Pretty awesome place. Great for families and large groups. Plenty of space for kid to roam in safety while the adults can have a brew and a good time too. Food was pretty dang awesome and the service was top notch. I have this one marked!

Friend and I were going to Black Rock Mountain to go camping for the weekend and this place was recommended. I am now recommending it to everyone that drives up here. You order at the bar and started off with a local IPA and the Pulled Pork sandwich. She asked me which sauce and I asked for all three on the side. My recommendation is mixing the sweet and spicy together! The people behind the counter were super nice, the food was delicious, and the location opens up to head down to the beach area on the river. The place has a rock wall for the kids and they were having live music that night. Perfect place to go before or after your N.Ga adventures!

The food is amazing the service is great so kind people everyone!! This is the orchard sandwich with street corn..

Excellent food, quick service. A great stop with kids or a pup. Servings are generous. We enjoyed the open air seating. Try the orchard chicken salad sandwich.

Great fun atmosphere for warm or cool weather. Very close & convenient to the Gorge. The food was great. We had the club sandwich, wings, kale Caesar & budah bowl. All super. Only feedback is too many croutons in salad. The potato salad is a lot like dirty rice with some warm spices-not traditional.

In a word Outstanding Food! We had the Pumpkin Soup along with Seasonal Salad and Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Potato Salad. You could tell a lot of effort with excellent ingredients went into everything they served. Great atmosphere and plenty of running room for the kids in the backyard! You have got to give this place a try!

Laid back comfy place to enjoy a sandwich and a drink. Italian was good, club was good. Duck Cuban was dry, no flavor.

I am not local to the area and I do wish I could revisit this establishment. My bar fly days have been long gone, yet I guess "closing the bar" is part of my genetic structure, and these things don't go away. It's not something that I intend on doing, but the conversation flows with me and around me, and people just don't want me to go home! So, we ended up hanging out with one of the owners, and this gave me an insight to the whole idea behind this concept. If you are interested in local, unique products, and search for new flavors, this is the place to find excellent quality drinks. There's in-house gin and bitters, and that is all I will say. Well, one more thing I will say: don't be surprised if this bar becomes a national destination. The bar itself is classy and inviting, the music is great, the crowd is cool, but the hospitality is above tops. This place has it all and deserves a visit. Closing statement: very few places deserve 6 stars, this is one of them.

As a Louisiana transplant, I definitely appreciate the focus on Creole/Cajun cuisine. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Cobb Salad and a cup of chicken and andouille sausage gumbo. The Cobb Salad was phenomenal--huge, loaded with all the classic toppings, and packed with crispy bacon. I asked for grilled shrimp on top (not listed, but available if you ask), and they were big, perfectly cooked, and added the perfect touch. 10/10. The gumbo was a filé-style, and while the texture and balance of chicken, andouille sausage (which had a great kick), and rice were just right, the broth itself was a bit one-note--mainly the filé flavor came through. I probably wouldn't order it again, but to be fair, I make a pretty killer gumbo myself, so I might be spoiled! I'm already planning my next visit to try the chargrilled oysters (all the varieties!), plus the étouffée and jambalaya. Stay tuned for updates--this place is definitely on my radar!

Parking was super convenient -- we found a spot right on the street out front. Inside, the bar has that classic dive-bar charm: dark wood, cozy lighting, and a small, tucked-away stage in the back that looks perfect for live music. There wasn't any music while we were there, but it seems like a great setup for it. Our server was friendly and checked in on us a few times, which we appreciated. As for food and drinks, I ordered a Pineapple Paloma -- definitely a unique twist on the classic! I actually liked the unexpected smoky tropical flavor, though my husband took one sip and said "Ew, no!" (LOL). We split two sandwiches: the Pesto Grilled Cheese and the Italian Ciabatta. Both were tasty, with crisp bread and fresh, flavorful fillings. The chips were standard, and the side salad was simple -- nothing special, but no complaints either. Overall, it was a solid lunch spot. I'd definitely consider coming back, especially if there's live music next time -- I imagine that would add a great vibe to the experience!
