Great IKEA! I've only gone on weekdays so I'm not sure if it's crazy on weekends, but on weekdays it's been great and not crowded. Good showroom and normal selection in the store. I looked online before going and most items were in stock at this location. I do think there have been some price increases compared to years ago with IKEA, but in my opinion they still have awesome finds and nice design with good/acceptable quality. I think you just have to know what you're needing before going in because there's definitely a lot of opportunity for impulse shopping. The have a cafe and a little snack area similar to other ikeas.

I absolutely love IKEA and feel so grateful to have one in San Antonio! This IKEA location has now been open for a couple of years (I think it opened during the pandemic) and it's by far my favorite IKEA store in Texas. Before the opening of this location many of us had to either drive to Round Rock or Houston to get some IKEA furniture which was a pain in the butt. Since their opening, this location has stayed super consistent and they almost always have everything you are looking for in stock and the store stays very well organized. Please keep in mind that I NEVER visit this store over a weekend or during major holidays. However, if you visit on a weekday I can assure you, you'll have the most amazing experience and won't feel like you are fighting the crowds. If you are looking for a great deal, they have a section of returned items or things that have a small scratch or have been opened. Usually those items are about 50% off and many of them are in great condition. I also like that they offer curbside pick-up which is great for those of us who don't feel like fighting the crowds and already know what you want. Highly recommend this location but please keep in mind that currently i35 is under construction so you might have a little trouble getting in and out of this place during rush hours.

Came here for more affordable home file organization and did not disappoint. I got magazine file and unlabeled banker box, got clothes hanging cover for my move next month. Free $0.99 bag for every ten items. Great service and better store section labels for where to go. IKEA is a good choice for more affordable simple but better aesthetic practical home items.

Everytime I go to IKEA, I go for the meatballs and end up coming up with ideas to redecorate my entire home. They always have sales in their candles and art sections and they smell and look great. The service is important and they take care of their customers one year they had fake snow falling off their roof during holidays. The value is obvious and they are cheaper than even target. If you can't find what you need in the store you can get it delivered. I go back often and enjoy this place!

Always a good place to stop in for ideas! I've been to this IKEA a number of times and have never had a bad experience. The restrooms are always clean, the dining areas are always quick with your orders, the food is inexpensive but really yummy, and the store is almost always stocked with what you're looking for. If they don't have what you need, they're great about shipping it to the store or helping you put it on hold at the Roundrock location if you're willing to make the drive. I've purchased a couple of display cases, Billy bookshelves, and Lack tables over the years and have had minimal issues. The display cases are sleek and look great in our living room and I've turned the Lack tables into a shelving unit of sorts after a few years of using them as side tables. The only two complaints I really have are the price almost doubling on the display cases recently, and my most recent Billy bookshelf. The pop in brads holding up the shelves themselves have broken through the particle board frame from the weight of the books. I've not had this issue before, but I've noticed that the design has been updated ever so slightly from my older Billy bookshelves. Maybe I got a bad product, or maybe the new design just isn't as reliable. Either way, it sucks that the shelf collapsed. Overall, I'd recommend this IKEA for its cleanliness and that fact that they're almost always stocked. Always keep in mind that a lot of their stuff is particle board which can get dinged up pretty easily, but that's what makes those products so cheap. If nothing else, it's always fun to stop in to get some interior decorating ideas!

I tried the salmon fillet ($9), cod ($8), meatballs, and plantains ($4)! The cod was my favorite. It was flavorful, moist and had a nice crumb on top! You can substitute the peas for the mixed veggies if you would like. The salmon fillet was smaller than the picture shows and a little more dry. Make sure you get the sauce! Meatballs are flavorful as always! The plantains were delicious! Very expensive at $1 per small slice, but so much flavorful and sweetness. I went in Friday when they have 50% off hot entrees. Based on the quality and portion of food, I think the 50% price is reasonable! A little pricy if you were to buy it full price. If you go on Tuesdays, all entree are $3.99! I also got a veggie dog. It looked like the price went back down to 60 cents, but that's because you have to buy the toppings (fried onions and pickled red onions) separately. This seems a little misleading but they did update the price photo with just a plain veggie dog. I was just confused haha

Service was friendly! Knowledgeable food servers. Great food. I had the baked cod with peas and mashed potatoes. Not a lot to choose from but what they have is all good, healthy options. Free coffee with family member card! Great value all around.

We went on a Wednesday in the middle of the week IKEA was literally dead probably the best time to go. They have some really beautiful furniture you can order it and assembled or you can purchase it and have them deliver it and assemble it for you. It's pretty simple They've got some thing for everybody. Everything is so cheek and in style and the prices are seriously reasonable We went and ate at the Swedish restaurant and I finally got to try the Swedish meatballs set up and wanting to try for years and they are amazing. It's kind of like a Lubys, will you get in line and get your tray and silverware and go to the line very nice and clean restaurant tables are nice and clean as well. Every staff we encountered was super nice as well since we were new to IKEA they helped us check out with our IKEA family group app, which helps save us some money on our purchase will definitely going back to IKEA not just for furniture, kitchen, utensils, bathroom, necessities, bed sheets, and of course they're awesome Swedish meatball plate.

Going to Ikea is like visiting a psychotic relative. You want to go but you never know how the visit will go. On a recent Sunday afternoon, the crowds were manageable and the shopping experience was at "normal" levels of frustrating. The one item we specifically went for was suddenly our of stock. But we bought some odds and ends including a fantastic bath mat. Overall value: average Ambiance: Swedish Overall cleanliness: above average

The image shows a light wood table with several plates of food and desserts at IKEA in Live Oak, TX. There are plates with meatballs, mashed potatoes, fish fillets with peas, and a slice of chocolate cake. A tray holds additional food items, including a salad and a piece of chocolate cake. Drinks, including water and a pink beverage, are also present. The table setting includes napkins, utensils, and a hand holding a glass of pink drink.

Pro tip, go on Fridays for half off hot entrees during lunch! Each plate was around $5! We tried: -Meatballs 4.5/5: tried and true! a swedish staple and so yummy. The lingonberry sauce pairs well and the mashed potatoes are saved by the generous helping of gravy. -Salmon 3/5: very dry and flavorless. Saved by the tomato-based sauced poured on top -Cod 5/5: SO GOOD! Our favorite! well seasoned and tender. All of these come with some myriad of forgettable and tasteless steamed veggies (peas, green beans, zucchini) and mashed potatoes. Sides: -Plantains 5/5 : very yummy! the side is around $3 for 4 pieces and these are addicting. Not too sweet, fried to perfection while still maintaing a good bite. -Mac n cheese 2/5: Dense and gummy, left a film in my mouth. Poor mouth feel. Dessert: -chocolate cake 4/5: surprisingly very yummy! -yogurt cone 5/5: for $1.50 this was great deal and very light and refreshing. Drinks: -pear soda: so good. they have such fun soda flavors to mix and match -coffee: gas station coffee-esque. could hit the spot if you really need a pick-me-up. -Icees: Lemon icee was good! i think ikea is the only place you can get such fun icee flavors. There's a food court midway through the store and a mini food area after checkout. The food court had main entrees, dessert, and plenty of seating. The mini food court has drinks and desserts you can take to go, as well as hot dogs.

this store was amazing. everyone was so helpful and eager to assist when asked a question. prices were incredible and the assortment was insane. it was so clean and organized very neatly. even the bathrooms were perfect and they have free feminine products (pads and tampons) in the ladies bathroom. customer service is just top tier. onto the lil food section. Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes covered in that cream sauce was very yummy for food in an ikea. chicken tender plate with fries were really good as well. the crunch on those tenders were something else. garlic toast was a 10/10. i wasn't a big fan of the mac n cheese and probably wouldn't get it again. the chocolate cake and the almond crunch were delicious. i didn't really like the apple one because the texture of it was just too mushy and felt weird being cold, it wasn't an issue with flavor. if going again my order would be the chicken tender plate with fries, side of Swedish meatballs, slice of garlic toast, and a slice of chocolate cake for dessert.

They have many unique items at a fair price. It takes one a while to go through the place looking at everything.

IKEA is jumping on the no cashier lines open bandwagon. Came in today and had the line for self checkout going into the warehouse.

On December 8th I purchased a three piece bedroom set, on the 11th the furniture was delivered. When I inspected the furniture I noticed clusters of nail size holes throughout the wood. (Head/Foot board, the dresser, the mirror, and the nightstand) I called Mega and explained the situation, sent them pictures, and now I'm getting the run around from them, the manager won't call me back, no resolutions yet, except for telling me the holes are part of the aesthetic of the furniture. Really!?! I asked them if this is the case, can they at least give me some kind of discount off the amount I paid, it would only be right, and satisfy a long time customer. As of right now, they keep telling me the approval needs to be made by the general manager, but I can't get the manager to call me back. So I'm writing this because of frustration and disappointment from a company that has furnished my home on a number of occasions, and now has turned their backs on me. Because of this I will never shop at Mega Furniture again!!!!
