I bought a 2023 Ford F450 with a 6.7L the high-pressure fuel pump went out. The pump is in the…read moreengine under the air intake. With out this fuel pump the fuel cannot be injected into the cylinders at a high enough pressure. The service manager informed me that Ford will not cover this part under the warranty because there may have been water in the fuel. Funny thing is that Ford put a fuel water separator in the fuel line to remove any water from getting to the engine. Another funny fact is that Ford knows that water is common especially in diesel. Ford has known about this issue for years and has failed to fix this issue putting this 10,000.00 dollar cost back on us the customer when it is their design that is bad and their fault that this German made part is still being used in their vehicles. Now I'm stuck with a huge paper weight that is costing me 1100.00 a month in loan payment and 2000.00 a month in insurance payment's and 300.00 a month in trailer payments all not getting paid, because Ford refuses to take responsibility and fix this issue.
