Seriously the best boba I've ever had. Ordered the mango boba, tasted so fresh and delicious! Not like most places that just put powdered flavors and yogurt in their boba. Made with real fruit which is a huge plus and it really makes a difference in the flavor. Love the variety in flavors also. read more

The smoothies usually have good flavor but the boba is usually hard, stuck together, or lacks any flavor. Not to mention every time I go inside there's this smell that is so foul you just want to leave. read more

I was just there today, 04/02/2017, earlier this afternoon. That was my first time there and I would never go back!! The short Asian girl was so rude! She did not greet me, she rolled my eyes and hurried me through my order. She was also very sarcastic and had no manners. Sheer determination finally allowed Going to need a bigger straw! And not for the reasons you would hope. Drinking my green milk tea with boba right now. Boba is so mushy it barely can work its way up my straw. Yesterdays boba? When by sheer determination I finally get two or three to erupt into my mouth in a combined soggy mass, they are completely flavorless. Absolutely disgusting. The consistency of the boba was meh, passable; but absolutely no flavor! Then the drinks themselves!!! The blended drink was powdery, and the flavor was off. The flavored tea had no tea taste and the flavor tasted very artificial. This is possibly the worst boba I've ever had! One sip, I had to spit it out and throw the rest of the drink away. I'm updating this review because after trying Boba from other spots, I have found Bigstraw Boba is always on point with their drinks. Every time I order a boba drink, they have never been watered down or lack in flavor. My go-to drink is the blended Taro Boba (it is sooo yummy and refreshing) and my boyfriend loves the fruit blended drinks with the strawberry popping boba. I will continue to come here for my boba fix! read more

This is a great place for Boba! It actually is the only place I will drink boba from. My personal favorite is caramel creme, I believe that is the name lol I always order the same thing! I also really like the Java chip one its so good! My boyfriend really enjoys the piña colada! Everyone needs to try this! They are so friendly! This is definitely the worst boba place I've ever had. I got 3 drinks and all 3 had no taste. The boba itself was good but the drink was trash. I love this place. Im originally from LA have tried numerous Boba spots but this one is my all time fave. The prices are reasonable and the employees are really friendly and offer honest opinions when youre stuck trying to decide between two flavors. Ive taken numerous friends here and they all love it. I only got to try a few of their drinks, but I liked what I tasted! i had the soursop slushy with boba. the boba was decent. it's texture was average, but it wasnt sweetened (i love me some honey boba), which was disappointing. the texture reminds me of the boba i had as a little kid in the bay area, when they still had those plastic, cancer balls shipped in from taiwan. it's a nostalgia bomb, I just hope the chewiness isn't because they're still using those brands with plastic in them. the slush itself was also tastier than i thought. the soursop wasn't overly sweet and it didnt taste powdery. i cant guarantee it wasn't made from powder with the soursop, but i had sips of my friend's mango slush with boba and it was pretty damn legit. the mango tasted like it was made from actual mangos. i really hope it was, because it was delicious and there werent any boxes of fruit flavoring sitting out, which is promising. overall, this boba stop was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. it can't compete with la or the bay (OR TAIWAN bc who can even touch the inventors of boba in their hood) but it's worthy, especially when you're stuck in the central coast for college. anyone passing through looking for a stop in their bobalife should definitely stop by. the soursop and mango alone are enough for me to make another visit in the near future. read more

Great place! Came here the other day and will certainly be back! This a is boba only place, so if you are looking for Chinese food or donuts go elsewhere. They are boba only and they do it right. Seems like a bunch of young guys run the joint, very friendly and quick. I was excited to see they not only offered the traditional boba flavors, but where more then willing to mix flavors at no extra charge and had suggestions as well. The boba was nice and soft! We ordered a honeydew melon and cantaloupe mix and a mango. Both where fabulous! My friend and I spoke with the guy who made our drinks extensively about how to make boba with alcohol. The dude is awesome! I shall try when I order my next boba from them. Go try it...go now! read more

i gave big straw 3 stars mainly because they raised the price AGAIN!!! sorry but $5 for boba is kind of ridiculous. i usually get the carmen special which is usually really good but sometimes it tastes bland like they added too much ice that thats all you taste. very disappointing. im not a big fan of the boba itself however i love the mini bobas here. its soft and chewy. read more
