When it came to coming up with our design and our quote, there was no upselling which was a breath of fresh air. The price was beyond fair for the work they did. Daniel is not only knowledgeable but also really listens well to what you have in mind. He presented a fair quote towards the end of his visit and took the time to explain it in detail and to answer questions. The demo team was out the very next week to tear down the old wooden patio cover and to install a new fascia board so that the new patio cover could be properly and securely installed. Availability was excellent to say the least! Installation occurred the next week following the rainy weather. Both the demo and install team were top notch, unobtrusive and conscientious about their work. I couldn't ask for anything more from these teams and the finish product is a thing of beauty!! I am glad I will not have to paint it ever again or worry about termite damage or fire hazard like the old wood patio cover. Every one of the employees that i interacted with were kind, patient and knowledgeable. From Betty in the office to Daniel and Eli in the field and as I said above, the demo, delivery and install teams. You will be pleased you selected Golden Patio for your project! Nothing to worry about once you make the initial call.

During my research for a pergola cover replacement and a more waterproof patio cover, I found 4K Patios, and I couldn't be happier that I did. Rather than just swapping panels, the team replaced the entire pergola structure, essentially giving us a brand-new patio cover. Our 13x14 outdoor living space took them less than a couple of days to install from start to finish. The materials feel truly high quality, and the roof is 100% waterproof, which finally allowed us to add an outdoor ceiling fan with confidence. Choosing the bronze tint was a game changer it noticeably reduces the heat underneath, making the space usable even during peak summer. Huge thank you to Joe, who stayed on the phone with me to answer every question about the materials, options, and installation process. If you're looking for a pergola upgrade, patio cover installation, or a waterproof cover for your backyard, I highly recommend Joe and his team at 4K Patios!

We needed a custom cantilever aluminum patio cover with an overhang that would provide both shade and style, and they delivered flawlessly. What stood out the most was their 3D design process--it allowed us to see exactly how our cantilever pergola would look before construction began. The final result was even better than we imagined! We chose a solid insulated roof, and it keeps our patio cool even on the hottest days. The team also installed recessed lighting and a ceiling fan, which made a huge difference in functionality. Joe was extremely knowledgeable and very competitive with his pricing, honest, and always kept us informed throughout the project. If you're considering a cantilevered aluminum pergola, patio cover, or carport, this is the company to trust. Professional, efficient, and high-quality work--I highly recommend 4K Patios to anyone looking to enhance their outdoor living space!

I found Vinyl Fence Mart to be extremely competitive in terms of price. I got four estimates, one from the big name LA company that starts with a "G" that advertises everywhere in So. CA. If you're looking for a fence, you probably have seen their ads or received a flyer in the mail from them. I really don't know how these guys are in business for so many years based on the price they quoted. I guess some customers just make one call and go with that company. That company's quote was about 45% higher than the other 2 estimates I got for similar type of vinyl fence. Another quote was from a nationwide vinyl fence company that was about 25% higher than the two lowest estimates I received. The last two reasonable quotes were very similar in price. I ultimately selected Vinyl Fence Mart based on the online reviews and the responsiveness of the salesperson, Edgar. Vinyl Fence Mart is a wholesaler and installer of vinyl fence products and sells material to other installers. Since they are a supplier, buying vinyl fence products in bulk, they are able to pass the saving along to their customers. The installation crew was highly professional. The fence was installed as quoted and straight as an arrow. The crew did a great job cleaning up after the first day and on the second day when the job was completed. The crew kept me abreast throughout the installation. There was a tricky installation area around a corner and closing the gap between two block walls of different heights next to a row of Ficus trees. We discussed the installation options and how it would look after they completed this part of the fence installation. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. See the attached corner pic next to the Ficus tree, which admittedly doesn't do it justice. As with any service or item that is purchased a big part of customer satisfaction is determined after the service is provided or item is purchased. How is the company follow through on the warranty issues or addressing other issues that come up? On this front, I couldn't be happier. Seven months after the installation an issue came up and I contacted Edgar, who I worked with on the estimate and scheduling the installation. I explained that the gate was not latching properly and brought up a couple of other cosmetic issues. He never once questioned or delayed the need to send a technician out to address the items. The technician, Pedro, stopped yesterday to adjust the gate and address a couple of cosmetic issues. Pedro was professional and said several times prior to starting the work, "I want to make sure I address everything and make sure you're a happy with my work/repairs." When he was completed, he again asked me, "is this okay and is there anything else you would like me to do." I said no, it looks great. I would highly recommend Vinyl Fence Mart for anyone who is interested in having a vinyl fence installed in the greater Los Angeles area.

The experience was outstanding from start to finish. After obtaining two other bids, it was clear that Jeff Owens was the right contractor for the job. His knowledge and professionalism were unmatched. Had we gone with the first contractor, we would have ended up with a non-insulated cover that couldn't be walked on--creating major problems (and added costs) down the line when it came time to repaint the second story of the house. Thanks to Jeff's guidance, we avoided that entirely with an insulated cover. As homeowners without construction expertise, we rely heavily on the integrity and guidance of our contractor. With Jeff, we felt completely at ease--he handled every detail with care and respected the trust we placed in him. His crew was punctual, courteous, hardworking, and kept the backyard clean. Jeff personally oversaw the entire project. He made thoughtful recommendations that others missed, potentially saving us from future surprises and costly change orders. Everything he said he would do--he did, and more. He even met our timeline and had the cover installed before the 4th of July, just as he promised. Any time I had a question, Jeff answered his phone or returned the call within the hour. That kind of old-school work ethic and customer service is rare these days. This was one of the best home improvement experiences we've had since moving to the Santa Clarita Valley. If you're looking for a reliable, experienced professional for your patio cover or pergola project, I highly recommend Jeff and his team at MTCO. Also, aluminum EliteWood has the look of wood but far outlasts wood--my parents' old pergola was completely riddled with termites. Don't throw good money after bad with wood. I'm confident you'll be thrilled with the results of an EliteWood product. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to see our patio cover before making a decision.

He was the only one that would place the footings on our paver patio. all other companies wanted to place the footings on the grass next to the patio. once the permit was approved, there was an added requirement of placing fire sprinklers on the patio cover! jeff worked with the city and a fire inspector to remove this nonsensical requirement which saved time and money. when it came time to place the footings, the pavers were removed carefully and set aside. once the footings were in place, you couldn't even tell they were removed. he and his helper also left our yard tidy and organized at the end of each day. overall, we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. jeff was meticulous, reliable, and a true professional. highly recommend!

Got an estimate and contract from Business Manager Jenny. Drew, the owner of Alummworks, took measurements, and offered good advice. Installation was set for 12-19 2025. Crew came early and got to work. They looked organized and knew what to do. Later noticed that there were two spots on wall where one beam was to be attached.. The foreman, Kevin, said they made a mistake with where it went. Stucco was ruined but too late. Came out a minutes later and they had drilled the other side then moved it back to the original spot!! Three times and first time was correct. A cover is extruded metal. Made to be straight and square. There is NO way to make it go in ANY other direction. Damage was done. They cut notch in roof fascia for clearance. Fascia had been cut for the two wrong spots and wood scraps stuck on with caulking. The beam was making contact with fascia allowing for wood rot when wet. Installation started 12-19, finished 12-20, Kevin said that ours was the last job before their holiday vacation. I contacted Drew 12-22. He left for holidays. He returned 1-5 and came 1-9. I looked at the cover and saw many small holes on the other attached beam that were plugged with caps. When Drew came I asked what they were. He said he did not know. Later saw that those holes are to attach the roof to the main beam. 32 holes total. They measured wrong and kept drilling wrong holes. Instead of realizing the beam was ruined the decision was made to install, plug holes, and not say anything. I started to repair the stucco. Kevin plugged 12 holes. Sloppy repair so I removed it. There was no wood inside the wall and the beam was not attached. I opened the inside wall. NO wood and the beam attached with 1 out of 6 bolts. When it was installed they did not hit wood so decision was made to use only one and not say anything. With an issue like that work should be stopped and a different approach used. I never would have found out except for the ruined stucco. Leaving it like that was completely unsafe to our personal safety and our house. I contacted Drew who dismissed it, defended Kevin, and called it "embarrassing". When I sent photos his attitude changed. He didn't come to look but suggested a "fix" that was not doable with broken stucco and cover assembled. I'm sure he understood what happened and what was needed to fix. At this point I had NO confidence in Alumworks. I made a wood "plate" fastened to the framing to surround the un-attached beam fasteners and fill with construction adhesive inside the wall. Long complicated repair that was the ONLY way outside of disassembling the entire cover. I had all stucco repaired and a hand applied finish done. House is sprayed stucco so the repair does not match. I cut a gap in the fascia around the beam and replaced the sloppy "repair" wood pieces. Over 40 hours fixing these issues. I messaged Alumworks and shared photos of repairs. Jenny responded someone would get back to me. Weeks ago. No contact since. I don't like to leave negative reviews for small businesses. This was such a blatant surprise I have no choice. The 4K materials and Solara louvered roof are very well made and what we envisioned. Unfortunately the Alumworks installation and the complete lack of respect for us and our home, concern for their work, and followup is horrible. I am angry that I had to finish job I paid for. I overpaid for what was promised and contracted for. The bad beam and stucco will be a reminder and the installation will always be suspect. This is also an indicator that the warranty with Alumworks is worthless. This was supposed to be a fun purchase. We are completely disappointed. This was not the first cover this crew installed. Makes you wonder about them all.

We were looking to make it a bit more contemporary. With Pearl's help we designed a modern structure covered with stucco and some wood work on top of it for some contrast.
