I just got my pool table refelted. I bought my pool table from the 1604, San Antonio store. I bought it 4 years ago and my family and I have enjoyed it so much. The process was easy and delivery was pretty quick and the guys that brought it out and set it up were good. Today like I said they came out to put new felt on my table. I messed up the old felt by mistake and I also wanted to change the color. The gentlemen that came to do the work kept in great contact with me and were very professional! I loved the look of the location the moment I walked in. Amazing pool tables with various color felts, different types of billiard balls and, in the far right corner, a wall full of pool cues to choose from. I am just getting started, So I purchased a McDermott L1 Lucky pool cue for $49! The price was great! The pool cue was a 19oz which I am noticing is a good weight, but shouldn't be a first choice for someone without good control over where they will be striking the cue ball. I tried my friend's 20 oz and was much happier. I will be going back to get another one for two reasons: 1) The man at the counter was friendly, did not try to upsell too much, and sold me a quality pool cue that he let me try out at the table. 2) He didnt try to sell me a $250 case for my $50 cue and focused on a carry handle pool case that has the store name on the cover for $19.99. Since he didnt try to sell me the most expensive item in the store without asking me what I was looking for I plan to go buy one if their higher quality pool cues with a very nice case. I recommend coming here. Ive been to some billiard stores where you get treated like you don't belong if you don't buy the most expensive item in the house. great customer service, high end products!!! delivery guys were so careful with my order, I had a good experience though all my purchase.

My husband and I are in the market for a new pool table and all the accessories that go along with it. We walked into the store and spent about 10 minutes looking at cues and the table. Not one person greeted us or said hello, let alone if they could offer assistance. From what it looked like they had two people working and one was busy helping a family (by the door and watched us walk in/out) and another chatting casually. It's refreshing that there are businesses still out there who are customer oriented and pay attention to the basics of good customer service. I spoke with Nate who I scheduled the transport with he followed up a day prior to ensure all was set for transport, contacted me to reschedule. Chris contacted me the day prior to reschedule transport to verify. Chris and Logan were courteous and professional. We're glad we used Billiard Factory the move was efficient easy and Chris and Nate took their time and ensured the table was setup correctly. I purchased a pool table from this store a few months back and I was (and continue to be) really impressed by the level of service, their level of knowledge, and the fairness of their prices. My wife and I had gone into the store several times prior to purchasing the pool table, and we never got the sense that we were being pushed to make a purchase; each time they took the time to ensure our questions were answered. Lastly, even after we purchased the pool table, they were able to help us get a small can of of the stain/finish from the manufacturer, as on of our friends (who is no longer allowed in the vicinity of the pool table) managed to chip the edge of the table due to a careless/over-aggressive break. I went into the store to look For an airhockey table for my kids. I went in and asked if they had any and the guy just pointed and said over there. There were 2 options one for 700 and another for 1300. Starring at the tables you would think the sales guy would come over but no. He was to busy doing nothing. There were 2 guys behind the pay counter talking. I then asked if he could plug in the table. Again attitude. I left really disappointed because more then likely I would had bought the 700 unit. Instead I went to academy and bought their air hockey and Foosball for 600 total. I know this airhockey table isn't as nice. But the service at academy was much better. And I'm not gong to spend my money where people can't even be nice. read more

I went into the store to inquire about having a new felt put on my table. I was helped by Brian, who was extremely knowledgable and very courteous. After answering all of my questions, Brian helped me choose the appropriate felt And we set up an appointment. When the guys (Chris and Moses) came to my house (right on schedule), they were very professional. I was second guessing my color choice, and Moses drove back to get a second color that I had been considering, so that I could compare the two, in my home side by side. They didn't want to take a chance that I might not be satisfied with my choice. That was over and above what I expected! They leveled my table perfectly, and even pulled the rug tight that was under the table. I really felt that they took pride in their job and how it reflected on the company. I don't usually bother to leave a review, but I was so impressed that I felt compelled to leave one. We went to 2 other places in and around San Antonio (Pete's in SA and Custom Pool Tables in New Braunfels) neither of them could hold a stick (or que ) to Pete and Brian at the Billiard Factory. We made 3 separate visits, they always politely and professionally (with no pressure) answered our questions. This was a no brainer after all of our research...we wished we had started here. In a mere 5 days, our table was delivered and installed. Even the guys who delivered were a pleasure to work with. I rarely do reviews but felt compelled to let others know that for a piece of sport furniture/equipment of heirloom quality and salespeople that know their business (and how to treat you), you could do no better than The Billiard Factory. read more
