That's fine, but when I called to inquire about one, their response was: "That was already sold a while ago.". Me: "Why is it still on CL?" "I haven't had time to remove it." Me: "You just wasted my time and yours." Disappointing -- I made the time to search for something, was interested enough to follow up only to find that it was gone. If the seller doesn't respect prospective customers enough to keep ads up to date before they get their business, you have to wonder how they treat people after the check is cashed. I'm really glad I called before wasting even more time going there. And how long does it take someone who regularly uses CL to delete an ad? A few clicks of a mouse/less than a minute. They get one star for answering the phone, but I won't bother to call again. There are a LOT of other car stores in the metro area.

Seemed very honest and forthright with me. I left a deposit to buy the car the next day but called back to the dealership to ask if I could pick up my deposit and cancel due to another car that I was interested in. Michael the owner took my call and told me not a problem and that there would not be any penalty or cancellation charge. When picking up the car the next day I was treated very well by Eddie and Michael. Michael was very welcoming and warm to my daughter and I. While I was filling out my paperwork he was asking my little girl about school and then gave her some money and told her she could have it if she promised to read a book everyday. Again, I can not speak to the car itself, but I am aware of the car I was buying and looked it over for anything that caught my eye. I poured over the engine looking for any signs of leaking or suspiciously new parts and found none. The car I bought was exactly what Eddie told me it was. This was certainly not a giant corporate dealership, so it lacked some amenities but it was a good sized lot with a varied selection of vehicles at many price points. The casual feel of the place helped put me at ease as I tend to feel tense in situations where I am making a big purchase. Michael and Eddie, thank you very much and I would certainly recommend this dealership.

Over the years I got tired of fighting with the RHS bulb blowing, every time it rained. So I had to get a whole assembly like the manufacturer intended. So I gps myself here, decent directions. Enter yard, pretty huge, enough places for a 100 cars if everyone showed up to get parts at the same time. I entered through their front door, behind glass security desk a lady charged me the $2 entrance fee, asked me what type of vehicle and gave me a list of what they have on the lot. As per their website this is one of the 3 total lots around Detroit. Their row numbering system was a tad confusing at first, till one of their employees pointed out, that I have to be in the suv section and not the Chrysler section. Found what I needed, and took it off. Went back inside and paid the $23.21 saving me $80 should I have bought online or $120 should I have bought at the dealer. Over all nice experience. If you have an American built vehicle from 1985 to 2010 this is your junk yard. They do have some foreign cars mostly toyotas, 3 1983 Mercedes and a 1981 Volvo 940DL. (All this was noticed while I was searching for my row number lol).

I'm giving Charity Motors an additional half star just because of the mission of the dealership…read more For those of you that haven't heard of Charity Motors, it's a dealership that sales donated cars to the general public slightly below what you would pay at a mainstream manufacturers lot. The car prices can range from $1500 to $9900. I am not sure if they have financing available but I believe they do. The lot is open Monday -Saturday. You browse the lot and if you find a vehicle that you're interested in you go inside the office and tell one the sales people. It's a great no-hassle way to shop. Even if you don't make a purchase the day you browse you can get the VIN # to get a report of the vehicles history.
