One of us ordered wine and she was the last to receive it. We waited over an hour after ordering our food before we just got up and left. We ordered 3 burgers and a 10 piece chicken wing. The burgers had not been started yet, the excuse was that they had a small kitchen and the wings take awhile. When we went to pay for our drinks before leaving the waitress couldn't even remember what we had. We were told that wings take long because they are smoked. Terrible experience!!!! The wings were way overdone and cold when they arrived - I've had beef jerky that was more tender. Somehow, they were still tasty - just really hard to chew - anyone who has had dental work - beware! Burgers were well seasoned but also waaaaaaay over cooked - imagine the patty well done then cooked a couple more times just to make sure it was really dead. Maybe I needed to specify I prefer my burger slightly juicy when I placed the order? I will say this - the place looked clean. Their ketchup bottles were labeled with dates showing when the bottles were opened. The soda machines looked clean and counters/tables did as well. I don't think the $54 bill was reflected in the quality of food. So sad. I was hoping this one was going to be a winner.

While awaiting our food, one of the employees started yelling politics at the TV which was located behind us. At first I ignored it, but then he returned and continued again, which at this point I politely asked him to stop. Which he grumbled and said the TV shouldn't be on that station anyway and walked to the Bar area. Then, he made a disparging comment about me loudly to another employee. At this point, I'd had enough of his juvenile behavior and called him out on his statement and added that we came for lunch and not his political ranting. At this point he shut up, wisely. As for the food, average. They charge a surcharge for using a credit card and also the prices charged did not match the published prices on the menu, to their benefit of course. That's dishonest. We won't be back and will advise our local friends as well. Pro tip: religion and politics are NOT appropriate employee conversions amongst the paying customers.

He offered his apology, a refund, and an appreciation for the feedback. It goes a long way when a person takes responsibility, especially business owners. Based on his explanations to me, which fit my experience, they were understaffed by 1 person, and also had double the traffic that they do on a usual Tuesday. I don't know if I'll ever be around this area enough to give them another shot, but I do appreciate reaching a real human, especially in this day and age. Old Review: "Yes, I'm reposting my Google review so Yelpers don't miss it: This was a total disapointment. What a terrible meal. Don't take them up on Tuesday's "BOGO" night for hamburgers. It was bread on a tray with a flavorles, overcooked bison burger hockey puck, a side caesar drowning in dressing, and water that came at the end of the meal. Stay away. Yuck. Oh yeah, and weak drinks, more sugar than anything else."

Let me take a moment to extol the virtues of possibly the best restaurant in Commerce. Fireball…read moreWings & Philly serves wings, Phillies, and more, but not Fireball whiskey sadly. There's a lot of interesting looking items on the menu, but I come here for the wings. I usually order a 10 wing combo with fries and a drink. At ~$15, it's not particularly cheap, but it's roughly in line with the current market. Choose from ~29 flavors. I honestly don't necessarily have a go to. I also would like to recommend Fireball consider adding a spicy barbecue sauce as one of the flavor options. The wings and fries have been perfect every single visit. It's honestly remarkable that they haven't missed yet considering how many times I've visited. As with anything, this is of course a matter of personal preference. I'm sure some may prefer extra crispy. They'll, of course, happily oblige any customer who requests it. Among the many great things about this restaurant is the fact that they don't nickel-and-dime you. All flats or all drums often carries a surcharge, but not at this restaurant. Some places (I'm looking at you Zaxby's) are very stingy with sauces. I'm sure there are hard limits to how much they will give for free, but I once saw the owner give a regular customer a few ramekins of yum yum sauce for no charge, even though the customer was prepared to pay. I usually choose to dine in, and the dining room is pretty comfortable. There are a ton of condiments available, including lemon pepper and Cajun seasoning. The drink options are standard in some ways but unique in others, with the option for Fruit Punch. and this Peach Drink, along with the usual soda favorites. I agree with Denise. I'd say this is probably the best restaurant between Atlanta and Charlotte.

I don't usually post about bad experiences, but tonight was one of those nights where I'm hoping I…read morecan save someone else the frustration we experienced tonight. Tonight was our final attempt at giving Pings another chance, and unfortunately it was even worse than the last time. We called more than 24 hours in advance to let them know we'd be bringing a large party. During that phone call they were so appreciative, would be sure to let the staff know, and would be sure to have a table set up for us outside. Once we arrived today, that completely changed and were told "it doesn't matter what you were told" and were completely dismissed by the manager. The manger actually said, you can wait, or leave. We decided to wait, even though we were already treated horribly just trying to check in. After waiting over 30 minutes to be seated, we were then told they didn't care that we were a party of 12 -- we were not allowed to move the outside tables together so we could sit as a group. This was after our previous visit, where we waited over an hour just to be seated, and then another hour for mediocre food. We genuinely hoped things would improve after they reopened, but the service and food are somehow worse than before. Save your time and your money. There are too many great local restaurants that actually value their customers.
