The staff are always kind and welcoming, with warm smiles that add such a lovely touch to the experience. My absolute favorites are the Sleeping Bear Mocha and the Sleeping Bear Hot Chocolate , "truly signature drinks and honestly addictive!!" I keep coming back just for them, and I've never found anything quite like them anywhere else. Their food options are unique and always served warm when you order. I also adore that they offer tea pots when you order tea such a cozy, thoughtful detail that makes the experience feel extra special They have cute mugs and teas available for purchase, perfect for taking a little piece of the café home. Prices are similar to Starbucks, but the quality and atmosphere feel much more special. I love that they introduce seasonal drinks, right now they have a delicious mocha and a pecan drink that feel perfect for the season. They also serve chai lattes, which is very important to me wherever I go, and theirs is lovely. They even have an app that sometimes offers rewards and little perks, which is always a nice surprise. (My only wish is) that they extend their hours until 9 or 10 PM . it would make this cozy spot even more perfect. Overall, this is one of my favorite coffee spots. Warm, comforting, and always a pleasure I highly recommend it and they have my full yelpy support :)

They offered me a cold latte instead and I said no and asked for a regular coffee with the syrup from the latte instead. Got to work and discovered they used a shot of regular coffee in place of the espresso, added water, cream and syrup. Basically they made me a $6 cup of hot water. Tasted like garbage. Add to this that they have had a pothole in front of the drive through speaker for at least 2 years that is now so big if you try to drive through it, it will probably break your car axle.

They also have a bacon, goat cheese & date one but I enjoy the cherry almond the best. The goat cheese is a bit too goat cheese-forward! The communal space is also awesome -- looks perfect for working away from the office. So, my only gripe is to pleaseeee stay open later! However, I was in Parchment to meet a friend, and there aren't other coffee options without driving into Kalamazoo. So, I decided to check out the new Biggby. And I'm glad I did. This staff team is exceptional. Upon walking in, I was greeted warmly, although I was given the appropriate amount of grief for my Red Sox gear, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming (and so clean). When I went to order what I thought was a normal Biggby deal (Wednesday BOGO), I was told that this location doesn't do that. BUT, Ellie came over and gave me a B Local reusable coupon card that works repeatedly at this location for this season. Super cool. This store and team is doing it right. Good job!

The staff are genuinely warm, smiling, and incredibly welcoming. This is exactly the standard I mean when I talk about true hospitality and I always hope for. It instantly makes you feel comfortable and at ease. There's something very calming about the space, with thoughtful details that reflect authentic Arab culture. The décor is stunning, elegant, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful touches that reflect authentic Arab culture. Even the cups are charming , artistic, designed with Arabic calligraphy, which adds such a authentic touch. Arabic music playing in the background adds to the cozy, inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you want to stay longer. The menu is impressively diverse and authentically Arabian. I especially loved the bakery section, there's a great variety of savory items, which is such a rare and appreciated touch in cafés They offer sambosa, Saudi coffee, Dubai cake, and traditional Arabic honeycomb bread (khaliat al-nahl), all in one place. Prices are very reasonable, and they're currently offering 20% off for their grand opening. Yay I ordered a cup of Adani tea, which was beautifully and perfectly brewed, rich, balanced, and full of flavor. I also tried a small pizza, and honestly, it was so delicious that one wasn't enough! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. One of my favorite features is they stay open until 11 PM, and until 12 AM on weekends! which is a golden advantage! This alone makes Shibam Coffee stand out from many other cafés in Kalamazoo. I truly hope they continue offering these late hours--we really need this here. The restrooms were spotless , well cared for, and thoughtfully designed, even featuring Arabic culture in some aspects, which was such a lovely detail. Overall, this place has everything, excellent service, beautiful décor, cleanliness, authentic flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can already tell this will become my go-to spot. Shibam Coffee feels like a place you want to return to again and again. Cozy, elegant, welcoming, and full of heart. As a chain restaurant, it's very good. The pastries are not made on site, they are baked fresh, but they are foodservice freezer packed. I can't give this more than three stars right now because the service is insanely slow even when it doesn't look particularly busy. The first time I waited 25 minutes and the second time I waited 10 minutes: this is for a straightforward mocha. I don't mind waiting when it's busy, but it was not busy, and I think they need to rethink how they're staffing. There seems to be one barista busting her butt and then six other employees just milling around, occasionally trying to chat with her. The barista is awesome and everyone is nice; it just seems like a bad system. I'll give this another chance and update my review if the wait times go down.
