The staff are simply wonderful, genuinely friendly, and extremely helpful. Also, they hand out KOI pellets to those of us who are addicted to them. I have had the privilege and pet the KOI while feeding. It's unlike any other experience you've had. My most recent visit was to pick up some "Dirty Dirt" which is dirt made from food waste compost from the Heights area of Houston. While they're much more expensive, its top quality product and all of my plants thrive living in it. I planted my most recent batch of garden plants, several different types of Certified Organic/Non-GMO potatoes (the plants are sprouting thru the dirt and it's only been a week!). In addition, I got an Orange tree, Swiss Mint, and a few other little goodies for my back yard. The staff answered all of my questions and I went home feeling like I had a true experience. I spent 2.5 hours there, they were very peaceful and happy 2.5 hours. I highly recommend spending some time here.

The geraniums for $9.99 did not look fresh and appeared dry and yellowish. They had some interesting petunias. I left after buying plants and felt less satisfied from my usual experience with them so I also stopped by their Voss location today -the geraniums there for $9.99 were gorgeous and colorful and well watered. The staff were so cheerful and helpful and greeting all of us and made a big effort to do so. I happily bought more plants there. Room for improvement at this location.

Today was my first experience at New Earth in Katy Texas. I…read morewent there because of a couple of bad experiences at another well known tree debris recycling company in Katy. I met three wonderful ladies in the office that were very kind and helpful. I got their names "Ixtzel, Priscilla and Ana are my new buddies in the office. I also asked who the heavy equipment operator was that pulled my debris out of my trailer in such a (kind and professional manor). His name is David and thank you David for being careful to not rush me and for not damaging my trailer. I don't understand why it's so difficult for other people to simply be kind and do their jobs without making a customer want to leave and look for other options. I drove farther today to try this New Earth place and I am going to continue doing business with them from now on due to the professionalism, kindness and (lower prices). Oh, they are honest too. I forgot my debit card on the counter and they called right away to let me know to come pick it up.

Went to get several large plants today and the young guy helped me pulled the tag off the palm I…read morewanted and scanned it himself. Went to check out and he says the tag is wrong on the palm and it's several hundred more and there's was wrong. Then he tells me the Italian Cypress plants I hand picked and took out to the parking lot were tagged wrong as well and were over $100 more each. I show him a whole wall of them all tagged the same. He said they were all tagged wrong. And to top it off no one at the entire place spoke English or knew what was going on. What a terrible way to do business. Will never go back.

He's like "I don't know what you're doing with your plant, you're the one who planted it, idk your solid watering habits... but maybe the asst manager that's here might be able to help but he's new, and the manager isn't here." When I arrived there, the young lady at the front desk was on her phone popping a pimple. I asked for help in finding miniature roses and the girl had no idea what I was talking about. She asked for a picture and when I showed it to her, she said they did not have any. I went to browse to see what I could find and found the miniature roses. I went on the following day to find some Japanese boxwood. I'm going to be told it was in the back. The back area is huge and I asked for help in finding it but was told they could not leave the front area of the store. I asked for manager and was told he was on his lunch break, it was 10:30 AM. In writing this review, it asks what could be improved. I would suggest hiring people that are helpful and to some degree, know a little bit about plants.

On what is arguably THE busiest day for both florists and restaurants alike, you want me to magically pull 3 specially-delivered bouquets and a nice restaurant reservation out of my WHAT?! In desperation, I make my call to Katy Flower Market. I spoke with Darwin, who took all my information and - even though on Valentine's Day they cannot guarantee a time, and I could tell my request was far-fetched and somewhat difficult for them to do on such a busy day - had my roses delivered straight to the restaurant well before their reservation. My boss showed me a picture of the three bouquets, and the flowers were gorgeous - fresh roses that were just barely blooming, so I knew they would last longer than a day or two. I was nervous that, in placing my order so late, that the flowers would be the "leftovers," but these bunches were carefully arranged and quite lovely. In terms of pricing, it is on par with other florists in the area. They have the same styles at comparable prices. No complaints at all with the pricing. I am so impressed (an almost impossible feat with me) with the courtesy of the staff and the extra mile they went to help make my boss' last-minute idea come to fruition. I would absolutely recommend Katy Flower Market to anyone in Houston who is looking for a florist.

Because each item was delivered separately, I had to take three different days off work just to receive our furniture. First delivery: The installers didn't even tighten the nuts and bolts on the bed, and one of the dressers arrived scratched. Second delivery: The delivery team was great. They replaced the damaged dresser and fixed the bed properly. Third delivery: We were supposed to receive a dresser and two nightstands. The delivery team actually asked us to accept a dresser that had a hole in it. We refused it, along with one of the nightstands because it was damaged as well. Now we've discovered that the one nightstand we did keep won't even open. I called customer service and the store manager for help, and I also texted our salesperson. No one ever returned my calls. The salesperson told me he wasn't going to do anything because it was his day off. To make matters worse, this is the same salesperson who stepped in to take over our sale, even though we specifically asked to continue working with the original employee who had answered all of our questions. Overall, the quality control, customer service, and communication have been incredibly disappointing. We spent a significant amount of money and expected much better service than this. We have not been offered replacements, or our money back.
