Knowingly violate CA Veh Code § 22658 involved in predatory practices. The code states they shall not charge more than 1/2 of a reg tow for a drop fee and they must release your vehicle without demanding payment if still on private property. A regular light duty tow is $150 they charge $200 for a drop and will not drop your car unless you pay right then and there which is also a violation of Code § 22658. I was parked illegally and will happily pay the valid drop fee not the over inflated rate they are charging. Filing complaints with every agency possible . Oh it's 100% illegal what you are doing the vehicle was still on the property and illegally parked or not your driver has to drop the car if the owner is present and asks for the car to be dropped. I called and spoke to Delores at Bill and Wag's tonight a light duty tow $150 for the first 5 miles you are not even 2 miles from me. So if you are charging $300-$400 for a tow 2 miles away people really need to run from you. I work in the insurance industry and know what the average cost for a tow is. Had my car been towed had I not made it out that would've been my fault my price to pay I never said I wasn't in the wrong . Like I said predatory practices as well as crappy attitude. Your response to reviews say all anyone needs to know about this business and what it represents. You should take your own advise and follow the laws that are put in place for tow companies because you violated them twice in my interaction alone with your company. First of all, service was terrible! I waited 2 hours when they said 30 mins. They couldn't unlock my vehicle after I left my keys inside, so they towed it then they broke my bumper off. I left a message with my name and number and asked if you would call me back today. They said yes you would call when you got into the office and I have not received a call back yet . To answer your questions I am not the registered owner, but I am the one who holds liability of the car per DMV records. Which is why the lien office sent me the notice. They issued the lien sale and notice on 1/14/25. The car was brought to your location on 4/26/24. This timeline does not agree with your comment that you are required by law to process a lien 72 hours of possession of the vehicle. I talked to a representative on Friday when I was calling to find out if I needed a tow truck to get the car. The lady I talked to said she thinks the car was totaled and that I would need a tow truck to retrieve it. I appreciate you looking into this issue for me and hope that we can come to resolution as according to all records that I have a key should have been provided with the car per the police report. I am looking for you to replace the missing key at this time.****I had a car that my name was on was taken her per Yucaipa Sheriff. DMV records had me as the person of liability for the vehicle but I didn't get any notification regarding the car until they tried to go to Lein sale. I called 6 times trying to get information on the vehicle. Answers ranged from it being totaled to they need to go find it. I was told they would call me back twice, which that never happened. Crooks, illegally tow without contract from private property. Then lied and claimed I needed a subpoena for proof of tow which is legally required, refused to check the car for the registration then claimed it was not in there. Once I returned a day later (which I was of course charged for) with the pink slip they suddenly had the paperwork I requested from the beginning and insisted that I lied about previous claims even though it was all recorded. If this place wasn't in contract with the police I doubt they would still be in business. They literally told me I could have picked up my vehicle over the weekend because they have a lock box. No where on their website gives any information and their office is conveniently closed over the weekend. Told them no one notified me of this. He said "Well we weren't there." I also called corporate before going to see if I would need a tow truck or registration to get my vehicle out. They informed me I didn't and all I needed was a release from the city. When called they come out to the property in a timely fashion and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs tow service. In times where a signature is required they would come to my office to get the signature before complying with the tow. So this company towed my truck from Denny's. The manager at Denny's said it was ok to leave it for a few hours while I fixed it, I came back and it was gone. I called the company and there charging me $450 plus por the tow. They have a regular tow fee plus after hours fee Which is ridiculous over priced. Plus the girl who answered gave me some attitude I answered back the same way and they made my experience even more difficult. Abuse of authority to its finest. Very unethical company. Towed my car from in front of my sisters house while I was picking up my 4 year old daughter. I had put her car seat in the car and she had to use the restroom. I came back out and watched the driver pull behind all buildings at the church next door to hook up my car and he said once it's off the property I cannot get it. Why didn't he hook it up there? Why pull behind all buildings? $430 to get my car in the morning $630 if I got it that night. I was told by company that they take it off property before hooking it up but told by driver once it's off property I can't get it. Why not hook it up at property if that's the case. Scammers! Beware beware beware!! I was told by company that I was not targeted because I only had a 4Runner not a Mercedes. Verbatim! Hard to believe a woman owner would be ok with this.
