Most foot spa places will wash your feet first, none of that here. I think the owner/manager was my therapist, because she kept leaving to answer the door or speak to someone. The facility has no source of music, so she used her phone to play a strange assortment of music that wasn't very relaxing, and it kept getting interrupted whenever she received a text, and twice she stopped to take and make a phone call. The massage itself felt untrained, with uneven amounts of time spent on left and right, like she wasn't sure what to do with a full hour. She also used her thumbnail to scrape the skin of my foot repeatedly. Whether as an exfoliation technique or just not knowing how to use her thumb without the scraping, I do not know. Eventually she retrieved some hot stones, but she rubbed them roughly across every surface, including my ankle bones, which hurt. Finally she tried some leg stretch exercises and attempted to do a light impact slapping along my thighs while I had my hips turned to the side, and she slapped me in the testicles. We were done at that point. I did not enjoy my experience, and recommend you find somewhere else with more training, equipment conducive to foot massages (like comfortable chairs, and not hard tables), and more experience.
