From the owner: My name is Joslyn, and I am a full-time, kennel-free, bonded & insured pet sitter with 9 years…read moreprofessional experience. I board 3-4 dogs at a time. I have a family background of free-range cattle ranching & have raised, loved & cared for a variety of pet species- from guinea to exotic birds. Volunteering at several rescues, and helping raise several puppy litters, I have dedicated most of my life to learning about the spectrum of dog temperaments! I treat pets as if they our own, because in those moments, they really are! I love reassuring and bonding with animals. My effort is making them feel like they are on vacation themselves. I have a learned and experiential understanding of dog behavior. I specialize in a variety of dog energy levels and reactivities, including; rescues, elders, high energy dogs, hunting dogs, and puppies. I monitor constantly for their emotional states, taking note of confidence, over stimulation, and stress. This eye for behavior assures that I am in full control and always know where an emotional state is headed in a pack dynamic. I take away triggers like shared meal times with dogs from different families, with dedicated areas for feeding and bone chewing. Pets from different families are never left alone together. I am kennel free save for in the event that a pup is comfortable with crates, and use them normally.

She had tried another daycare in the area but unfortunately wasn't able to stay because her anxiety made it difficult for her to adjust. The staff here were willing to give her a chance, and we are so glad they did! She ended up doing really well, and everyone we met was incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were willing to work with her and let her settle in at her own pace. We visit Billings and are so happy to have found a daycare where we feel comfortable leaving her. We will absolutely be bringing her back whenever we're in town. My messages weren't answered promptly, and when they did they had excuses for not doing so, and there was no commitment to doing the service. Apparently they did not want to meet with me to discuss the service or show the property where the dogs would have been kept. When they told me they would get back to me in the last message between us, they never contacted me again. It would be much better if they were honest and let me know they did not want the job early on in the communications, rather than leading me on. As it was I had to scramble to find another dog boarding service before leaving on vacation. I'm not convinced they are even a real business after all the runaround. Don't waste your time with them. If I could give them a zero score I would.

We live less…read morethan five minutes from the groomer, and there is absolutely no way it took us more than 15 minutes to return with the required paperwork. In fact, we were back in approximately 10 minutes. More importantly, before we left, the staff specifically assured us that if we returned with the paperwork, our dog would be groomed. We immediately did exactly what we were asked to do and returned with the paperwork well within the timeframe we were given. We relied on what your staff told us, followed the instructions, and made every effort to comply. To then be told that our dog could not be groomed because of the timeline is extremely frustrating and does not match what actually happened. We expect a business to stand behind what its employees tell customers. If the policy or timeframe was different, that should have been clearly explained to us from the beginning rather than after we had done exactly what we were instructed to do.
