We found a class that fit our schedule and jumped on it. Our class was a sun vinyasa flow taught by Monica and it was just what we needed. We had a wonderful conversation and even took a picture. Taking this class with my son was one of my favorite points of the weekend. I've only been going here for about 3 weeks now and so far it has been good and I have enjoyed the classes I have taken. It's not gimmicky like some chain yoga places that really emphasized fitness and looking a certain way rather than the mind body connection. I also like how this studio is set up, and I enjoy going in the mornings as it's much more relaxed and not as many people which helps with my anxiety a lot. If you're interested in yoga and maybe are apprehensive, give this place a try!

I've been to a handful of yoga studios and classes over the years. I can say without a doubt that Better Buzz is among my favorites. The studio itself it cute, intimate, and incredibly well maintained. What's even more important, though, is that it is incredibly welcoming: it's one of those rare places that seems to have established a strong culture of community that is somehow welcoming to even newcomers. This is not true of most gyms or studios I have been to in Denver and elsewhere. Part of my comments on the welcoming vibe come from the instruction itself. After having experienced a handful of classes now, I have had ~4 different instructors. Each has had their own style, but each has also been awesome and catered to a wide range of experience and skill levels. As a relative beginner to yoga, this has made me feel both motivated and welcomed. I'm so excited that Better Buzz has some of these partnerships in the area and look forward to continuing to come here!

This is a small-ish studio, with classic and Cadillac reformers, plus they offer mat pilates with "the barrel" also. I enjoy a classic reformer session and am always happy to work in some jump board if it's being offered. The most important thing is stretching out my back and strengthening the core. It helps with posture and overall toning. While I'm not the most fit in the group, I can keep up with the intermediate students. Very wonderful, welcoming studio for experts or first-timers.

Well due to weather and things coming up on call, I was unable to make it into the studio. I reached out to Jen before my classes expired (which surprised me, no one told me the classes expired in 3 months but usually it's a year everywhere else). They still offer the package I got for private Pilates so it wasn't like a special promo they were running... Jen said it was no problem and she would schedule me for my last 2 classes- then radio silence lol. I've sent emails to her, called and left a voicemail, no one ever answers the phone so like I said, not surprised they are closing but it's not a huge loss, plenty of other studios in Denver. I guess what bothered me the most is Jen makes up rules as she goes and doesn't keep her word and tells you what you want to hear to get your money. Oh well, $200 for 1 private Pilates class lol. I stumbled upon the Englewood location of Black Swan Yoga back in July 2021 and had the pleasure of taking Shea's class. Her class not only inspired me to take another class, but to also join BSY's Yoga Teacher Training. BSY's YTT is a 200-hr program that is accredited through Yoga Alliance. During BSY YTT, you'll learn all facets of yoga: history, philosophy, anatomy, spiritualism, meditation, hatha and vinyasa flows, theming classes, the chakra system, trauma in-formed yoga, prenatal yoga and nutrition. BSY's program sets their students up for success and to feel prepared to teach at graduation. Lead teachers Kiana and Sean are extremely knowledgeable on all things yoga and have been teaching yoga for many years. They teach from a place of authenticity and encourage their students to do the same. Other things about BSY Denver: The studios themselves are very clean and they take the proper COVID precautions. Both studios convey a calm/chill vibe from the lighting, to the artwork, to the music played. BSY yoga teachers are warm and welcoming when you enter the studio. They take pride in creating a safe and inclusive space for you to belong! BSY is all about building community, making connections, spreading love, and creating unity. I highly suggest taking a class and asking about their YTT program as soon as possible. You will not regret it.
