When we were tightening the brakes on my 90 year-old mother's Rollator walker, the little end on the wires that looks like the end on a shoelace came off and we can't get it back in the brake part. When I called this business last night, they said to come in when they open and then they could take a look at it and fix it right away. My mom can't walk without it. So I did just that and the bike tech I spoke with just now said that I would have to leave it with them because they weren't sure what was wrong with it. When I explained that I knew what was wrong with it and showed him, he looked at the three people behind me in line and said that he's not a miracle worker and I'd have to leave it and they may or may not get to it today. I said my mom is in her apartment sitting in a chair waiting for me to get back with this walker and was there anyway that he could take a look at it right away. He said no.
Very disappointed in the customer service and lack of patience for our emergency situation and that our mom needs this for mobility.
We will be taking our mom's walker to a different bike company tomorrow knowing this is a pretty simple, quick fix.
In the near future, when we are looking for new bikes, which is our plan, we will look elsewhere. read more
