    Bought my last car from them. Keep in mind these are totaled vehicles and they are not perfect. But a good buy.

I could tell there was an effort to support me, and I'm grateful for that part of the experience. However, the overall situation ended up being extremely frustrating and costly. My car was kept for two weeks with no clear timeline on when parts would arrive or when repairs would be completed. That lack of information made it impossible to plan, and I had to come out of pocket over $1,200 just to cover transportation in the meantime. What should have been a manageable repair turned into a much bigger financial burden than I expected. What feels unfair is that the delays and uncertainty weren't caused by anything I did, yet I was the one absorbing all the extra costs. There was no offer of support, compensation, or even a realistic estimate to help me prepare. When a customer is without their vehicle for that long, especially without updates or accurate timelines, it creates stress, inconvenience, and unnecessary financial strain. While I appreciate the advisor's personal effort, the overall experience with the repair process was disappointing and ended up costing me far more than it should have. For that reason, I can't give a positive review.

I told her I was heading to the Chrysler dealer to put on a mopar warranty. I drove an hr to see this car. I drove it off the lot right down the street to get tire sensor replaced. They did cover it I have had nothing but issues with my car. The next day i was in bell tire with alignment issues, loose tyrods and bad shocks Then the day after that I was in carite by my house so they could fix the windshield wipers that werent working. they paid for this stuff to be done. I went to the dealer ship only to find out i couldnt pull a warranty on this car from mopar because it came from Canada. Even if it did have a US vin. It took me 4 days working with Chrysler to get a decent warranty because of that. I was so mad i was in tears. I recently had my tires replaced because of the bad ones on there. I noticed a my rpms were too high on the car on a cold start. The odometer was giving me an error before it started and then i kept hearing noises from my engine. Which ended up being because I had no coolant in there. This is all in the span of a month since i have bought it. I took it to the dealership now for repair and they are having issues because my odometer is reading KM but its really mileage. so after few phone calls I decided to pull my own car report from Canada. The car was in a major collision with structural damage. It was Disclosed at the auction where they purchased it.. it doesnt have a salvage title. I paid 19k for this car plus traded in my perfectly fine durango that was still under mopar warranty until this sept. I just wanted a newer old style durango with lower mileage before I moved out of state in the middle of no where. If they would have disclosed this information I would have walked away and kept looking. I was not in a rush. They charged me full clean retail for this car and non stop headaches. I lost days off of work. Plus all the headaches and phone calls. My advice Run!

    Update 2/8 (4): After about a day the dealer called me on 2/7 to talk more about the car. They came…read moredown a bit but still not to where i needed to be. After some additional haggling we got to a price I could agree to. Higher than where I started, but still a deal. I guess what I learned is that CPO vehicles (ESPECIALLY Toyota's) are not in the same 'haggling Ball game' as new cars. Instead of a few thousand off (like with new car) you have to haggle hard for a grand off. I was happy that LaFontaine started working harder to earn my business, and in the end they did. Very happy with my car so far. Thank you! Update - 2/6: Vehicle still available, I showed up in person this time, and offered $750 more on top of my original offer and I'd buy it NOW. Salesmen were more willing to negotiate in person more so than over the phone (noted). However Still unsuccessful in negotiating to the ballpark where I could buy the vehicle. These salesmen are tough, but more willing to work it out in person than on phone. At least I tried again. Good luck to all. Update - 2/5/20: Vehicle still shows available as of 2/5, so, I'm going to go in on Thursday and see if LaFontaine and I can work something out to make a deal happen. Perhaps being there in person will help the negotiations. Overall, unpleasant experience. It really felt like they didn't care to sell me a car as i got nowhere with the negotiations, no counter offers, or call back. I'm looking into buying a CPO 2018 Camry LE. Came in Monday 1/27 to test drive one on the lot. Worked with James Lange. Finished the test drive, enjoyed the experience, and gave James my phone Number, email, and watched him write it all out correctly. He said he'd look into the cost of retrofitting Apple car play (as online said its possible) and would get back to me Tuesday. Left the dealership letting him know i liked the vehicle a lot and looked forward to learning about Apple car play. Got to WEDNESDAY with no contact from him. While shopping around I learned from another dealer that it was possible and FREE to retrofit CarPlay. So, i Called JAMES on Wednesday to talk and he mentioned he sent me an email but it was to wrong address . Regardless, i now wanted to let him know I wanted to make an offer to buy the CPO Camry I test drove. Simply put I offered 10% off the out-the-door price (i offered 18k OTD, instead of 20k OTD) as thats what i am comfortable paying for a used car with 22k miles and fits my budget. I said If he could meet that I would come in THAT day, BUY the vehicle, and put down over 50%. I wasn't willing to budge during our talk because i never once got a counter offer.... the entire conversation was how my offer was "unreasonable due to xyz" over and over with no counter. I Told him thanks for his time and if he could meet my offer to call me back. No call back. So, no sale. It'd be nice to know how close they could get to my offer, but the salesman didn't seem willing to even try.

It only had like 80% capacity, so I had them just change it out with the two-year warranty whatever my main thing is I have been a customer here since 1995? I've always had good service but this time I got Jesse Vu. What an absolute fantastic guy he is, he is a fantastic mechanic I praise and always will. I highly recommend him. Throughout that time, communication was poor and I constantly had to follow up myself for updates. I was never offered a loaner vehicle, which made the situation even more difficult. Instead, I had to rely on a rental, and the reimbursement process was a constant headache that required multiple follow-ups and took far too long to resolve. When I finally got my vehicle back, the experience only got worse. The car was returned with almost no gas, no courtesy oil change after sitting that long, and I was unexpectedly charged for a part with little explanation. The overall lack of care and customer service was very frustrating. I also want to note that my service advisor, Samantha, was consistently dismissive and unprofessional. Her attitude made an already frustrating situation even worse and left me feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously. After months of inconvenience, I expected at least a smooth and respectful experience upon return of my vehicle, but unfortunately that was not the case. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers are treated with more transparency, urgency, and professionalism.

My husband and I were starting the search for a 2 year old lease turn-in on a small SUV - smaller than my Ford Exploder, er, Explorer, at the end of July 2016. As we walked through the used lot, peering in windows, a gentleman passed us by and asked if we needed anything. Hubby said we are just starting, looking for smaller, under $20,000, etc. The guy said "Good luck" and walked away. Really? After a bit, we kept coming back to a 2015 Kia Soul and Mark Reynolds walked by and started chatting - he offered to pull out the Soul and showed us all the bells and whistles that come with this car. I mentioned that my husband needed lots of shoulder room, especially in the back seat, Mark got in the car, with my husband in the front seat, showing how roomy it was for his long legs, how much head room, etc. He offered a quick test drive and off we went dodging around the parking lot, between cars, etc. Mark really answered all my questions at the time, explained about their financing (through a credit union - yes!), we bonded over Ghostbusters and comic book sci fi heroes, sat through a rainstorm, and I got the car for $500 under the sticker in the window (thank you sales!!). After about an hour of paperwork, financing options and cleaning of the car, I drove home a Soul. I would recommend Mark and the LaFontaine team to anyone who wanted my opinion. Thank you Mark - you made what can be a complete nightmare a great experience.
