I started talking to him about the family business and how his Mom & Dad has been making and selling Lau Lau and Pipikaula for years. They make their authentic food and also sell plates at the Kapolei Don Quijote parking lot and Kroc Center Night Market. I bought some Laulau and there were juices in the bag and it was wrapped in foil. I bought the warm Laulau they also sell it cold so you can store at home . I heated it up and it was the best Laulau I ever ate. Juicy, the meat was so tender and tasty. The taro leaf was cooked to perfection. I wish I bought more & will try some Pipikaula next time. Maybe if they sell some plates more people will know what a gem Papa Laulauz is.

I also tried the cabbage and pork and that's also excellent! I wish there's more filling because there's quite a bit of empty space inside the dumpling. The skin had the right consistency, not too thin or thick. The shoyu and chili sauce that came with the potstickers also complimented the potstickers very well. It's like that citron tea you get at the Korean markets you have to mix with liquid -- it needs to be mixed more so it stays at the bottom of the cup. I can just do this at home... Overall, the potstickers were the best thing I ordered but I'm not sure if 6 pieces for $10 is worth it.
