It was extremely difficult work to chisel out and remove my pop-ups (which were cemented in by the other company) and took 5 visits to completely fix all 19 pop-ups, but Nick had a great attitude and ensured me that he will get my pop-ups working correctly again. I honestly thought that it was hopeless to even try to get the pop-ups working correctly again but Nick pleasantly surprised me. The work was completed without disturbing the new PebbleTec finish. He never gave up on my pool and always seemed very happy to help with pride for his work. He treated my pool with professionalism and competence as if he was working on his own pool. I was referred to Amergency Services from my Mom since Nick is her pool guy and she was very happy with his weekly pool maintenance. A month later I was having problems with my sand filter and once again Nick came out immediately to fix the problem and was extremely knowledgeable and is reasonably priced. If anything happens to my pool or equipment, Nick will be the first person that I will contact for repair!

Do Not Hire This Company!! I shopped around to have my pool…read moretile cleaned. When I called, Jason was very professional and his prices seemed reasonable. He cleaned the tile nicely, and rather quickly. I also had some tile popping loose on the water feature, and even though I'd already hired a contractor to do the tile work, I cancelled it to let Jason of Pristine Pool Tile have the Job. That's when the trouble started. Jason agreed to have the work done in approximately one week. After pulling off the old tile and leaving it in in containers inside the pool, he began to call off, and reschedule the work. No worries, it was still cool outside and we had time. After two weeks of not showing, and rescheduling by text, Jason simply stopped returning my calls and texts. After a month of him avoiding us, my wife called from her phone, and he promised to complete the work. He never did. This caused us a lot of problems and we had to hire another contractor to complete the work. Pristine Pool Tile did not refund any money for the unfinished work.

He had been taking care of pool maintenance himself but this summer the pool wouldn't get clear and stayed green. My son has had bad experiences with contractors so he didn't want to hire anyone. Being an avid yelper I asked him if I could find a pool company to go out and I'd pay for it if the results were not successful. Well, great news! The results were successful so I don't need to cover it :) My son was happy to pay for quality assistance. He thinks he can now handle cleaning for the winter, after getting some advice from the tech. And we will hire Clear as Crystal to do the maintenance next Summer. I really appreciate the willingness to come out, fix the issue, and explain it to my son so he can learn. He is a young man and these experiences are important. Especially as a fairly new home owner and landlord. They charged a reasonable fee and didn't pressure him to sign up for regular service, although like I said, we probably will- at least for the warmer months. One contractor offered a quote over the phone, but then constantly delayed scheduling me for service. Another contractor offered a quote over the phone that was almost 4 times the price of the first quote. Other contractors simply told me they couldn't help or weren't interested. Mike not only specializes in the pebble tec issues, but was considerate, reliable, and did a great job on the actual repair. His price was extremely fair and competitive. He showed up and did exactly what he promised. I would highly recommend using him for any of your service needs. I hope I don't need him again in the near future, but if I do, I won't hesitate to work with him again!

Mike answered the phone himself and based on the the project I described he was able to give me a quote over the phone. He did tell me the quote was based on a real world inspection of the pool and no surprises I didn't tell him about. We picked a tile and Mike told me he would be at my house on October third. Mike showed up on time with two workers. Examined the pool and told me there were no surprises so his quote became firm. For the record, I was concerned because two previous bids were significantly higher and I was worried how his quote could be so much lower. I even asked him about this and he told me, "Three guys, one day labor and the amount of tile you need, this is a fair price." Mike and his two workers (one was his son, ya gotta love the family business aspect) worked all day and did a beautiful job retiling the pool. I could not give them a better review. They saved us a ton of money, showed up on time, communicated well before the project and did a high quality job on the install. A home owner could not ask for more. Steve
