They didn't put any egg on the toasted ciabatta sandwich. You would think for such an overpriced item, they'd at least add an egg. Service was ok, their card machine was broken, so my order took longer. They have good music. read more

Sadly, when I ordered thru DoorDash I ended up not getting the Cotton Candy latte frozen I ordered and instead got a frozen latte that I believe was just vanilla. It was still good though and I really enjoyed my bagel sandwiches. Even though the drink order was wrong, considering it was delicious and was ordered thru a third party app I will not be too hard on them. I will definitely be checking out the other locations that opened around here and will be back to this location soon to try the Cotton Candy froze latte that I am wanting so badly. read more

I am a coffee lover, Biggby always one of my favorite . I have an opportunity to tryout BIGGBy at This location. I was not impressed, one of the employee is rude. I ordered my coffee and wait. At one point one girl walked by and mumbling something, I didn't know what she was saying or who she is talking to. After more than 20 minutes of waiting for my coffee and tired of look at my phone and wait, I walked to the cashier and asked how long would it take before I can have my coffee. End out it was sitting at the counter. The mumbling girl at me almost yelling and said to me, I told you that your coffee was ready. I can't help to say, I didn't know you were talking to me since no eyes contact, not clear verbiage addressing me. So not impressed!!! read more

So I'm in the area checking out a university I'm interested in. As we visited the the beach here in St. Joseph, I saw Biggby Coffee. Intrigued, I begged my strictly basic coffee lover mother to go and try something new. After she finally agreed, we headed over to Biggby the next morning. Let me tell you, this place did NOT disappoint at all. The customer service 10/10, the coffee was exquisite, nothing in Virginia could compare to it. Even my strictly basic coffee lover mother loved everything we tried. SHOCKING. We got a dirty chai latte w/ coconut milk, an iced golden honey latte, and my mother's very basic and very boring brewed hazelnut coffee with sugar and creamer. If you want something that will completely change your life, please do yourself a favor and come here and come quick! read more

$4+ for 2 black coffees. Clerk hands me 2 empty cups(of which she puts her fingers inside of) and points "coffees over there, creams over there, lids are there". I asked for a drink carrier and had to get that too. Literally had to reach behind the counter, over the syrups, past some cups, and get it myself. I am all for paying when you get a double yada yada with non fat milk and 6 sprkinkles of this and that triple blended, but am not enjoying the over priced pour it yourself gas station style $4 coffees here. read more

So I've been coming to Biggby coffee since I was 10 years old here in St Joe. I remember a time where it was a place to go, it was clean, people conversated, and dogs were aloud in the building. The staff was happy, cheerful and always talkative and sweet to you while you waited for your drinks or food. The wait was no longer than 2minutes and maybe 5 on a busy day. But no matter the wait they apologied. Biggby coffee here in St Joe is now owned by a new owner, who has made it where dogs can no longer be inside, fired the entire old biggby crew and tells people "they decided to leave". The new crew is slow, rude, take 10minutes to make a drink. For instance I wanted medicine balls, 2. And it took them 15minutes. They had no honey so they use syrup, didn't make it currently and tasted nothing like it should have. They don't talk to you, or even say sorry for the wait. The place has coffee beans on the floor almost Everytime I walk in, dirty tables, and lack of love and kindness like they used to have. I've had more burnt coffee and rude looks in the past couple months than I ever have. Amanda kept the place going, she was strict but at least biggby coffee was a place of warmth and home. Now it's just get your coffee, and get out. It's no longer a fun place or a second home where I used to go after my father's passing. It's just another St Joe stuck up coffee place. When you want some coffee and you're around Michigan Biggby seems like the place to go. They have a good selection of specialty coffees and a handful of brewed coffee too. The inside is clean and there is a good selection of seating. The staff inside were super friendly and the coffee was made quick. They do have coconut milk behind the counter, just ask. The brewed coffee is what I come for and the toasted coconut coffee is really good. My girlfriend gets the same thing here (Americano) and swears by it at Biggby. THe staff is great, the store is nice, and there is good places to sit and do work here if you need. What else can you ask for? read more

You can tell that Al and his team no longer own this business. The new staff argues with customers who have been coming to this store since it opened. They do not start a conversation they ramble off the drink and are not friendly. They seem irritated to wait on you. We will not be back to this location. We met as a group and there was plenty of space/tables to accomodate our group size. Very pleasant atmosphere. The downfall was the food, the line, and the wait time to get our orders. At 9:00 in the morning I was served a totally frozen muffin. Another in our group had to wait well over 20 minites to get a breakfast sandwich. The manager did seem to go out of his way to make the situation right. Those who had thw coffee said it was good. They need to get a microwave. Also for those who don't drink coffee, fountain drinks would be nice. Overall, most in the group would return and hoped they get the bugs worked out read more

A great place to sit, have coffee and talk with friends or use your computer. Their WIFI is lightning fast and the area is very comfortable. Not enough "lounge" chairs but that is OK. I like how you are not crammed in. The music they play just happens to be great (Right now they are playing "Sultans of Swing"). Very nice people and service was great. I'd venture to say this place is local to Michigan and I'm totally jealous. Why does Michigan get all the good stuff? Michigan also has Tim Hortons but the farthest south Tim Hortons goes is Ft. Wayne. Where I'm from, Starbucks dominates the landscape and local places keep odd hours, and struggle to survive. I really wish Biggby would expand into Indiana. I had the Butter Bear which had carmel and butterscotch in it. DIVINE! I love that this place has bagels but did not partake as we had just ate. Nice place, nice staff, cheap. Please come to Indianapolis and help push out Starbucks! If I had to chance, I'd move to St. Joseph in a heartbeat! This is a great place to warm up after walking around downtown. Also, it's the only coffee house open on Sundays. I was hoping to go to Cafe Tosi as I've heard great things, but it was closed. That's ok though because Biggby was awesome! read more

Seems like it's a Michigan coffee chain. They have an almost overwhelming selection of choices. The brewed and iced coffees are solid, somewhere between a Dublin Donuts and Starbucks. They offer lots of deals; we were offered a free shot of espresso as it was free shot Friday! read more

My first impression of Biggby Coffee is that they actually want you to stay there - as opposed to some chains that want you to get your coffee and get out. I'm impressed that they have a meeting room that you can reserve. Plus the location in St. Joe is great! This particular Biggby has a nice location in St.Joe. It's easy to park there, get a coffee and walk across the street to stroll along the river. The prices are reasonable for coffee, although I thought it was a bit steep for a blueberry scone. There's a nice outdoor seating area as well, but like I said, if you want to go outside you should stroll along the river. The wifi is free - unlike some other coffee shops. The wifi does not require you to have a particular carrier to use it. At first me and my finance were unable to connect to the Internet. We asked the baristas for help and they were very helpful. One of them went back and reset the router. Although I was able to connect to the Internet with my iPod touch, but finance was unable to connect to wifi using her iPhone. I like the decor inside, the friendly baristas and the great location. I have to take off some points for the difficulty of connecting to the wifi and that the scone was a bit too expensive. If you're ever in St. Joe and looking to take a nice stroll along the river with a good coffee, Biggby is your place. read more

Quick great place to get coffee in the morning. Although the customers are rude and only think of themselves, the employees are wonderful. I witnessed a lady order the wrong thing then get up set when said thing was made for her. The employees apologized and quickly made her another, to which was the item she actually wanted. I didn't notice any name tags and everyone seemed to be dressed the same, but what seemed to be the manager handled the situation greatly. She asked the lady if she was ok, and if there was anything she could do. The frumpy lady grumbled out a few words, none to which were "Thank-you", even when given a card from, whom I believe, is the manager for what I assume was a free coffee. Nothing special but it's not bad. The reason I'm taking away stars is because the workers were not wearing gloves and man handing the food such as bananas and our lids. The service was slow because of being under-staffed. A single worker had to toast and spread bagels and make all the drinks for a long line of people. This is usually expected, but still sad to see. In terms of my cappuccino, the worker simply knocked the grounds of the previous brew from the not-recently-used portafilter. That is, she did not rinse or wipe the portafilter before putting in new grounds. She also dispensed the espresso into unwashed shot glasses. She did not blow-out the water from the steam wand before frothing my milk, and over-steamed the milk for way over a minute. The seating on hard flat chairs is not very nice either. Overall, there was no atmosphere here. I'm going back to Cafe Mosaic. read more

I ordered a coffee with 'the works' which is a term used by a Biggby close to home, 'the works' includes whipped cream and cinnamon. I ordered my coffee and the cashier seemed to understand, when I received my coffee it had no whipped cream, which isn't a big deal but because I had asked for it I asked a worker if my drink was missing it, because I assumed that I had ordered my drink with it. She replied 'that is not a term we use' and proceeded to tell me that whipped cream was an extra 50 cents, and asked if I wanted it to be added. I told it was fine and now I know for next time, she proceed to tell me 'give me your drink, I'll it right' again I told her it wasn't a big deal and I was fine. She demanded I give her my drink, even after I had expressly told her it was fine. She did add the whipped cream but after I told her it was fine I would expect her to respect me and leave it alone. read more
