The food was awesome, the margaritas were fantastic and served in mason jars. This name of this place sounded familiar to me so we came here. We went in thinking this was the place and was seated quickly. They served chips and a green salsa right away, my riding buddy thought that the salsa we had before was red. We ordered our usual margaritas anticipating a good cocktail. When the drinks came we were a little disappointed that they were not in a mason jar. We were very disappointed that the margaritas tasted like there was no tequila in them, it was like drinking mix. I finished mine fairly quickly and when the server brought the food We mentioned how the margaritas tasted like there was no alcohol in them. He explained that the margaritas are pre-made in batches, a margarita should always be made fresh from scratch in my opinion. I asked for another and also asked that there be alcohol in this one. He brought the second one and the flavor was much improved, it no longer tasted like just mix. My riding buddy ordered a second and her drink still tasted like mix only so I ordered a shot. The service was good, the ambiance was great but the margaritas a big let down.

The waitress was a little cranky at first, though, and they wouldn't split the bill, which always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. When you have a group of people, I really don't understand why splitting the bill has to be such a big deal. Other than that, we had a good meal. Like other reviewers have said, I can confirm both the host stand and wait staff are inattentive and dismissive. It would be interesting to understand why they do not shut down or work elsewhere if they are so clearly appalled by the thought of customers existing in their midst. In the past 18 months, I eaten with another family member twice and I've made two advanced reservations in their auxiliary dining area for holiday business brunches for 6-8 people. Both brunch times they were confused when my team arrived, and either feigned that they couldn't find the reservation I'd confirmed, or that someone shouldn't have booked that space. Each time my team was shoved into the booth/chair combo seating table in the main restaurant. We could barely move our arms to lift our utensils because we were in such close proximity within our own group and to adjacent diners. No matter the time of visit, twice they have refused a common on-menu coffee item, stating something was not working. It was two months between visits. How much time must elapse until you repair or take it off the menu? The menu itself has remained relatively the same over the years, but the quality and taste is no longer worth coming in. The staff ignores, and is downright rude and snippy, even with only 2-3 people to a group on a slower day. This is a very angry place.
