For brunch they have a smaller selection than normal all you can eat restaurants. However, the price is amazing and the blood marys were delicious! If you are looking for an inexpensive brunch and are happy with the basics, this is the way to go. ***Beware, if you sit in any of the tables along the walls you will not have good service. Been to this place a few times to watch some games with friends. We are usually able to call in and reserve the private room with surround sound if we have a big group that day. As for the food, the Sunday breakfast buffet is excellent. In my opinion it is better and less expensive than el tortios Sunday breakfast. They also have a burger called the "Fiesta Burger". This is one of the best burgers around. I've ordered it every time I've been there. As far as the service goes, depending on day, time, and server, it can be a bit slow. read more

Just celebrated my 40th birthday here. We reserved a private room in advance, no deposit required. The room has a pool table, plenty of TVs, and lots of seating. Our server was great, she checked up on us frequently during our 6 hour long stay. The grub is typical gastropub fare, but they do it well. I had a big, delicious burger on a brioche bun, crunchy tater tots and some meaty nachos. They have quite a few beers on draft, and they make a mean vodka tonic. In a word, recommended. read more

I went there for the AFC and NFC championship games this last weekened and it was rockin. So much fun. They had great drink specials on 32 once beers. The girls that work there are hot and fun to party with. They had 4 huge screens with the games on and then about 20 other flat screens all around the bar and dinning area so you can see the games for any seat in the house. I go here to watch the UFC Fights because it doesn't get crowded like other spots. If you happen to go you must try the Big's Burger, that burger is so good and for 8 bucks you can't beat that. If you do happen to go for the UFC fights get there a little early maybe 30-45 minutes so that you get a decent seat. read more

I walk in to this place for the first time. My girlfriend and I were going for breakfast. We walked in and it immediately smelled terrible and the place was empty. We waited up front for 5 minutes while nobody came to seat us . Some bimbo comes to the front after 5 , says hi to us, and walks away to the back. We had lunch here over the weekend and I have to admit for a dive bar restaurant it was pretty awesome. The food was flavored well, the kids pizza was one of the best I have had out side of a pizza place so thank you my kiddo was very happy. Portions were awesome. I love food and we could have easily shared a meal but no way we wanted to try lots of options so we each ordered something different. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is being our waitress was a little airy. She forgot a lot of the things that we asked for like extra sauce, or dipping sauces, or refills. "it's not that place that used to be on Harbor is it?" asked my wife as we approached Big's Sports Grill on State College. "No. That was Big's Pizza and it used to be a Shakey's and now it's a Shakey's again. This place used to be down the block a ways and was called Vern's Husker Pub in another lifetime. We used to go there after classes in law school and drink with our profs." I say in return, reassuring my wife that we were not in for a night of misbehaving kids, bad pizza, and filthy rest rooms. No, we were heading for Big's, the sports bar. Where else would I take my wife and three of our kids on a Saturday night when SC/UCLA was on? Sheesh. What was she thinkin? I had never been to Big's but had heard good things about it from others, especially the crew at Angelo's in Anaheim (they seem to know a thing or two about cheap food and beer). Going on a Saturday night with kids seemed risky, but all fears were allayed once we were seated and greeted by our friendly waitress. They have menu specials going on Saturdays and Sundays for football. Luckily, one of the specials was two bucks off an order of 12 wings, so I was taken care of. Daughter 2 is going veggie, so a grill cheese satisfied her. Daughter 3 was in the mood for a salad, and a half a Cobb piled high with turkey, eggs, and avocado fit the bill. Son eats chicken strips and little else; he was in luck with half an order. Finally, the wife settled on a BLT with curly fries. The food was pretty good. Hell, I'd say better than average. Plentiful, well prepared, and (shock of all shocks for a moderately busy sports bar) came out hot. The service was top notch. Several employees pitch in to make sure your well taken care of. Overall; impressive. Forgot to mention the beer specials; they've got 'em. Just look around. I'd say they do themselves a disservice saying it's not a good place for kids. There are plenty of quieter areas to sit if you want to escape the noise of the main bar. I wouldn't take my kids there on a Friday night at, say, 11, but Saturday night around 8 seemed fine. If I had to compare this place to any other, I'd say it's a little like the bastard offspring of Mikey's and Heroes. Big food, well done, without the over-the-top pricing of Downtown Fullerton. I have been here only a handful of times, and I have always had a great experience. The food is amazing. I find myself craving the nachos .... I know, it's a problem. The beer selection is amazing and I feel comfortable here. I think one of the things I like the most, is that the crowd is not the "dive bar" crowd. When I've been here, it's been a nice mix of middle aged people, just wanting to meet up with a friend after work. It's BIG and there are a lot of t.v.'s. I have never been here for a game, or karaoke, brunch, or any of the other events that they have. Remember them having a pretty decent drink special going on at the tie Inside is a very much a sports bar atmosphere and larger than it seems from the outside. over the top sports bar the games on several different big screen TV'S then the music later in the night would make this a place worthy of a visit. The best watering hole I personally found in Fullerton! Hands down! This place has everything that you need and is by far superior to any Sports bar in the city of Fullerton. They have tons of tvs that cover more wall space than anything else and more importantly they always host major Pay Per View Events. But the best thing about them is the awesome staff. All the girls are not only pretty but friendly, and very personable. You can definitely sense the positive atmosphere by seeing how well they enjoy working there. And shout out to one of the best bartender and nicest person Ive ever met, her name is Courtney. She is just an amazing individual who is so talented, smart and funny. She definitely made my dining experience memorable with her funny stories and excellent service (while being attentive to everyone on a busy night). She actually cares for her patrons and even goes far and beyond to even memorize your name. If anybody is looking for a Cheers then this place is highly recommended because people like Courtney! I've been here a few times now and like the feel of this bar. Not too bright, nice wood decor, good sound system and stage for bands, and a good sound guy. Haven't tried the food but I can tell you it smells pretty good. They have a friendly staff and good drink service. I like this bar. The only negative is when I asked for a particular Belgian beer that's on their beer list and the first person I asked said they didn't have it, she asked someone else and they found it for me. Last week I asked for the same Belgian beer and I was told they didn't have it after the bartender looked around for a while. I asked for another Belgian favorite that's on their list and they didn't have that one either. Their Newcastle ended up being big and cold though, so I was ok. read more

Cool place for a pit stop with co-workers after a long week at work. It usually isn't too crowded and the beer specials are great. The food is pretty good, better than one would expect from a bar in an strip mall front of a small industrial area. It's Always a good time at Bigs. Met up with friends last night and enjoyed my favorite happy hour app. the ahi tostada. One of the few bars that a woman can feel comfortable in the setting. The staff and owners make the patrons feel like they are in an episode of Cheers. They have a superior happy hour drinks and food every week day. This review is only for the UFC fight nights and not for the food. I came to watch UFC 121 here (GO Velasquez), I decided on this place because I had read on Yelp that there was no cover charge and it is close to home. Unfortunately we got there around 7:00 PM and the parking lot was packed so we parked at the CVS parking lot, when we finally got to the door there was someone up front charging a $5.00 entrance fee to get in. (Maybe before a certain time you get in for free? 5 bucks is still a good deal) Once in we ordered our beers, the service was fast and the beers were cold, my friend and I ended up standing for the entire 3 hours but it was well worth it. They have tons of Televisions everywhere and everyone there was really cool, I will definitly be back again. read more

Went here for the first time. First waitress serving us suddenly disappeared and when approached, said she couldn't help us any longer because she was leaving. It worked out perfect for us because Ryan then became our server. We ordered the sampler platter and everything was cooked well and to top it off, there was enough food to feed our table of 5!
