Still love Rae, however not a fan of the business practices of Groomingdales. My hubby was going…read moreto be passing by them on the way home and called me to find out if my dog is ready to go. Told him yes but how do I pay them and he said just do it over the phone. Well folks, NEVER AGAIN!!!! They charged me an extra fee for paying over the phone because the card isn't in the business. I used a debit card and they charged 3%, we all know that charge is for credit cards and then another fee for the card not being there. I suppose if they had it on file they'd still charge you for the card not being there.

Groomingdales and its owner are the absolute worst grooming business I've ever dealt with. I told…read morethem on the phone, very clearly, that my cat has hip issues and matting. They said that if he couldn't handle the service, they would stop and adjust the price. They quoted me $110 for a full-service groom and said there could potentially be an extra $25 charge for the matting. That's it. No mention of a "starting price." No sliding scale. No hidden clauses. Just a straightforward quote and a potential upcharge. When they called me after I dropped him off, they said he "couldn't handle the service." Funny how they still managed to shave him into an absolute butcher job--bad enough that they admitted over the phone, when I called to see if he was ready, that they "don't normally like to send them out the door looking like that." According to their own website, a full-service groom includes nail clipping, ear cleaning and hair pulling (if needed), and a bath. My cat didn't get a full service. He didn't even get a bath. Yet somehow, they claim they trimmed his back nails--while his pads are still covered in fur and his legs weren't even touched. The rude, smug owner then had the audacity to lie and claim the $110 was a starting price. Absolute bullshit. When I told her to take off the bath fee, she threatened to call the cops if I didn't pay. That's right--she threatened me instead of fixing her mistake. This company stole from me, period. They overcharged me for a service they didn't complete, and the total for the abuse came out to $130. I would strongly advise anyone reading this: take your pet anywhere else. These people are thieves, scammers, and arrogant. And since you asked me to include it--yes, I did "use foul language" while there. Fuck yes, I am pissed that I was stolen from by this shitty business and the self-righteous fraud. (You mean like that, Stacey?) Every time someone treats you with the same contempt you showed me, remember this interaction and know it's karma--because you earned every bit of it. No wonder the building reeks. And it's not the animals. It's the stench of the rotting soul that runs the place.

We have been utilizing Moore Lane Vet for several years now and I cannot say enough about how great…read morethey are. The front desk staff are extremely welcoming and professional. The techs have all been very responsive to our senior pets' needs and treat them as if they're their own. The doctors all have a tremendous wealth of knowledge and have helped us navigate our medically complex animals with great care. Their facility has all the equipment necessary for just about any emergency or procedure your pet may need which really sets them apart from other clinics in Billings. We have/had 2 very senior dogs and the expertise of Moore Lane has helped us navigate their latter years well beyond what we had expected from them and we were able to get and give a couple extra years of companionship and love. We lost one of them this year at almost 17 and the other is about to turn 16. We cannot say enough great things about all of their staff. It's a tough business to be in and they always manage to greet us with a smile and make us feel like family.

It's heartbreaking to see a place that should prioritize animal welfare put money before the well-being of a suffering pet. I would never recommend this vet to anyone who truly cares about their animals.

Miranda was recommended to me by another trainer in town who didn't have openings. Boy am I glad I matched up with her! In just a few short months, Miranda has shown me how to guide my girl into making good choices for the situation so she's not just listening to my commands but shaping into an intelligent canine. I appreciate that Miranda has a diverse staff to give exposure/socialization to my puppy. She always makes sure there is a good ratio of people to dogs in day training (note: not "doggy daycare" because they work them!). When I pick up Xena, I get the details of the day: what she did well, what she had difficulty with and how to reinforce at home. Puppy socials are the best (too bad Xena is too big now)! Xena now sees kids and sits her butt down so hard, wagging tail, waiting for a treat. Also, the outings are so good for my puppy to learn being outside around other dogs/people doesn't mean she gets to play play play. In a private with Miranda, she jumps right in to help you figure out solutions to your training problems. She is realistic about what you and your dog should work on to get to the goal you want; adding onto those skills as you both improve. Not everyone wants a dog to jump through hoops. She wants to help you with dog behavior YOU want to work towards; what are you looking for out of your dog training? Miranda will definitely help you make it happen!

She and her team now offer day training which is a serious lifesaver! Who wouldn't want their dog in the best hands ever and also being trained while you are at work?! They continue to impress even as Miranda's business grows. Our puppy now goes to day training on a pretty regular basis and we will start puppy classes soon. Miranda also has a good variety of foods, treats, and toys in her shop and they are reasonably priced which is so nice! Thanks for making it so easy to leave my new puppy with you and your team!!
