that seems more reasonable. read more

Old faithful and as fresh as ever! Bill's Cleaners has been around for years. Just follow the yellow signs and you'll find them. No need to go to any other dry cleaner in the area. Seriously. They upkeep the place and keep it clean. They're so reliable, I can't believe they don't have more reviews. Come here for alterations or cleaning and they do military stuff too of course since the base is right across the street. Just moved back here after 10 years and was so happy they are still around. read more

I've been coming to Bill's for over 5 years. The service is impeccable. I tried some of the $1.95 drycleaner brands and was highly dissatisfied. Bill's gets the job done! My clothes are pressed and spotless. They have great attention to detail which I appreciate. Please come to this location for proper drycleaning services. You won't regret it. read more

Bill's completely lost one of my clothing items and had my things ready a full day after the associate said they would be. I would not recommend coming here with anything of value to you. read more

Sewed new rank on my dress uniform sleeves without having to take all the pin on stuff off. They warned me they couldn't promise they wouldn't accidentally knock anything off in the process, but they didn't and that's worth a five star any day. read more

Do not sleep on Bill's!!! I've been going here for years for tailoring my dresses/skirts, and they do a fantastic job with military items too. Reasonably priced and quick turnaround, and the owners/employees are super nice! read more

Came here on the recommendation of a co-worker who has used Bill's for dry cleaning services before. My most notable comment is that my items were ready when promised and although I left the ticket in the car, the cashier looked it up by telephone number and I was able to pay and be on my way. Parking out front can be a tad bit adventurous as it is on a busy street and they've posted signs indicating 15 minute parking only. I have some items that I'll be bringing here. I am pleased with the quality of their work and their prices are decent. When I initially came in on my first visit, the ladies at the front counter answered all of my questions and made me feel welcomed. I got the scoop on the other services they offer and their procedures for same day pick up if you need it. Payment by credit card and cash but they do not accept American Express. read more

More money and not near my house. So why do I use Bill's Cleaner? They get the job done. I have never had to worry whether or not my clothes were going to be clean or creased correctly. They also have 24 hour turnaround on all clothing (even suit's). If you don't want to have to worry about your expensive clothes getting messed up at the cleaners, use this cleaner. Customer service is good. I've never had a bad experience with their employees. PEACE OF MIND! read more

This place is not as great as people hype it up to be. They've messed up my alterations order twice in the past week. I was getting stripes sewn on my blues and left them a shirt and coat. They gave me back the shirt with new stripes and the coat without. When I asked her why it was only on one item and why they were giving me the other set of stripes back she simply said "oops, I forgot.." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? This is your job! Then when I put the order in for her to fix her mistake, they sewed the stripes a full inch lower than needed and it now reveals shading from my previous stripes. Again, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? The shading is disgustingly obvious. read more

Bill's Cleaners - Sewing the stripes lower than they need to, revealing shading/shadow/whatever from my previous rank as a SrA. - Laundry Services Near Me - Odenton, Maryland

Love this cleaners! Great for alternations, convenient and the staff is professional.

The service is good. They know how to handle all the military ranks on uniforms and such. My recommendation to them is they charge the exact or more as the cleaners on base for alterations. The cleaners on base is right next to uniform clothing sales store. Why would one drive off base to drop them off there for the same or slightly higher price? For example: the stripes are free at bill's but they charge $10 to sew on. The stripes are used stripes for prior customers. On base, the stipes cost $10 brand new and you get them sewn on for free. Bill's. lower your prices a bit and your sales will go up. read more

I just came out of training and needed a wedding dress cleaned next day. So before I even show up, I called and asked if they could do it with such short notice and made it clear that I was bringing in a wedding dress and the woman on the phone said yes no problem. So I grab my dress and drive down. When I get there and turn in my dress, they then said they can't do a wedding dress with such short notice. I said I literally called 30 minutes ago before I came over, and they said they don't remember the phone call. I had to go back to my car, grab my phone and show them that I called and how long we spoke as the lady on the right looked on knowing we spoke on the phone prior to us wasting any of our time. Total waste and frustrating isn't even the word! read more

Very quick and affordable service. I admit I only went to Bills once but I dropped off three items needing to have some items sewn on. At $12 this was a deal to get some emblems sewn on and most of all sewn on correctly. If you see me parking in their lot I am going to Bills and not the adult video store next door. Not that there is anything wrong with that. For real if I need anything done to my uniform Bills will be my go to as some of the other alteration shops in this area charge a ridiculous amount. I would give five stars but I am waiting to judge their dry cleaning service first. read more

Love this place. I'm in the military so I often have to have uniforms dry cleaned, repair, or tailored and this is my go to spot. Always polite and courteous and they have same day service as well! I've also taken some jogger pants and sweaters for repair here as well and they did a wonderful job. Best part is that they're so close to Ft. Meade! read more

How do they do alterations but won't cut a stripe off a patch. I've never seen a patch with less than 3 stripes but yeah I need 2 stripes. The exchange has already done it for me and it looks fine. read more

They do their best to accommodate your needs. They are reasonably priced and known as the shop to see when you are in a tailor-bind

They are kind and most of all professional in ensuring your items are managed with care. My husband and I take things from uniforms to items requiring hemming to repairs. They even sewed light blocking panels to my curtains. Perfect and detailed. read more

I love Bill's cleaners! Instead of having to wait days to get your dry cleaning they will have it done the next day and sometimes you can get it done same day. All my clothes look very nice and they have fixed my pants when the hems have come loose. I haven't tried the tailoring services other than fixing the hem but I have some pants to take in so I will try it soon. Can be a little hard to park here but they do have 5 minute parking up in front and some parking on the side. I'm always in and out and the staff is very friendly. read more

These guys do a great job and have decent prices. If you're at Fort Meade, do NOT go to the place on post. They are a hack job for sure. Bill's is right outside the gate so it's not that far out of the way and the frustration you'll save yourself more than makes up for it. They're capable and friendly and have been on time with everything I've ever taken them. read more

Expensive but great service. I would get anything tailored or altered here, knowing it would get done right the first time. I would recommend if you are jut doing dry cleaning that you do it at zips or somewhere similar as it is must cheaper. read more

I go out of my way to use Bill's. They are friendly, fast, and they do a great job with tailoring. Alterations are done in about two days. They have shoe repair too. Parking isn't great, but it is worth the hassle. Prices are comparable with any dry cleaning establishment. read more

Really reliable and high quality Cleaners!! Went here to get a dress hemmed. It was a tricky dress with a sequined bottom and pleating. But they did such a great job! The owner, Gina is always pleasant and so friendly! She even remembers my dog's name, so I love taking my dog there with me:). 5 stars! 1 out of 3 cleaners that I've been to that does next day service! Love!!! Always friendly, price is fine! Love it.

I was torn between three or four stars after I dropped off my uniforms and came out having to go back... needless to say, the professionalism and courteous service are among the best in the area. so decidedly all FIVE stars is in order as ALL issues were fixed and no questions asked (ie.. hassle free service!)... I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! I appreciate the expedited service to correct the issues especially since I had additional items to get done...in kind of a rush at that.. Thanks "Bill's"!!! Or as they say in the Navy "BZ"!! read more

I've been going to Bill's for years. I had a formal dress altered there and it was a disaster. The seamstress never pinned the dress, she used fabric chalk and went on her way. The dress was perfect in 3 quadrants. The front left side was a tad too long, but not long enough that she could fix it, Gina (who works there) even told me not to have her fix it because more cutting would mean it would then be too short. SO I've gone there for years... no reduction in price for the poorly altered dress, even though I explained to them that the alteration could not be fixed. A few months back, I took a running suit there and one leg was shorter than the other. Since I pinned it, I figured it was my error... now I know better. On this same visit, I had another dress pressed. Supposedly 3 times. Every time I went back, it looked like it did when I left it there. First answer was no problem, we'll do it again. The second answer was that their bags weren't big enough for the dress and that's why it was getting wrinkled. (Really? They do wedding dresses.) So they supposedly did it a 3rd time, this time, they blamed the wrinkles on the dress. They said it was the material. HOWEVER, the other dress (same material) was pressed and didn't look wrinkled. I am seriously disappointed in their handling of this. Until now, I LOVED them. Friendly greeting, great outcomes. This shocked me and sadly disappointed me. read more
