Food was really tasty and portions were really large. Doesn't really seem like they're adhering to restaurant reopening guidelines coming out of Covid 19. Waitress had a mask but not covering her nose. Wore a latex glove on left hand not right, which she used to put drink glasses on table by grasping around drinking lip. Tables weren't spaced to the guideline of 10 people per 300 sq ft. I counted at least 25 people in that area surrounding our table. This place is legit. The bartender (Marvin, who's was awesome) said "you won't finish what's on your plate, and everything is amazing." He listed off his favorites and it was off to the races. A great beer selection, full bar, house made meats and sauces, staff are cool ... Legit. I finished my plate despite Marvin's threat, but my colleagues failed the challenge. This is usually one of my favorite places to eat in Cornelia. Our last visit was good, but not the normal. Our fries were cold and tough. We ordered wings and they were covered in so much sauce it was hard to eat them. Turned into a mess. The atmosphere is great, we love the live music. The food is delicious and served hot. Huge portions. However, they do poorly on managing large groups (party of 7). We were told it would be a 25-30 minute wait, but it took well over an hour. We watched parties of 2,3 and 4 be seated, eat and leave while we waited. We will go back, but not with the whole family. read more

Enjoyed taco night! Great food! Great service! Love the restaurant! Management needs to figure out a policy for screaming children. It's a family place and we all should expect some noise, but not continuous uncontrollable very loud screaming. Traveling here for work and stopped in on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Tuesday's are half priced tacos and we're well worth it! Not too crowded and good taste! On Wednesday, very crowded for fifty cent wings. Get there by 530 or you will be waiting, even at the bar. read more

On a road trip on the 4th of July, we were passing through and stopped for the night. It was late for dinner but we were so over fast food, I looked on Yelp! and came across this place that is open late. This restaurant/tavern was very clean. Service was amazing!! The food, um WOW!! We had the Tuna Poke as an appetizer, so fresh and delicious!! Our entrees were Fish and Chips with cilantro slaw. It was a good and Shrimp & Grits with Andouille sausage and I chose broccoli as my side. The shrimp, grits and sausage were soooo GOOD!!! My only complaint would be that by the time I got to my last two shrimp they were a little tough (over cooked) from the heat of the grits. The flavor was amazing!! The broccoli was really tasty as well. It was simple but so good. Streamed broccoli sautéed in butter, garlic and lemon juice. Perfectly cooked!! Tender but not to soft. Excellent all around. Their wings are fried and then rolled in a wide variety of sauces. My favorite is raspberry jalapeño. The burgers are massive and there are some wonderful flavor combinations. They have decent prices and an ok atmosphere. The live music is a bit much in the dining room though. read more

Had disappointing service when they first opened in Cornelia, so we thought to give them a second chance at 11am. Restaurant was 1/3 full. A full 13 minute wait before our drink order was taken. Another more reasonable 10 minutes and food arrived. I had the fish tacos and my wife ordered the shrimp tacos, which were very delicious. Then the service evaporated. Restaurant was 1/2 full, but we never saw any more wait staff. At 11:50 we finally got up and demanded our check from the hostess. We won't go back. read more

I love this place but if you have Eric T, run for your life. Terrible, just terrible.

The food gets a 5 but the service gets a 3. We have been there several times. The chicken and waffles, the wings, and the fish and chips are excellent. We go because of the food and the great music on Friday and Saturday evenings. But the service is hit and miss. Last night was a big miss. First she ordered a salad with Honey Mustard and it came with some other kind of dressing. The Honey Mustard was not delivered to the table until after the food arrived. The diet cokes were flat. When we told the waitress she said she would get replacements but did not take the flat ones. When she finally brought the replacements 15 minutes later, they were also flat. When we told her that she took them and we ordered a Sprite and a water for me. If the Sprite was OK why could they not fix the Diet Coke? I also had to flag down our waitress to get ketchup and tarter sauce for my fish and chips. Is it too hard to bring the necessary condiments with the meals. I got the ketchup and tarter sauce 10 minutes after getting my fish and chips. We love the food but all too often choose another restaurant because of the service issues. After awhile though we start craving the food and music and decide to take a chance on the service. read more

The second location of Bigg Daddy's (also in Helen, Ga) has opened in Cornelia! We visited tonight lusting after the fish taco's and were not disappointed...so happy to have a Bigg Daddy's in an area where we don't have to fight the traffic to enjoy some of our favorite food. The menu appears to be similar to the one in Helen and the location is great. Lots of parking in front and back of the building and eating inside and outside. They are supposed to have music on Tuesday nights... Highly recommend their fish tacos and waffle fries...and a great bar menu, too. read more

Love the one in Helen (great vibe & food). I've been to this location twice. The first time I had great service and great food. This time, the service was definitely lacking but the food was great! A little more interaction with the guests and a few smiles would go a long way! We barely saw our waitress who said maybe 50 words to us all night. Disappointed. read more

Service was great, fast and wait staff attentive. Food is ok, but my only callout is Don't ask for anything different than what is listed on the menu unless you want to pay double. For example, asking for grits instead of fries with a meal will cost you the menu price of the grits and then you do not get the fries. This does not seem fair to me and when I asked them to address, they told me that was their policy. Buyer beware. read more
