He was friendly and professional, didn't try to upsell anything. I opted to fix, but Austin didn't have the correct size of compressor. He made a call to a co- worker, Isaac, who had the correct and offered to drop it off. Thank you Isaac! Once we had the part, Austin installed and patiently waited sitting on the kitchen floor for it to be filled with coolant (I think that's what it was). Anyhoo, great experience and would not hesitate to use them again.

I would most likely not call on Prime Appliance again. Their $89 diagnosis for our known problem…read morewith an old hinge on a Bosch wall oven involved no examination of the actual internal hinges or appliance. Further they were barely any help at all to try to source new parts (did most of the legwork myself). Instead they stuck a heavy wrench tool between hinge where the door meets the oven body and applied body weight pressure against the door -- which they said has worked for other customers it did absolutely nothing at all to fix our issue except to make everything worse. Then they spent the next 15 minutes telling me to consider a new $3000+ unit.

Went to get the part and repaired it in no time. I would be great if they carried the universal part on the truck and carried a cordless vacuum for cleanup. I realize this was lost revenue for Lamar's Appliance Repair, but I appreciate their honesty diagnosing the problem and being truthful that we were better off getting a new fridge instead of repairing it. Replacing the broken piece would have cost nearly as much as a new refrigerator, but that was also money they would not earn from us. I really appreciate that they looked up any possible warranty angle on the compressor as well. Like I said above, if you need an appliance service / repaired, give Lamar's Appliance Repair a try!

My fridge died on a Saturday morning, he texted me on Sunday to set an appointment, but then over text asked me some questions like how old it was and what sounds it was making. He told me that my fridge was old enough that it would probably be cheaper to just replace it, and offered to cancel our newly-made appointment. It has been a long time since I have worked with someone willing to be up front and help me instead of actively seeking to charge me for the slightest amount of their time. Thank you!!!

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience with Bill's Appliance Service was so…read moredisappointing, I feel the need to share it. From the start, this company has been a nightmare to deal with. They repeatedly canceled appointments at the last minute, often with no explanation or warning. Each time I tried to reschedule, I was either pushed out weeks or given vague time windows that were also later canceled. There's only one technician, and it's clear they're overwhelmed, but that still doesn't justify how rude and unprofessional the phone staff are. When I expressed my understandable frustration over yet another cancellation, they actually told me I was "not being respectful." Really? What happened to listening to your customers and understanding their point of view? It's clear they don't care about their customers at all--no accountability, no apology, just defensiveness and attitude. I later checked their reviews (wish I had done it sooner) and saw nothing but 1-star ratings. It's honestly no surprise. If you value your time, your money, and basic respect, avoid Bill's Appliance Service at all costs.

Apparently, detergents were made even more concentrated at the beginning of the pandemic. Go figure. This cause extra suds and issues. The impressive thing was the way Dakota went through the details. Showing the not easily visible water marks showing where the water came from and what could have caused it. That and a more general discussion on our other kitchen appliances was easily worth what I had to pay to get the information. As one of only two LG certified repair shops locally, it was good to see the caliber of people at Bill's in case I need to use them again.
