Long story short, my experience was wonderful, i definitely loved that Floyd helped me quickly with getting my car fixed and giving me a loaner. Upon purchasing my Cadillac XT5 (2019) with 12,450 mileage (which has a warranty), I was assured that if any issues arose within the first two weeks of purchase, give him a call. I attempted to contact him via text and numerous calls three days after the purchase regarding the incredibly LOUD squeaking / squealing breaks (which I have since researched to be a known customer complaint for the Cadillac XT5's models) . After a week and a half of eluded calls Venson Bryant finally agreed to send me to the auto repair in which their Carite (Redford) uses Redford Auto Repair on 7 mile / Beech. Should of rung bells...but I went twice, and surprisingly (not) they couldn't hear any HARSH squeaking, as they test drove it, although I did very clearly standing some 20 feet away. The conversation from Venson was very rude and unprofessional in which he yelled and then proceeded to hang up on me. Nonetheless, they refused in making the repair to rectify the HORRIBY LOUD SQUEAKING breaks. I also inquired about the last oil change, since a sticker was not visible on the windshield, to which he replied he wasn't sure. Yet, less than a month later, the oil light is on. However, I will be making a formal complaint with the Better Buisness Bureau regarding improper car care / preventative maintenance prior to sale, disregard and unprofessionalism concerning customer car service needs. - Mistreated School Teacher

I recently purchased my second car here, after the first met it's demise in an accident (RIP to my Malibu...we had some fun together.). Looking for a new car out of necessity and not choice can be a stressful experience. But coming here made it smooth as possible. I hadn't stepped foot on the lot in 5 years but the moment I returned they recognized me not only by name but remembering what kind of car I bought from them previously. Impressive! :) The lot isn't huge, but the inventory is always rotating. I was able to find a few good options that fit what I was looking for. Ray and Eric gave me open and honest assessments of each vehicle and, despite what other reviews have said, the Car Fax report was readily available to see for each of them. I test drove a couple options, and finally settled on an Impala that was in great shape with low mileage. The car looked great but I mentioned aloud how I wished it had a spoiler to look a little more sporty. The guys took note of my comment and immediately offered to work with me to get a spoiler ordered and put on, so I could have just the car I wanted. Fast and easy! After that they were able to take care of all the paperwork and title transfer, all I had to do was come back and pick up the car. One of the best things offers an excellent warranty on all of their vehicles that covers all major (and a lot of minor) issues. It came to good use with my old car, when the transmission needed replacing and I didn't have to come out of pocket so much as a penny for it! The warranty is not something you often find with a used vehicle, and it's definitely nice to have that extra peace of mind. Thanks Certified Motors for turning an initially stressful situation into a smooth one. I always know I'm in good hands here.

If they aren't equipped to fix something, they won't make something up just to get more money out of you. They'll tell you straight-up, and they'll refer you to an honest shop who can fix what's needed. Every place we've gone they've recommended has been great, especially when you mention the Asher's name. This is the only place I will go for oil changes or minor work. They are a family-owned, small business, so their prices may be a little higher for some services than the corporate places, but you can be sure no one is pressuring them to upsell you on things you don't need, and you get to support a deserving local business. We go to them for all our car advice and have even had times when they've fixed small things for free (like the service I had the other day where there was a scary rattling noise I wanted them to check out-turned out to be something that was just loose. They fixed it with no charge) where other places would make something up to get more money. If you're in the Northville area, or anywhere even remotely nearby, here's a garage you can actually trust. She finished paying for the repairs in mid-April. She has followed up with Issam and other individuals at this business just about every week since and has been told that they will be done soon each time; however, the repairs have not been completed and the vehicle returned to her at the time of this writing, June 23. In addition, the vehicle was vandalized (i.e. the back seats were pulled out and left in an unnatural position, there was trash strewn about, and the title was stolen). My sister was not informed of the incident and discovered the issue herself only when she came to check on the status of the repairs on the vehicle in person on May 20th. Issam stated that he would not put the seats back where they should be. In Michigan, MCL 256.541, often called the Garage Keeper's Liability Act states, "Whenever any damage shall be done to any motor vehicle while in the possession or under the care, custody or control of the owner, his agent or servant, or the keeper of any public garage or other establishment where such vehicle shall have been accepted for hire or gain, proof of such damage shall be prima facie evidence that such damage was the result of the negligent act of such owner or keeper of the place where such vehicle was stored." My sister filed a police report. My sister has also noticed that repair work has been completed on serveral vehicles that came in after hers, even one owned by a family friend multiple times. She has requested a refund to be able to take the needed repair work to a shop that will complete the repairs in a timely manner; however, Abe1 Auto Repair would not agree to this. Her vehicle is essentially being held hostage. The next step is to reach out to the Better Business Bureau and regulatory bodies to seek resolution.

I was told to bring the truck in at 10am and that I'd need to approve a $250 inspection fee upfront, even though I have a premium care warranty. They couldn't clearly explain what would or wouldn't be covered. I dropped the vehicle off at 9am and was promised a call in the afternoon with an update. No one called. I had to follow up myself at 2pm, and again at 4:30pm after being left on hold. By the end of the day, I was told they hadn't done anything on the truck. No inspection, no real progress, and no communication. I then went to pick up my vehicle, and no one apologized or explained anything. No communication, no accountability, and no respect for customers' time. Completely unacceptable experience. I won't be coming back.
