I went there to eat, not drink. I ordered the fried shrimp (you can also get it grilled) basket. It came with 12 JUMBO shrimp, slaw, and tots for $15. It was served less than 5 minutes after I ordered and was so hot I had to let it cool off a couple minutes before I could eat it! While I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shrimp I felt they skimped a little on the tots. Overall, it was a great value and I highly recommend you try it. They also have burgers, quesadillas & steaks which I will try and review on future visits. read more

What an OUTSTANDING PLACE! Nice layout, great staff and food. Of particular importance to me, the owner who I did not get to meet was in the 82nd Airborne and that is prominantly displayed at the bar. That was my first unit in the Army and my buddy with me has one son who served with 82nd and one other son currently serving in the Eighty Duece. My only complaint is that its not closer to where I live and that might be good, because I would be there every day. Thank you owner, staff and regulars I met there. Havent had that much fun in a long time and the girls nice and smoking to be honest about it. read more

My wife and I went here on a Wednesday night about 7 o'clock and we found this place actually very nice. It's not the fanciest place but I will tell you this it's quiet. Most bars you have a hard time finding a place to actually sit down and eat without sitting at the bar and being able to have a conversation without talking loud loudly we were able to have a nice conversation and eat, and it was really pleasant It's a real nice place to go to and the food was great. The young lady took care of us was exceptional and we started out with the artichoke dip and chips and I had a fish dinner and it was man. It was good. It really surprised me because most bar food is you know meh but this was good. We will be back for sure soon. I would've took pictures of what we had, but I ate it all. read more

Our food was very good! I had a salad with grilled chicken which was fresh. Friend had a salad with a hamburger and it had Swiss and mushrooms. Burger was very tasty! Then we order chicken livers and they were lightly fried and oh so good! Our waitress was friendly! Will go back! read more

They need to add dog friendly to their description! I went for a walk with my friend and our dogs. Afterward we stopped at Juniors. They brought water for our pups and greeted us like old friends. After that we totally enjoyed our burgers, tots, and coleslaw. The iced tea was delicious, too. I will go back, for sure! read more

Feels like a watering hole for locals. Food: 3.5. Typical bar food/American affair. My tater tots were hot and crispy and my burger wasn't over cooked. Hubby had pulled pork and everything on the plate was very good. Their extensive outdoor patio is pet friendly. Our server seemed new and inexperienced. We had to ask for utensils and condiments after our food came out. She was friendly though. I do agree with a prior comment on here about the pricing. They charged me $11.49 for my burger when the menu says $10.49 and the pulled pork plate was $4 more than the printed menu. Menus don't have to be laminated. Just get a few copies printed if your prices change. Nobody likes surprises on their bill. read more

I was visiting family in Toccoa and was discouraged at the lack of locally owned restaurants that are open for dinner. Downtown Toccoa has a handful of places but mainly only open for breakfast and lunch. I was glad to find Junior's The service was friendly and the food arrived hot. I ordered the cheese curds for an app. They were the right amount of salty and the marinara sauce was house-made and delicious. For the entree I ordered the grilled Grouper. I was skeptical about ordering fish this far from the ocean, but the owner said he gets multiple fish deliveries weekly and works hard not to use frozen fish. The Grouper was tasty and grilled perfectly. If you're looking for a great locally owned dinner spot, definitely check out Junior's. read more

Great waitress from New Jersey, Mary. Good onion rings & fries. Decent Swiss mushroom burger, good roll. No celery. unfresh carrots. Pricy. Our medium wings were not freshly fried. (05/12 ~9oclock). Though we tried our friend's parmesean wings which were cooked to order. It should be cooked to order, not refried (the hard fry extireior lukewarm). They're not as good. Decent chicken but would've rathered a $4.50 rotisserie chicken via Walmart. We should've complained right then and there but didn't and the cook got away with it and encouraged his bad behavior. $53 total w tip for 3 plates of wings and a burger. All waters around. read more

1.Would not recommend worst experience of my life food was absolutely disgusting. 2.plain out run down and dirty. 3. Worst restaurant in Toccoa. 4. Smells like straight marijuana and cigarettes 5. Way over priced poor quality AND THERE YOU GO FIVE REASONS YOU SHOULD NOT EAT HERE !!!!!!! read more

My parents, their friends and I went out to eat here. It was so awful. Everything was cold. No one seemed to care about getting our food out in a timely manner (drinks, apps, salads, then entrees). Manager was of absolutely no help. Wouldn't refund us for the inedible food. He seemed to enjoy talking with the motorcycle folks more than pleasing all the guests. This place is a cluster and we sure won't be back! read more

We drove all over Toccoa looking for a place to get a drink. Google maps was no help. Then like a mirage appearing in the desert we saw Junior's. We heard the angels singing. We got to the covered patio just in time before a torrential rain came. Daniel was great and was eager to serve us. We came to drink (and we did!) but we also shared a Buffalo shrimp appetizer. Suffice to say this ain't fine dining but we were OK with it because there wasn't a Zagat rating posted on the door. I expect greater things from Daniel in life and we wish him the best. read more

I'm assuming this place only makes money on thier drinks because their food if aweful! Waitress was great, but the wait for the food and the bland food...just not worth it. I wish I had checked yelp reviews before coming to this place. read more

I get the place is new, but they need to train their waitresses on how to give better service or just hire more experienced people. The service was super slow. Just get people their drinks first, then we won't mind waiting. As for food, just know that you're overpaying for the portion sizes they give. I got the Caesar salad that was almost $5 and it was literally the same size as my cup of chowder. The smallest regular (not side) salad I've ever received at a restaurant. The people I were with ordered a Philly and it's literally the size of a hotdog. While the food is good, just know you won't be getting a lot of it. They have a long way to go but I see very good potential. read more

Junior's Bar & Grill - Super small portion sizes - Bars Near Me - Toccoa, Georgia

Food all came cold except my burger because they switched waitresses, lost the ticket and had to make mine from scratch while I watched the family attempt to eat dinner. Everyone else's food was served cold to touch. Long wait, no help, a lot of confusion and a roaming "manager/ owner" chit chatting with the whoever was sitting around pushing the alcohol. A bar scene that wants to be a family restaurant. Ease on down the road if you get the itch, unless you need a fresh brew. read more

Amazing! We love juniors. Had pork chops and the veggies that came with it some of the best ever had, lots of flavor. I even asked for some cornbread and they produced some. Junior's Bar & Grill - we all know the deal - Bars Near Me - Toccoa, Georgia

My friend and I have eaten here several times and enjoyed it but our most recent visit was a big disappointment. We went in after the normal lunch rush but noticed that there were a few more people than we normally do but I definitely wouldn't say they were crowded. We took a seat and waited... and waited. After a longer than normal wait a waitress came by and dropped off a couple menus but didn't even stop long enough to take our drink orders. After about ten minutes we got our drinks and placed our orders. Forty minutes later we got our order. During that forty minute wait the only thing we heard from the staff was that they only had one cook and that was a new person. The news cook isn't as good as the old cook. The shrimp were terribly over seasond and the tater tots were the bits from the bottom of the bag. When the check came it showed only a total, no itemization at all and it seemed to be too much. I asked for itemization of the bill and discovered that they charged three dollars for iced tea (yes I know lots of restaurants gouge their clients like this. Still not right.) They also charged $3 for paying with a card. That's more than double what the bank charges them. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would!! We will NEVER return to this place! We keep giving them chances but we're done with it after tonight! The only thing good about this place are a server here and there. We ordered the fried mushroom appetizer and got SIX tiny mushrooms. Not even the full sized mushrooms you would expect from and appetizer you're paying 8 bucks for!!! It really is embarrassing. I wish I would have taken a picture of them. The wings we ordered were a little overdone but at least they were edible. However the menu says 30 wings for $30. We received our check and they were $36. Now $6 isn't gonna make or break us but that isn't even the point. I get price changes. I'm a restaurant manager as well. I know that prices have gone up and have absolutely zero problems with paying more. But if you're going to charge more, have the decency to update your menu. If you can't afford them or they or on back order or whatever the case may be have your servers let their customers know that some of the prices may not be accurate as there have been price increases. Put a sign on your door or on your chalkboard or whatever you need to do. Customers don't like being surprised like that when the check comes!!! There is NO excuse for it!! For shits sake print your own menus if you have to!! Don't respond to me that prices went up about 7 months ago, have you just not been here in a while?!?! If prices went up 7 months ago then that means you've had SEVEN MONTHS to update your menu!!!!!!!! And for the love of all things holy...MANAGEMENT!!! DON'T THROW YOUR SERVERS UNDER THE BUS!! Don't blame shit on them that is out of their control!! As a manager you have the opportunity to rectify the situation. Don't make it worse!!! While we're at it... careful taking your kids there. A few months ago on one of their "second chances" we gave them, they decided my 15 year old daughter was old enough to drink and brought her a fully loaded strawberry daiquiri!! I'm so glad I decided to taste it before she drank anything! And that's not the only time I've seen them serve known minors. I've yet to see them card a single person when I've been in there!!! It's no wonder they've had to close 2 days a week and their portion sizes aren't enough to feed a toddler!!! Do better. We will definitely NOT be returning to this establishment!! Seriously...DO BETTER!!! And for the love of god.. take better care of your staff!!!!!! read more

Outdoor seating is great for fall weather. Shrimp tacos were good. Nice variety of food. Grilled chicken salad looked yummy.

We stumbled across the place by accident and we couldn't be happier! Wonderful service, friendly atmosphere, Delicious food and super cocktails! I wish I'd remembered to get pics before we dug in! The ribs were so tender and perfectly seasoned! We've been back twice and can't wait to go again. Definitely order the Rum Runner...and bring a DD. Lol read more

I have been wanting to stop in for awhile and because of COVID this was the first chance I had. I got to meet the main cook Bobby and he listened in to my order or ribs with cole slaw and requested "crispy" fried okra. Bobby asked how crispy I wanted it and I said real crispy. Well Bobby delivered. Ribs were meaty and smoked to perfection. I tried there new craft stout and it was delicious. Kathy the manager was attentive to not just me but to the whole lunch crowd. I recommend you give Junior's a try or give it a second chance if you weren't completely satisfied the first time. Love the outdoor seating also! read more

This place isn't where you would wanna be for good quality food or service! To be clear and fair I haven't been here in a while, like two years. So I don't know if it is fair to share my review about this restaurant an bar. My experience wasn't a good one. I waited over 45 min for wings and fries. The place wasn't packed either folks. They didn't have some of the things that were on the menu to top the wait off. So you had to ask the waiter/waitress what you could order. The food wasn't even worth the looong wait. But all that being said,it may be a better place by now. Go check it out for yourself folks...this is just my opinion. read more

Just because you can finance a restaurant doesn't mean you should open one. The hostess/bartender that seated us was personable and fast. From that point on it seemed to go downhill. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and then we waited 15-20 minutes for them. When we finally received them they were beyond hard and the pickle was tasteless. i refused them and hoped the remainder of the mean would go better. We then ordered hamburger steak, baked potatoes, and salads. So the meal comes out but no salads to be seen. I waited and attempted not to be presumptuous. I did ask for 1/2 glass of ice water at this point (which I never got). We ate our hamburger steak and potatoes, and then she brings the bill. I ask about our salads at that point. They looked OK, but tasted funky. My son who wouldn't eat his said it was the burnt bacon bits but I'm not sure. The waitress was flighty at best. The owner seemed more interested in making drinking buddies then running a business. He stayed outside with the motorcycle enthusiast. My point just because you can buy a deep fryer and a microwave doesn't mean you have the talent or skill to cook meals. But i assume they are really only open to serve alcohol and make friends. read more

I tried this restaurant for the first time today. It's my son's birthday and he wanted a steak. We were highly disappointed. I ordered two 12oz sirloins, fries and salad. At least HALF of my steak was fat. It wasn't seasoned or cooked correctly. The salad and fries were ok but I didn't stop for salad and fries. I am uploading a picture of just the fat off my steak alone. This was a greasy, tasteless mess. It's hard to mess up steak this bad but they did. I will not be back. read more

Good place to eat the food is Great sceneries good people are friendly and the women are beautiful overall just a good place to hang out

I realize that this place is short-staffed. It took at least 15 minutes to get waters. I ordered a Chicken Phillips and got a regular Philly which was mostly stale hoagie roll and very little meat and veggies. Manager was walking around thanking customers for being patient and chatting with people he knew. If you are that short-staffed manager should be helping serve or cook, especially during the dinner rush. Will be a while before I go back if ever! read more

This was our 4th visit to Juniors and unfortunately, our last. The first time was the best, even though we waited 40 minutes for a table. Today, we were with a group of 8 total. We arrived after the lunch rush and it was not busy. We ordered drinks, took 20 minutes to get beer. We ordered appetizers and food...it all came out somewhat together an hour later. The restrooms were nasty and the outside deck where we were sitting was also. It appears that Junior is lacking a manager and wait staff. The food was mediocre at best this trip....sorry, so wanted to be a returning customer, but it's went downhill since the first visit. read more

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I ordered a medium filet with a side of scallops. The steak came out well done and the waitress offered to cook another - the second one that they brought out was extremely rare to the point of raw. At this point, I had been waiting on my food awhile and was ready to leave so I just told the waitress I just didn't want the steak. She apologized and said she understood and she'd take it off the check. The owner came out and asked me to eat the steak if he recooked it and I explained that I had been waiting to eat for awhile now (going on an hour) and that it wasn't cooked right either time. The owner complained he would have to throw the steaks away and was losing money. He followed that by saying that he had a relative "like" me that had to have food cooked perfect or he would send it back. I explained again that it wasn't even close to the temperature I asked for either time. They did take it off the check, but I was surprised that they charged $8.00 for 2 scallops slightly larger than .50 cent pieces. We didn't bother to even bring that up after the treatment from the owner. We won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone. I will say the waitress was professional, polite and knowledgeable of the menu and it in no way is her fault or any of the other coworkers. I feel sorry for the employees working under that kind of management if they are willing to treat customers that way. The owner had also been drinking at the bar which might also partially explain his behavior. read more

Food was bad and over priced. Bartender didn't know how to make a few of the drinks worst part is he was the owner. Place is literally on the main drag thru Toccoa. Also the cops hangout in the parking lot waiting for you to leave. Place is a joke! read more

Stunned how bad our experience was. Our first time we waited an hour for our food. We decided to try it again to support a local business. Ordered a medium rare steak and was sent out a butterflied nearly well done steak. Not a big deal until Butch, the kitchen manager brought out the nearly well done steak and asked me "how much more medium rare do you want this?!" I told him medium rare is a warm red center (ask ANYONE who has ever worked at a steak house). He turned and walked away abruptly to then throw the plate and steak into a dirty dish "bucket" very loudly. About 10 minutes later a second steak was sent out that had been seasoned and literally laid on the grill on both sides for a few seconds (the waitress even told us he told the cook to leave it on for a few seconds in each side). It was ice cold in the middle. He apparently took offense to me not liking an almost well done steak when I requested medium rare and was being spiteful. He then confronted me and my husband about this second steak. Acting like a child as a manager is ridiculous and we will never return and let everyone know how horrible of an experience we had. I was polite and kind the entire time until he confronted us a second time. Please find a manager that knows how to treat people! read more

I had a bad experience there the owner is very racist and rude the food was horrible and dry

I would like to say that the reason the food was not up to par, was due to the place just opening. However, the portions were very very small compared to the price. I tried a fish sandwich and the actual piece of fish was much smaller than the bun and about 1/8 of an inch thick. It was basically a tartar sauce sandwich. Others in our group liked the food but the portions did not match the price at all. read more
