Visiting the area and took a walk over to Reefpoint. Overall, I'd recommend it. They are right in…read morethe marina here in Racine. The restaurant is quite spacious and located on the second level of the building. There are options to sit inside, outside but covered, or outside. The marina and Lake Michigan add the experience with great views from the deck area. Our server was very nice. She was super attentive, and we really appreciated her checking back in for refills, napkins, etc. The food was actually the highlight of my experience. I got the garlic shrimp skewers which came with a Hawaiian roll, Cole slaw and a side (I chose a baked potato). My partner got the prime rib dip with hush puppies. Didn't have a chance to take a pic of the cheese curds before they were devoured! Only downside is the place is VERY noisy. Everytime someone who move a chair, the scraping sound was otherworldly. They are metal chairs on a concrete/gravel flooring. Not ideal. And waitstaff was constantly dropping things and running into each other or the chairs/tables. That was a bit chaotic. However, the food was great and so were the views. They also have live music (they had wrapped up before we got there today). I'd definitely come back (maybe sit inside near an area where you can look out on the lake).

Wow! What a spectacular evening at Sebastian's!…read moreCelebrated my husband's birthday along with a hometown reunion of his siblings here the other evening and it was PERFECT. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is spot on and gives you exactly the feel you want in a fine dining establishment. But the thing that makes this restaurant stand far above most others is the service! From the minute we walked in, we encountered nothing but genuine smiles and a sense that everyone there seemed to really care and be invested in us having a wonderful experience in their place of business. We were greeted at the front desk by a team of radiant ladies at the host stand. It seriously felt like they were happy to see us! Violet was especially kind and gracious and we enjoyed a short chat with her. The bartender was pleasant and efficient in taking our large varied order, and the drinks were solid. The bus and runner staff all were personable, polite and expedient. But the true star of our night was our waiter Brandon! He was spectacular. There were 15 of us and he handled our large table calmly and skillfully. He handled our indecisiveness, modifications, add ons, questions and loud revelry, professionally and expertly, never loosing his composure or patience. He definitely made our night. Thank you Brandon. We live in New York and most of the others live in Milwaukee and Minneapolis now, but Racine is the hometown and the 4th of July is a kin to a sacred holiday. The parade not to be missed! So I'm sure many a visit back is in our future, and the next time we do, I will make sure Sebastian's is on the top of our must do list! So please stay wonderful! Five stars!

I asked them to cook new pieces, because the steak came with yellow peppercorn like sauce all over and if they refried the same pieces the sauce would turn them into a hockey puck... well they brought me out the same pieces. Kind of turned me off, but Michael was so nice and asked me to pick something else. I got the steak frites instead and they were exceptional! Also had the desserts and they were to die for. I was there traveling for work and will go back if I am back in town again!

I met family at Maple Table for a recent brunch. It's a cute space and much larger than it appears…read more We were drawn in by the broad menu with options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Our service was good and the server was friendly. I will say there are not enough soft furnishings here and it's pretty loud. I tried the Crab Cake Benedict - Poached eggs on top of two crab cakes, topped with hollandaise sauce, and scallions, served with remoulade sauce. It was quite good, but the crab cakes had more breading than I'd say is ideal and they were pretty dark. I also had a Lemon Grove mimosa - champagne, the Botanist gin, Limoncello, bitters and lemonade. Very tasty. Three of our party had Corned Beef Hash & Eggs - hand-pulled, slow-braised corned beef & red potatoes & onions with eggs your way with choice of toast. They all raved about the dish. The corned beef was especially noteworthy and exceptional. My cousin-in-law had a drinks flight that included a bloody Mary, a mimosa, a screwdriver and a beer. Fun, but he did say the drinks were all strong. My cousin had a Blackberry Basil mimosa - champagne, basil syrup and pureed blackberries, which she liked and she likes very few alcoholic drinks. She also liked her waffle, hash browns and her side of bacon. All in all we enjoyed our experience and would definitely go back. Parking can be a challenge since it's right on Memorial Square.
