I got one of the specials, a 70 minute full body massage for $45, which is an unbeatable price. Amanda was thorough and firm, but checked in periodically to make sure the pressure was good. The massage started the way I'm used to, a little bit of lotion and relaxing pressure. Once she got to my feet, I realized how strong she was, as she really got into areas that needed it. She continued with the very deep massage, finishing with a long stretch of oil massage, which worked into the muscles of my back. I left completely relaxed and the pain in my back is already subsiding. Because of the deep tissue work, I'm anticipating feeling even better in a couple days. A couple caveats that shouldn't stop you from going: I called in for an appointment, and the woman on the phone spoke limited English we had some trouble establishing the time. In the confusion, I went in for an appointment at 10 am, but the massage therapist wasn't available until 10:30 or so. I wasn't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal, and next time I'll try a little harder to pin down the time. Another issue caused by language differences is that Cindy, the other masseuse, has more trouble understanding client requests, which a friend reported after going here and having a massage that wasn't what she hoped for. I recommend asking for Amanda to make sure that you get the experience that you want. They take appointments and walk-ins, and offer a range of services from full-body massage to foot massages, hot stone, Swedish massage, and some other things I don't remember. I always leave feeling nice and relaxed. The price point here is great! Not too expensive and they give you your moneys worth. I think the main thing when you go into any massage place is to be specific on you want. Communication can be a challenge but just repeat yourself if you need to.
